We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The lodge was spotless, beautifully presented, and in a great location. Steve was an excellent host, communicating clearly and ensuring everything was perfect for our visit. Upon arrival, the park staff were incredibly helpful, quickly replacing a smoke alarm battery for us. A special thanks to Debbie, who went out of her way to call ahead and place a takeaway order just before the kitchen closed—a small gesture that made a big difference, especially with two small children in tow. The site itself was a hit with the kids; they loved the pool, play area, and delicious food. We truly enjoyed our stay and hope to return!

We stayed here to be close to our daughter’s 40th birthday weekend celebrations and it was perfect for us. Everything worked, it was clean and even had a decent set of kitchen knives! Can’t tell you how many places we’ve stayed that haven’t had even the most simple kitchen basics. So thanks. Water was super hot and easy instructions to follow for operating. Only niggle for me was we had to take our own towels.I would rather have paid a few extra pounds and not had to think about having to take them with me. Super recommended

There were 4 of us who stayed in The Lodge without children and we found it very peaceful & everything we could ask for. The beds were extremely comfy and plenty of space in all the rooms. We stayed in two evenings and cooked a meal and the kitchen was fully equipped. The other evenings we dined out in great restaurants. One of them was in the one on site. If anyone goes with children they would have a really exciting time with lots to do. We would recommend this holiday to anyone.

Very comfortable and very very clean

A lovely spacious lodge, immaculately clean and in a quiet corner of the holiday park. Perfect for a family getaway, great to have full kitchen and utility facilities! Steve was very helpful with information and recommendations. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Christchurch. Thank you!

From my initial booking the owner was helpful in getting back to me and answering my questions and providing a guide to all you need to know on arrival and departure. Lodge was very spacious and very up to date in decor. It made the lodge feel very homely. Fire pit/BBQ provided and extra chairs if needed. Do remember to take towels as these are not provided which we knew about and were fully prepared. Had a fun time spending time with my family creating memories. Went to Mudeford via the ferry which was a lovely day out and a trip to Burley to see the horses in the town. Weather was perfect for us too! We will definitely be back again.

We loved the decor throughout. The beds were comfy. Great location, very short drive to the beach. Hope to stay again one day!

We had a lovely break and were extremely lucky with the weather, mini heatwave. The accommodation is in a fabulous location and was clean, tidy and spacious and had everything you could possibly need. Nearby Avon beach was perfectly accessible for my elderly parents and we were grateful for the use of the sun umbrellas. I would happily recommend to anyone.

Clean and well equipped

Very communicative host with lots of information and description of accommodation and area. The accommodation is immaculate. There is some noise from the road early morning.

Perfect location and layout. Nice quiet spot. The poperty was very tastefully decorated with good wifi, modern TVs etc. There was literally everything there. Utility room was especially useful. The beach was only 15 mins walk which we managed easily with a baby and 2 year old. We also thought it was the nicest / quietest part of the beach. All in all, we had a lovely break. Steve couldn't have been more helpful. Only disappointment were the facilities of Hoburne park. We were expecting the outdoor pool to still be open but it was closed the week before - would have liked to have been informed. We only managed 30 minutes in the kids indoor pool before the kids swimming lessons started so we had to leave. There was precious little for a 2 year old in the outdoor play area - one swing, a see-saw and a boat. The #3.50 cappucinos they made from a machine were tiny - we asked for some bacon rolls only to be told that they don't do them after 11:30am. Nobody there seemed bothered.

Great place. Down side Rather un welcome email and hosts eg dont mess it up as we have sued previous guests who left it untidy and here is a list of 1000 rules including cleaning the fridge when you leave. Very misleading re extra charges to use park facilities. Left me feeling hosts were mo et grabbing despite paying top money for the place…. Left a sour taste but it is a great property despite this

Unwelcoming attitude by owners eg email stating they gave sued previous guests (very threatening) and lack openness about extra charges to use facilities. Endless instructions/demands on how to leave the property including cleaning the fridge etc despite paying top money i felt patronised

A lovely comfortable lodge in a great location - close to beaches and the New Forest. Everything we needed for our weekend stay. Beautifully furnished and very spacious, bonus being two bathrooms, a utility room and outdoor dining space. Excellent communication prior to and during our stay. Would highly recommend.

Lodge was very comfortable,clean and situated in quieter area of the park. Enjoyed our weekend break.

The lodge is very roomy with a great layout which meant we were all together and sit in comfort. Bedrooms were spacious and everyone slept soundly on the beds. Having two loos were a bonus as well.

Nothing about the lodge itself - it was faultless!

Wow !! Amazing stay in a luxury 5 star lodge . There is nothing the owners haven’t thought of .spotlessly clean . Well appointed. Comfortable beds . Great location for lovely beach walks and close to the new forest . Would highly recommend .

Lodge was really a lovely home from home in a quiet corner of the Hoburne Park site. We can't fault anything about it. Great and informative arrival pack before departure with lots of advice on places to eat etc. Communication with Steve was always brilliant and nothing was ever too much trouble. Would highly recommend to anybody and if we ever find ourselves back in Dorset, we wouldn't hesitate to return to Orchid 9.

The lodge was absolutely lovely, very spacious for the four of us, very clean and modern with all that we could possibly need. We will definitely recommend the lodge and the area with good restaurants locally and plenty of places to visit.

Great accommodation, lovely spot on the park. Very clean and comfortable, we used the sofa bed and this was also really comfy. Very well equipped. Great location for visiting New Forest & also fab to be able to walk to the beach.

This was like a home from home. Everything you needed to make your stay comfortable. Full sized fridge and freezer, microwave, lovely large cooker…if you wanted to cook! Patio furniture, complete with sunshade. En-suite and bathroom…even a utility room if you needed to do your washing.

Only one issue, there was lots of perfumed sticks to make the property smell nice. The only problem was it set my husband off coughing uncontrollably! He suffers from asthma/COPD and it really affected his breathing. We had to assign them outside in the end due to their very strong smell.

This is a lovely, modern, comfortable lodge and has everything you need. It’s really clean, very spacious and is a perfect base from which to explore. Steve is a welcoming and helpful host and responds very quickly to any communication. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

We enjoyed a 4 day stay in this beautiful accommodation which definitely lives up to the title ‘luxury’ The facilities on site were good we spent a couple of nights in the club house which was a bit of cheesy fun! Can’t wait to go back!

Wonderful stay with my young family. Lodge is absolutely beautiful and had everything we needed. Beds are super comfy and it’s in a great location.

Hands down the best Air BnB I’ve stayed at so far! The lodge has everything you could possibly need for a family get away. The hosts really have thought of everything! We were just blown away by how pristine Orchid 9 was. Spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated, we were particularly impressed by all of the kitchen amenities. We had planned to eat out to where possible, but the kitchen was so well equipped, we found that we didn’t want to! Communication with Steve prior to our stay was superb and he was even able to organise our guest passes for the park which was a lovely extra touch. Although the park wasn’t fully open during our stay, we were able to enjoy the swimming pool and I can imagine that once Covid restrictions are relaxed, there is an abundance of activities to keep families entertained. The location of the park, and in particular the lodge itself was perfect for us with a number of supermarkets just a short drive away and both the New Forest and Bournemouth very close by for day trips. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return in the future.

Great communication prior to arrival. The place was very clean and comfortable. Lots of lovely touches like soap, coffee, tea etc. A great place to stay-close to the beautiful New Forest and 5 mins from the beach.

What an absolute gem! we had a fantastic time in Christchurch made even better by the pristine accommodation... to the point that we have even looked into buying a lodge for our family. So many lovely touches.
