It was a very unique property, set into a hill. The compound was fascinating with bee hives, chickens etc.
The track to the property was unmade with lots of pot holes, which wasn't ideal for my mini, but I did know about this beforehand. The location was quite remote from anything. It was quite cramped inside.

The whole character of the property was amazing! Ideal size for two people, very clean throughout. Complete facility, no microwave but nothing an oven cannot do. Very relaxing place away from the noise of the city, in fact there was an owl nestling nearby. The sauna and hot tub were perfect! Absolutely loved the entire experience! Highly recommended!

Everything! This place was a gem of a find. Unique, quirky, off the beaten track and spotlessly clean! Hot tub was brilliant and the private sauna experience was a lovely extra to our stay. The staff were so helpful and informative. They had thought of everything. Such a fab place and would highly reccomend for relaxing and re-charging!

We had a lovely weekend away from the busy city we live in . It was so peaceful and quiet. I almost felt like I went back in my childhood where I grow up at my grandparents house in my motherland. Me and my husband will definitely book again anytime we want to recharge our batteries and connect with nature. We will definitely book again with Heidi. She is a lovely host and really friendly. The house was imaculat clean. It was spotless and had everything we need inside.
Great stay in hive pod. Hot tubs great, but does burn a lot of wood to get hot so I would recommend buying extra. Pool was good but a shame about the opening hours (2x 2 hour slots). Looks nice in evening shown in listing photos, but you can’t use it after 5pm. Noticed some reviews state you can walk to the bramblewood farm shop, PLEASE DONT TRY THIS! It’s very dangerous walking along main road no footpath! All in all we had a great stay loved the birds and all the swallows flying over. Very friendly and helpful people too always on hand to accommodate your needs

Lovely weekend with our dog. Nice little haven, hot tub was a bonus and easy to use, had a lovely Indian takeaway one night and just made the most of the venue. Very warm welcome, thanks for the stay.

A fabulous private funky pod with a great wood fired hot tub that heated quickly. The host was an excellent communicator and help was at hand for anything we needed. A super private outside area too. The only downsides were that nothing bar a very good farm shop was within walking distance due to a very busy road to access the property and its distance from the local town Minster on Sea so driving to get out is necessary. The other downside was the swimming pool is shared so access is limited to 2 two hourly time slots per day which we understand why but was disappointing not to be able to use the pool on arrival after a long drive in 28* heat as the time slot has passed. It would be helpful to state this in the advert to help manage expectations (and tbf it’s rarely that hot in the UK so this won’t be disappointing for most guests). That said, we had a wonderful time and would recommend this place to other guests 🥰
This is our second stay here at the hobbit. This time we again very much enjoyed our stay. Sarah is just the best, always on hand if we ever need her no matter what time of day or night it may be. She is very prompt at her response. The only issue that has made me anxious is the fire pit. When we used this, it burnt the grass. I actually thought I would have to use the fire extinguisher. It has no paved area for the fire pit. Shame as the garden is such a beautiful area. There are alot of areas where people have previously used it to. With damage to the grass. Maybe this needs to be addressed. The hive I felt was the better pod. More spacious. Then you pay more than the honey pod. The sofa is luxurious and so comftable. Sarah pointed out there is a fly net in the little side cabinet next to the sofa this was so useful 👌 it literally velcros on the pod door. I always cook, the kitchen is fully equipped with all the extensils you need. We will definitely be back again.

Me and my wife stayed here for our wedding anniversary and I can not speak highly enough about how lovely this experience was, from the moment I booked, till when I arrived back home. Sarah and Heidi went above and beyond and were very friendly, helpful and supportive throughout. I couldn't could have asked for more from this trip It was as advertised and the surrounding area was peaceful and scenic. Recommend 100%
Fantastic stay, it was only a flying visit but the HIVE was extremely clean, supplies and extras were provided and Sarah was absolutely lovely! 😊

Beautiful little get away in a beautiful little cabin. Peaceful location, felt tranquil, lovely finishing touches, easy to follow instructions left for everything, well equipped and clean. We wanted somewhere for a quiet night away where we could shut away the world and that’s exactly what we got. The hot tub didn’t have bubbles which would have been ideal, however this did not stop us enjoying the hot tub. The internet was a little iffy but we didn’t stay for the TV or WIFI so we felt it wasn’t an issue. We will be going back!

