Remarkable 2 Bed Apartment in Edinburgh

The apartment was ideal for 4 adults, plenty of space and met all our needs. The apartment is ideally located in Leith we plenty of cafes, bars and resturants all within walking distants. There is also good transport links near by with easy access to Edinburgh and the airport. Would stay again

Just back from a lovely stay in this apartment with friends for a visit to Edinburgh. The apartment was perfect for our needs. We were met and shown round by our host and she was wonderful, friendly, informative and welcoming. The apartment was spotless and extremely well equipped. A few minutes walk from the tram stop into Edinburgh city and easy walk to the Royal Yacht Britannia which were our main reasons for travelling. Parking was secure and on the ground floor of the building with easy access to the apartment via a lift. We really can’t recommend this place highly enough and even got a recommendation for places to eat, all of which were superb ! Mary - you’re a superstar !

It was perfect. Secure parking, lift up to the property, spacious, very well appointed - a home from home. Met by Mary, who, after helping us park, showed us up to and around the property. We had a function to attend in Dr Bell's Baths - we knew it was close, but we were amazed when we realised we could actually see it from our balcony! Brilliant to wander home at midnight, too! We were so comfortable here, and we can't thank our hosts enough. We've raved about it to pals already. Thank you so much for making our most memorable family wedding even more special. Fantastic home. Mary was a fantastic welcoming host. Good location for Royal Yacht and quay side bars and restaurants. New Tram network made it really easy to get into city centre. Would recommend.

Mary really cares about her guests by leaving milk, water in the fridge, I really appreciated that we had everything ready. We could even leave our bags in the flat before check-in!

Great location - so easy to get into the centre of Edinburgh. Secure parking was brilliant and the apartment itself was gorgeous, spacious and had everything we needed! Mary was super friendly and so helpful, we can’t wait to visit again 😄

The property was very clean and comfortable and had everything you needed. Mary was a wonderful host she welcomed us in and had excellent local knowledge. The location was 5 mins walk from the trams which took us straight into the city.

Lo que más nos gustó sin lugar a dudas fue la anfitriona, Mary. Encantadora, cercana, y disponible para prestarnos ayuda en lo que necesitáramos. La casa es muy cómoda, es espaciosa, y es tal y como está descrita en el anuncio. Tiene cafeterías, pastelerías, todo tipo de negocios porque es una zona de viviendas y un supermercado justo debajo del apartamento que abre a las 7 de la mañana y cierra a las 11 de la noche.

Por poner una pega, no es de los lugares más cercanos al centro pero tiene autobuses constantes y no hay ningún problema de comunicación con el centro de Edimburgo.

Fantastic for the family the apartment was. We all had an enjoyable time . The trams are only a 5 minute walk and then within 15 minutes your in the centre of Edinburgh.

Mary, the host, was so lovely. The apartment itself is absolutely beautiful and in a perfect location. There is a Tesco just downstairs and the tram is 2 minutes away. The apartment is really big and such good value for money. We were through for a wedding and we had everything we needed and more. Perfect score from us!

Grosse Wohnung, ein bisschen ausserhalb des Zentrums, aber mit Bus oder Tram war man innert 30 Min. im Zentrum von Edinburgh. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und es hatte Kaffee, Tee, Milch und Wasser.

Die Strasse war laut, man konnte nicht mit offenem Fenster schlafen.

Owner very welcoming. Place is superbly clean and comfortable. Owner pays attention to all small personal details and keeps the place in good condition. Apartment is convenient to all shops and sight seeing places. We walk from the apartment to Edinburgh town centre only 45 mins very slow walk with all photo times included . Will definitely return when we come back to Edinburgh in future.

Auch im Bad war alles da, was man braucht. Wir fühlten uns sofort wohl. Die Innenstadt ist mit Tram und Bus schnell erreicht. Die Lage ist außerdem durch den Leith Walk und Hafen super!

Great place with spacious and secure parking. Mary and Anil were very easy to deal with and friendly. Our second stay in Leith which is great location especially now the tram to town is right outside the door.

The location was perfect for a quick bus into the centre or a very short walk into Leith. The flat is huge, especially by Edinburgh standards and feels spacious throughout. Exceptional value!

Fantastic! Immaculate! Quiet, a little bit removed from noisy downtown area which was perfect. Lovely set up. Close to trams. Uber was 5 min ride to Town Center or 15 min walk. Mary met us with a warm weclome at the door, showed us in and around the various in/out routes with lots of local advice. The apartment was decorated for christmas and we quickly felt at home and a little more festive that we had expected to feel. There was a lovely bakery over the way when we ddn't want to go far and easy access into the busy centre or the shore.

The location was fantastic. Two minutes from the shore and around 10 minutes to the castle and other attractions. We used an Uber to get to the main city center instead of driving because of construction works everywhere in the city. the bedrooms are god size with two bathrooms. the kitchen had everything we needed. There is a Tesco express right underneath which was useful. Secure car parking too which was wonderful to have. Plus truly wonderful hosts who are beyond hospitable and welcoming.

There was absolutely nothing NOT to like. It is a truly remarkable apartment, which is spacious, clean and bright. We will definitely return!

It has been said in other reviews but this is a fantastic apartment. Well situated, well equipped, super clean and excellent hosts who responded quickly to all our queries. Having car parking was a real bonus in Edinburgh.

Das Appartment ist sehr großzügig geschnitten und ausgestattet. Es gibt sogar einen Balkon. Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern und die Schlüsselübergabe war sehr angenehm. Das WiFi war stabil und schnell. Mit dem ÖPNV ist man schnell in Edinburgh und es gibt mehrere Haltestellen in der direkten Ungebung.

