Beautiful setting, wonderfully decorated, perfect facilities for a relaxing group trip - large dining table and fire pit. Jack was a brilliant host 10/10, will definitely be booking again!

Beautiful place, friendly host, overall a good experience. The only improvement needed is the bathroom - The below bathroom near the kitchen is without a latch and a big gap in door. Adding a functional toilet to the upper yurt would be great. Kitchen is very beautiful however, the appliances need cleaning (oven). The camp fire was an amazing experience and was the best part.Thank you .
Jack's property is fantastic. The unique set up of the large Yurt situated above the kitchen/bathroom is fantastic. The kitchen has modern amentities such as dishwasher, two fridges and oven whilst retaining it's character that suits the charm of the property. Plenty of space for the 7 of us but we definitely could have fit more if needed. Jack made us feel welcome, helped with bags on arrival and pointed out local amenities such as a local farmshop and scenic walks. We were able to easily travel into Llandudno from the location and even found a lovely place for breakfast in Bodnant. Perfect location for two of the Zipworld's situated in North Wales. The property is the perfect mix of modern and off grid. Already recommended to others and would 100% visit again!

Comfortable to stay for few a nights! relaxing and cosy place. Good setting for gathering with group of friends. They provided towels and extra pillows ,and the kitchen has a plenty of things already when we arrived.
The host was welcoming and friendly at first HOWEVER on our first night, at midnight, all the electricity went off. We carried on sleeping thinking there’s maybe a timer for electricity. We woke up 5am for our booked activity canyoning needing hot water and heater, basically electricity. I had to message and call the host during this EMERGENCY. He walked through the door wearing only a towel, slamming and throwing things ,swearing and saying he doesn’t like being woken up at 6am and he only had 2 hours of sleep. we were all shocked and extremely scared and confused of how and why he acted like that. We couldn’t get over. we apologised and so he did too. But I’ve never encountered a host like that.
This is the most idyllic location, so beautiful and peaceful. Jack was very friendly and helpful, made sure we were all comfortable. The yurts themselves are very cosy, spacious and comfortable, and the garden setting is stunning. the communal kitchen area is what really makes this place extra special. I would definitely go back & recommend to others. It’s a very special place.

Fantastic location- a real treat sleeping in the yurts and the children loved exploring the surroundings and especially the rope swing and the fire pit! A really enjoyable stay and Jack was very friendly and helpful. Would recommend.
The host was very helpful and informative, if we needed anything he would always accommodate.
No sofa in the communal areas and no fire guards around the wood burners, children where always supervised but if they had a trip or a fall there was nothing protecting them
Ideal for a fun a relaxing stay, for group of friends or families. Immersed in nature with all the amenities to make it perfect (real kitchen and bathroom). Jack is a fantastic host, very friendly and helpful. We have been before and will be back again.

The host Jack was very welcoming. The yurts and the main building were beautiful and it was very cosy in February with the coal / wood burners running.

Very quirky. The yurts were warm and comfortable. The log burning stoves were brilliant. The kitchen is a brilliant space to gather in.
It was perfect for our group. The spiral staircase and steps outside would be difficult for anyone with any mobility issues.
Jack is amazing host and kind enough to explain things about fire , place and how to get there ! I would love to come again ! One word to describe this place is brilliance ! Very artistic
It was really quirky and exciting for the kids. Jack really has a green thumb and the kitchen was beautiful. The teenager loved the shower. Jack was very welcoming. He left the wood burner ready to light which was very appreciated. The artwork and general decoration was lovely.
garden is beautiful, and lovely for playing in, but needs a tiny bit of TLC. Small yurt a little damp.

Facilities not as clean as would have expected. Decking can be slippy in the wet. But nothing major which stopped our enjoyment.

The place is good, it has 2 Tents. The main one is connected to kitchen and bathroom while the 2nd smaller tent is around 20meters from the main one. Location is good, the host was friendly. However, I would suggest some pest control should be done in tents as we found bugs on our beds and there were spider webs on most of the places inside tents and kitchen. To be honest, it gives you the feeling of a jungle tent where insects can be a common problem. Otherwise, both tents are cosy and give feel-good vibes. Bare in mind it just has one working bathroom with water access. So if you are going with large friends and family group, then that might delay your plans. Also, the main entrance has no locks, host said its safe, but we would really prefer a lock on doors regardless it is the safest place on earth. We have kids and cannot take any chances.