we had a 1 night stay at the Hive and couldnt be more impressed. Looked exactly like the photo's it was so peaceful, the hot tub was soo relaxing, The Hive has everything you need , it's clean and comfortable. we will be returning for a longer stay.
Hi, I highly believe that it’s not worth the price and they are more interested in what they can make off you than your stay and experience. It’s a very awkward environment. I was shouted at by Sarah when we arrived saying ‘ get out, you cant go in there’. All because they didn’t check my payment I sent to them for my dog to come along. I made the payment with the confirmation code for easy access aswell. We was left with one toilet paper for three days, There was nothing complimentary which I’ve never experienced anywhere I’ve visited around the south of England. Anything you use you would have to pay. I even cleaned the poo before I left that was left there by the last visitors which I’ve taken pictures of and I was very quickly asked to send some money for poo when I left. I know I cleaned up after myself, We also got charged for accidentally leaving one or 2 items of my belongings which was mess in their eyes. Becareful, We were told our belongings were in the bin. Unprofessional
The hobbit house was fantastic but just to let people know the wood burning hot tub took a long time to heat on our last nite took over 2 and a half hours and was still only luke warm so we gave up but overall a lovely place to stay

The most relaxing little staycation. Heidi was a wonderful host. The space is much bigger than it looks in photos, and felt very private even with other accommodation on site, with a lovely little garden area - the hot tub was a highlight! The space was spotless and so well thought out and has all you need for a little self-catering getaway. We’ve come away feeling relaxed and reset - thank you!
Had a lovely couple of nights stay here. It was a bit more pricey than my usual picks but after seeing the photos I thought it would be the perfect place to relax for a bit. It was just as shown in the photos. A lovely, immaculate and quirky little space that had everything I needed. In quiet surroundings with a completely private garden space. It felt lovely and secluded but safe and not isolated. The outdoor hot tub/bath was definitely an experience. It took a long time to heat up but was definitely worth it. I kept it simple during my stay and had a walk along the beach (just a 5 min drive) and lunch in a local pub.

We have just enjoyed a lovely 3 night stay here. The area is quiet and picturesque and the cabin was cosy and had all the amenities we needed. The highlight was the wood fired hot tub, would recommend firefighters to get the fire going when it’s cold/wet. Heidi, our host, was excellent and provided us with everything we needed, including extra logs for the fire - within 30mins of asking they were left outside our door. Overall it was a great stay, recommended for anyone wanting a cosy/peaceful getaway from a busy city. We would happily come again!

I booked this place for me and my partner, this place offered everything we wanted, it was clean, tidy. It was cosy, the bed was comfortable the hot tub was incredible. It's a complete great value for money.
We enjoyed our stay , it was beautiful, would recommend some more signs up to let people know where to go ? As in the venue doesn’t have many signs, off information to where your going .
Really nice, quaint hut on the Isle of Sheppey. Never been before but it was really nice, the video by the host was really helpful along with her response to messages via text. The hot tub was amazing once it got going and stayed baking for ages! Shame you have to pay extra for bringing your fury friend and that is it non-refundable, this is not clear in the description as far as I could see. All-in-all it was nice and we would come again!

We had a beautiful stay here, we only stayed for one night but we wish it could of been longer. It was so peaceful and relaxing we didn’t want to leave. The kitchen had everything you needed to cook a meal. Lovely spacious bed that was very clean and neat on arrival. Tv was brilliant as you could watch Netflix and Disney plus. Hot tub was a bit of a pain to heat for us. We lighted it 4 times and it went out all 4 times but on the 5th time we managed to get it alight and kept it alight. The hot tub didn’t take long to heat once the fire was alight. We arrived around 7 so was late by the time we got in the hot tub so I would recommend arriving earlier if you are planning on getting in the hot tub. But over all an amazing and relaxing stay. Lovely host and very good in regards to communication. We will definitely be back!