Gorgeous property! Amazing space (inside and out) and immaculately clean. Lots of added extras (including cling film!), which made it feel like a home away from home! Hosts were welcoming, friendly and very accommodating!

Only a minor aspect (which is personal preference). . . some heavier curtains in the bedrooms to block out the light.

Loved everything. Owners are very accommodating - even waiting up until 1am to hand us they keys. Great touches- it felt like a home from home.

The immaculate condition of the property, the friendly and accommodating owner, the car parking facilities, the central location, the little touches such as milk and water in the fridge, and tea and coffee available.

This apartment is perfect if you are travelling with family or friends. It felt like home, very spacious and comfortable. You could easily get to town with taxi or bus, and there was a grocery store down on the corner of the building. Many bars and restaurants nearby. Anil was a very patient man answering all my questions via email, and everything practical went smoothly. We are booking this apartment next time travelling to Edinburgh, for sure.

We had a lovely stay. It was close and convenient to the wedding venue, which is why we were there. The location in itself was fine. Shops both ways. With just a short Bus journey into town. Anil and Mary's touches to the apartment was great. Tea facilities, Milk, shower gel and Toilet roll to get you started was very useful. And it just felt like home from home.

The cleanest apartment we have ever lived. Its evident that the host put ALOT of thought in providing a comfortable stay. Everything we needed is there. We visited Edinburgh during a sudden storm and we were so glad that we could wait out the storm in this apartment while preparing a home cooked meal. Parking is provided. Location wise, it is only a 20 min bus ride from town. Very convenient. Hi Anil and Mary- you are awesome! We will definitely be back!!

Great location, jusst near the Waters of Leith, beautifully clean and well-equipped. Anil was there to welcome us and show us the off-road parking etc. Lovely welcome packs of cereal, tea, coffee, milk and biscuits. Messages were answered promptly, and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended, and we would definitely stay here again.

A very welcoming and extremely clean property that was perfect for our 2 adult, 2 children family. The accommodation was very well equipped and had lots of little extras that made staying there easy and enjoyable. The hosts were really friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had a lovely stay. Parking was secure and we were less than a minute from a bus stop, making it easy to get to wherever we wanted to go.

It was a little bit noisy but no more than expected in a city location and not enough to disturb us at night.

The location was great and there were so many nice little touches around the apartment to make it feel more like home. Excellent check in service and lovely lady that runs the apartment. Very spacious and loved the little balcony to sit out on. Great that it’s got a bath in the main bathroom and nice big shower in the en suite. Gorgeous comfy living space and kitchen area. Leith is gorgeous for a change of hustle and bustle away from the city.

Only a few pointers to work on with it being a fairly new holiday rental. Apartment was red hot and needs some form of fan if we opened the windows it sounded like we were in New York City with all the traffic but this was due to the new tram lines being built so won’t always be the case. Towels could be a little bigger to cover everything up if sharing with another couple or friends. Beds need to be invested in. Although they are lovely they are very uncomfortable and low down and for a 7month pregnant guest this was agony every night. There’s a very strange smell in the corridor near the lift which isn’t very pleasant. These are minor things and we would definitely stay again for the value for money just need a better nights sleep.

This apartment is beautiful - immaculately clean (as were the communal areas of the building too, even the lift), very spacious, stylish, comfortable and the most well-equipped place we have ever stayed in. Mary and Anil met us to hand over keys and explain essentials (and a folder in the apartment also gave plenty of useful information) and were completely charming about us turning up unexpectedly early too. Garage parking was secure and very welcome. A bathroom plus an en suite was ideal for us, it meant that there were no queues for the shower in the mornings. Those little extras - milk and juice in the fridge, tea and coffee, cereals, biscuits etc, cleaning products, bathroom products, a hair dryer ...- all helped to make us feel at home. Equipment is high quality - decent kettle, oven, dishwasher etc - and furniture (including beds) is also of a high standard, comfortable and spotlessly clean. There's a selection of games, a very fancy TV with Sky, fast reliable broadband... even a pair of binoculars for viewing Calton Hill. On a nice day, the apartment is in comfortable strolling distance of the city. On a rainy day, it's only a bus ride away. There is a Tesco Extra on the ground floor of the same building, and plenty of takeaways within a very short walk. A ten minute stroll will bring you to some lovely bars and restaurants, and a few extra minutes' walking will take you to the new entertainment complex by the docks. Best thing of all though, Anil and Mary were so welcoming and personable. Book this apartment with confidence.

There's absolutely nothing for us to criticise - we were very happy here.

We had a great break in this apartment. The welcome we received was warm and we were given a great explanation of how things worked. The welcome pack in the apartment was also fantastic with lots of local information and recommendations about things to do. An added extra was the provision of milk and soft drinks in the fridge as well as teabags, sugar, cereals and a variety of snacks - a lovely surprise when we opened the fridge and the cold drinks were most welcome. We arrived on perhaps the hottest day of the year and while the apartment was hot when we arrived, we were able to get a good breeze blowing through in next to no time. The location of the apartment was great for access to the city and Leith. We were able to catch the Bright Bus tour bus at Commercial Quay and the Number 16 bus took us from town to the apartment door. There was some traffic noise in the apartment as the windows were open but this is to be expected in an apartment in they city and this did not distract from our enjoyment. In summary, a beautifully clean and decorated apartment, well equipped, and the hosts were both very welcoming and friendly. Thank you Anil and Mary.

The apartment and the hosts were both excellent. Couldn't fault a thing. The apartment was spacious, very clean and beds were super comfy after a long day. There was essentials like tea/coffee and milk, along with some juice and sweets in the apartment, which we all thought was a lovely touch.
