Perfect weekend away with friends

Great location, great space, and the facilities were excellent. The breakfasts at the cafe were really good value, the live music in the barn was a real treat, and the inn was clean, well equipped, and just right for the 6 of us for a weekend away.

I think the only things we commented on were the lack of mirrors and the crows nest room, which needs something to stop the light from the street light coming in. The rest of the time, we kept commenting on how great it all was.

Great place to stay.

Well furnished and equipped. Clean and tidy and lovely and warm.

Couldn't regulate the shower in main bathroom. But only there for two days so not vitally important.

great location, clean and very friendly staff.

great location, clean, lots of outside space and a great cafe and plenty of cider onsite. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful.

fire exit (staircase) leading from the pub to the house wasn’t secure/lockable . it was a concern that one of the children could easily open the door and fall down the stairs and also that someone from the pub could access the house. The front door wasn’t lockable from the inside so we had to put a chair across the door to stop the children from opening it and walking outside.

What a gem!

What a lovely property and real value for money! So comfy and all modern cottage furnishings. It has all the small extra touches that make your stay like home. We really enjoyed ourselves. The staff are welcoming and the locals are so friendly!

It is family friendly but if you have a toddler you need to keep a close eye on them, the cottage windows are easy to open and there are a few steep stair cases but they do warm you about these. Not a deal breaker though, we’d definitely stay again.

Great base for Longleat

Great friendly staff, big cottage with lots of room for kids to run around. Lovely touches like bread, milk and eggs left. Well equipped kitchen and comfy beds.

Nothing to be honest