This place is truly a little gem and I would say it looks better in person when you’re there, me and my wife were immediately surprised and Heidi the host is brilliant and makes you feel so welcome the minute you arrive, the hive which is what we stayed in is like a mini 5 star hotel with how clean and modern it looks. Brilliant log fire hot tub and some wooden loungers that you can’t see in the pictures that are in your own private area so you can enter the hot tub how ever you please… we will 100% come back even if just for one night for a little reset back to reality.

We loved the garden, especially the wicker basket chair, which was very relaxing to sit in. We loved the layout of the Hive pod, perfect for the two of us to stay in over the weekend. The Hive was in an ideal location and was a superb base for travelling around the Isle of Sheppey.
Myself, my partner and our baby had a lovely relaxing time here! The hot tub was amazing, make sure to light early as takes a little while to heat up. The hobbit house had everything we needed for a few nights stay. Car needed as not much around but was nice to just chill in the garden.
Lovely place to stay! 5* service Very responsive owners. Very secluded. It takes 8 mins to walk to the main road. You will need to get taxis if you want get into the nearest town as the roads do not have pavements. The farm shop nearby is walkable, but you do have to walk on the road for 25% of the journey. The pool is lovely on a warm day! It’s open from 10am - 12 and then 3-5pm The fire hottub is great. The amount of wood provided will last you 2 go’s if you’re conservative with it. You will need to bring your own kindle if there is moisture in the air as the fire if difficult to start if it’s been raining. Very peaceful and there are good dog walks nearby as it backs onto fields. Tea/coffees etc is provided. The hut is just about big enough for 2 people and a couple of dogs. Nextflix and Disney accounts are already on the Tv and the wifi is good Would definitely recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We went for my partners birthday and it was the most relaxing experience, the location, the privacy and just being one with nature! I will most definitely return and even wish I had booked longer- I usually look forward to going back home 🤣

Our hosts were very helpful - we were celebrating my girlfriends birthday and the hosts decorated the cabin for her which was much appreciated. The woodfire hot tub was easy to heat, and the cabin comes with everything you need to cook.
Lovely little hobbit hut and hot tub. Great place to stay and relax for a couple of days. Has its own enclosed garden so safe for our little dog to enjoy too. We used it as a base to explore other parts of Kent too.

The private little garden was lovely. We were lucky with the weather and able to sit outside in the sunshine making use of the egg chair and the wooden lounger chairs. The hot tub was relaxing and a welcome treat. Inside the accommodation was clean and tidy, and exactly what we needed.
Lovely break from London! The place is super nice, quiet and well kept and it has all the basics to stay in for a night. We received all the instructions for the self check-in in a video that Heidi sent it to us before the arrival. The hot tub it’s comfy and very easy to set up as well. We had a really good time, definitely recommended!
Loved our overnight stay here. We struggled with lighting the hot tub (our fault) but Heidi was on hand and sent help immediately. Would highly recommend. So lovely, peaceful and private.

We took our 6year old with us and stayed in the Hive, Such an amazing place, we loved staying in a hobbit like house, the hot tub was lovely and enjoyed relaxing in the swing chair listening to the birds. Very clean and well equipped, even more magical when getting dark with the colourful lights. We also like that's its Eco friendly and good use of recycling and nature. Very friendly and helpful hosts with great pre- stay advise on how things work via video and how to find place. Definitely recommend.

Hot tub, had warming 4 hours and was luke warm. We used what was given ro get it working and brought firelighters, it was smoking like it was working and had a flame. Came for wedding anniversary and we wanted a hot tub under the stars but only had 10 mins as it was cold. Absolutely gutted or it would of been perfect.

Instructions for heating the hot tub could have been more detailed. Tried to heat the water but only got it luke warm the first time using a full batch of logs.
I recently stayed there and had a wonderful experience! First and foremost, the host, was an amazing host! She was friendly and accommodating. She answered all my questions, was prompt in responding to my messages. The Airbnb was conveniently located and just as described in the listing. It was clean, comfortable, and I felt completely safe while staying there. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to spend a peaceful time with your partner or friends to stay there. The host went above and beyond to make sure I had a pleasant stay!

Our stay was short but very sweet - The Hive was absolutely spotless, felt very private and was in a great location. We had some trouble getting the hot tub hot enough (entirely our fault) and Heidi was incredible and came out to help us with the fire. We'd love to stay again!