The place was beautiful and exactly what we were looking for after a long bike tour of wales. Jack was a brilliant host, very friendly and he even gave us some olive oil to cook with. Legend.
nothing at all
the host was unpleasant, sarcastic and aggressive. we only booked 2 days in advance yet he kept badgering us for our arrival time. we agreed to give him an hours notice before arriving but that didn't satisfy him and he left a stroppy message saying "you still haven't told me what time you are arriving and obviously i am not going to hang around all day waiting for you". I'd also made the mistake of asking him if he could recommend a local butcher that would be open on a sunday. He sent a picture of a butcher with the opening hours on it, showing that it wasn't open on a sunday adding that we would have to bring our own coals if we wanted a bbq and our own logs for the fire pit. as i was due to arrive with five people and luggage i didn't have room for logs. i thought it odd to boast of a bbq and fire pit if the necessary items were not either provided, or available onsite. He later left another sarcastic message saying "there are other parts of the country that have butchers, we are not the only place to have them." not sure why that was necessary and was starting to regret having to deal with this bloke. you can ignore the photos. this place hasn't seen a paintbrush, lawnmower or probably even vaccuum cleaner since those were taken. we had wanted our chidlren to be free to play in the garden but it was overgrown with nettles and thorns making it an impossible place to play. inside was dusty. as we entered a cat was already inside. I asked "does the cat live here?" he picked it up and turned to me confrontationally and said 'Yes, is that a problem?" i said it was actually as i was allergic to cats and that the advert should contain a warning a cat lived here. He went back to sarcastic with "well it should be obvious as some of the pictures have animals" he decided he didn't want us to stay as we 'were going to be trouble" we glady agreed to leave.
Peaceful and secluded area, Jack the host was really helpful, provided us with local taxi numbers and couldn’t do more to help maximise our stay.
Hi I visit with my friends to stay there but very different from pictures In room too much insect and spiders make web every where and too much smelly We paid 250 but we couldn’t sleep over because bed bugs bites us I share a few pictures I recommend , location was beautiful but cottage not worth able

Jack was a fantastic host and has a beautiful home. The location is amazing and surrounded by so many things to do. The accommodation itself was comfortable and had everything we needed and more. Jack was incredibly communicative throughout our stay and helped us out with his knowledge of the area. I would highly recommend this stay to anyone!

The Yurt was amazing. Really cosy sleeping space. A spacious kitchen with all we needed. Inside shower was super. The host was really welcoming. Lovely outside space too. Would definitely visit again.
Jack is the best of hosts, the location is stunning, we've had the best time. A very peaceful and secluded place, ideal for a break far from daily life stress. We had the best stay and couldn’t have asked for better! The yurts were cosy and comfy and decorated beautifully. The barn was nice and spacious for our large group and well equipped for dinner party. The outside fire and grounds were wonderful too. A lovely weekend spent here for my friends 30th birthday. The host is lovely and is a master at making fires!! Such a cosy, quirky place to stay with lots of amenities, great location, and beautiful views.
Perfect place for a group stay! This was my second stay at Jacks yurt and will happily stay again. It's really cosy with the fires lit warming up quickly, and Jack is really generous with fuel for the fires and bonfire. Such a peaceful, secluded setting and loads of options for things to do a short drive away.

The shared living area (kitchen room) could be more comfortable. If the weather is bad, there is no comfy place to hang out together. The kitchen/dining room is big enough to host everyone and can be used to play games together, the space would benefit from a sofa bench or couches.

A truly lovely bohemian getaway. While it's a bit out in the middle of nowhere, the location is quite stunning in multiple facets: this place is nestled in the hills, there are animals all around (like owls and sheep) which you can hear and night and see during the day, and it's away from the hustle and bustle of larger towns. Nice and secluded. The yurts themselves are clean enough and provide all the amenities you could need - including wood stoves for warmth during colder nights. A great place for anyone looking to get away for a bit while also having fun in some yurts.
Fab and easygoing host (jack) and location wise a great escape to Nature with all the facilities which we expect in a dwelling. Nice walks and views . All key tourist attentions with in easy reach .
Fabulous place, highly recommend. So quirky and made a great adventure for the kids. The location was great for getting away from it all but being within easy access of places like Zip World. Jack was a wonderful host and really helped us feel welcome and have a great time.
Amazing stay, amazing host, most beautiful location and such lovely yurts!
We booked the Yurts to try something a little different and were not disappointed. The Yurts were even better in real life. The sound of the rain, birds and animals around us, the smell of the woodburners, the greenery surrounding us, all added to the experience. The firepit, swing and Rumpus the cat were highlights for the family. As cool as the Yurts were, it was Jack who made our stay exceptional. He was accommodating from start to finish. More than that, he's an inspirational human being. We left with memories for life and will be recommending the place to everyone we know.

We had a wonderful girls weekend at Hapus Yurts! The yurts were lovely and cosy with their log burners and the facilities were lovely. The kitchen was very well equipped and Jack pre-built fires for us in the log burners as well as the fire pit so all we had to do was light them in the evenings.
had a great time, clean and comfortable. we felt well looked after. Jack was always available and apologized too many times for replying instantly when I sent him a totally non urgent text late at night 😊 It was also great hearing about country living, genuinely a life to aspire to.
We had an incredible family stay in the yurts and were made to feel right at home by Jack who was a superb host and was very accommodating. I’ve stayed in a number of Airbnb’s over the years but this was without a doubt the best I’ve experienced. Would highly recommend and would love to stay again in the future.

Hapus yurts are in beautiful area of north wales and are totally in keeping with the environment. Jack, the owner, has created the whole place to a very high standard and we absolutely loved our weekend there. The beds are very comfy, there is all the cooking equipment you need, the toilets and showers are clean and of a high standard and the grounds are lovely, private and perfect for spending time in outside. We also went for some lovely walks in the area. I would totally recommend staying there and would love to return one day.
No tea towels! IF we had realised that there was no way to dry dishes, we would have brought some. Not a big issue though.
Absolutely loved our stay at Hapus Yurt. Jack was super friendly and attentive and made us feel welcome. The pictures don’t do the place justice! Have everything you need in one place and a close drive to Llandudno, Colwyn Bay and loads of walks around the area. We stayed in a group of 9 and would definitely recommend! Thank you Jack

The spiral staircase was a bit challenging for a septugenarian with dodgy hips and knees but I managed and it was worth it!

We had a fabulous time staying at the yurts. Jack is such a laid back and welcoming host and we were made to feel really at home. The whole place has been very thoughtfully and tastefully done. We (6 of us) loved our weekend at Hapus Yurt! It was so cozy, the beds were really comfy and the location is just lovely. Even during a storm the yurt stayed warm with the little coal fire. Overall a lovely break away from the busy life, would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting an escape to nature!

that Jack was kind and lovely on arrival but accused us of damaging the coffee machine after we left (we left it as we found) and I offered to pay for the full machine for courtesy but he refused it and that he spoke to me nastily on the phone. I also had to let him know that we had been identified as a contact of covid 3 days after and he was rude in his messages. Also, the floor was lethal outside and my friend fell over and the general outside upkeep was poor.
great place for big group of people who love to stay close to nature and make a lot of noice. The host is a nice guy who waited for us over 2 hours of post check in as we were late to arrive.
Hapus Yurts is a happy place, a cosy, quirky oasis in a magical hidden valley. Don't be deceived, these are more than just yurts, they have the most incredible kitchen space and indoor heated bathroom too. Every single thing you could want, Jack has thought of, you could actually live here very comfortably. Jack is an amazing host, friendly and welcoming and loads of good advice on the local area. We can't wait to return.
Great Airbnb! Jack was extremely welcoming, and gave us lots of recommendations. The accommodation is excellent. 2 huge Mongolian yurts and a very spacious common area. the burners keep the rooms plenty warm enough. Would highly recommend and will certainly stay again.
A great location ( very quiet and lots to explore nearby) and plenty of parking. The yurts are beautiful inside and are very warm. While the kitchen and living area has everything you need. It is the perfect place for groups to meet and catch up.

There isn't a lock on one of the external doors, and whilst this is in the middle of nowhere and probably safe as houses I struggled to sleep because of this.
All nine of us had a great stay at Hapus Yurt. Fantastic location to experience the attractions of North Wales by day, and a tranquil place to come back to in the evening and enjoy food and drinks around the cosy fire pit in the ‘middle of nowhere’. What a great experience the Yurts and converted Barn have to offer – will definitely be coming back. The host is most welcoming - thank you Jack!!

If you are looking for a city escape, this is perfect. Peace and quiet with all the facilities you can ask for. Not a long drive from any of the main attractions that North Wales has to offer. Staying at Hapus Yurt will really immerses you in the North Wales experience!

Jack made us feel so welcome. He was so friendly and we felt very much at home. The set up is fantastic, 2 x yurts; a large fire pit; an inside flushing toilet and a power shower and an outside composting toilet and an outside power shower. A huge expanse of woodland to explore and collect fire wood in. The kitchen was very well equipped and perfect for playing games around the big table.

Jack is a great host who has put a lot of care and attention to detail in making this amazing space. It is well equipped, beautiful designed and extremely comfortable. If you like the hippy vibe and want to get out to nature with some friends this is the place.

I cannot put into words how amazing this was. Such a beautiful setting in the middle of nowhere. The perfect place to stay if you want an inside but outside feel. Pictures do not do this place justice! Having Jack as our host made the experience even more special for us. He went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay. We will 100% be back for more adventures.
