Great location, lovely cottage. Had a relaxing time staying there. The hosts were excellent and really friendly and helpful. Would recommend this place and will definitely be booking again.

Bank House Cottage is an exceptional cottage to stay at. Hosts Veronica and Alan were wonderful, giving local recommendations and ensuring that everything was perfect for our stay. The cottage itself is beautiful and has an interesting history. It was sparkling clean and had all the amenities you could ask for. We also availed of the Hot Tub which was luxurious and very relaxing. We would thoroughly recommend a stay at the cottage and hope to return in the future.

The place is fabulous, makes you feel like you're home. Perfect for a family stay at the Lake District

Lots of instructions were a little worriying and we had to ask for hair drier.

Beautiful stone cottage renovated by Alan the owner. Very well maintained and spotlessly clean. The gardens were fantastic too. Loved the chickens.

Veronica and Alan were superb hosts from start to finish. Kept in contact with everything from our original booking and there if we needed anything. Beautiful location and absolutely spotless cottage, which I would recommend to anyone wanting a lovely relaxing, peaceful time away. This property had everything and more that you would need. Veronica and Alan were also extremely kind to our two children and made them feel just as welcome as we did. Thank you!

Extremely nice location on the coast. Very nicely appointed and well equipped. Warm in the winter, nice beds and comfortable duvets. Great place to base yourself in for the region. Does have a nice hot tub on offer but we did not use it.

The bathrooms are great but the showers dont work that well - water pressure and temperature was not consistent.

Bank House Cottage was so amazing with fantastic location, so clean, comfortable and tidy. The garden has stunning views of the mountain , beach and surrounding countryside. Small farm with group of chickens and horses. Our kids really enjoyed it. Plus the hot tub which keeps us so warm on bath. Morecambe Beach, Heysham Beaches and Breakwater Beach almost half an hour from the cottage . Very close to the most beautiful spots to visit especially someone who love natural and tranquility surroundings. Veronica and Alan were incredibly warm , perfect and hospitable host. Giving us an in person welcome. Plus provided the invaluable assistance and advice. So accommodating. Pretty sure we’re will come again soon.

The property is in a stunning location overlooking fields and the sea. The cottage was very clean, comfortable, and homely. We received a lovely welcome from Veronica on arrival, and tips on places to visit in the area. We did not use the hot tub due to our busy schedule, but it looked inviting and in a great location. If the weather was better, and we weren’t so busy, we would have spent a few hours each day in the hot tub.

Veronica & Alan were very friendly. The views and watching the owls. The property was comfortable and clean.

The sofa bed was uncomfortable.

Für Paare und Familien, die Entspannung suchen. Unbedingt empfehlenswert: "hot tub" zusätzlich bei den sehr netten Gastgebern Veronica & Allen buchen.

We had a really nice stay, and Veronica and Alan looked after us really well.

The property was spacious, exceptionally well clean and inviting. The beds were really comfortable and the hot tub was great. The property is located in beautiful surroundings, wonderfully peaceful and serene. The owners of Bank House were amazing, couldn’t ask for better hosts, they were warm and welcoming and made you feel at home as soon as you arrived, so much so that we have already booked our return trip in January.

There was nothing at all that we didn’t like about the property.

Bank House is a beautifully built and well maintained property. Really quiet, peaceful and scenic location. Hosts Veronica and Alan could not have been nicer. Would definitely recommend for a quiet break away.

Bedrooms and one bathroom slightly small but otherwise the property is lovely.

Smaller bed that is not a four poster for main bedroom.Not having pillow protectors on the pillows and the mattress protector not being washed between guests.

.The cottage is immaculately clean and beds are comfortable to sleep on. The hot tub is a fantastic bonus. The coastal walk is great, a little rugged. The hosts Veronica and Alan were most helpful and kind. I would most definitely come over and stay again. Thankyou Veronica and Alan what a fab place...

Hosts were so accommodating and friendly and the cottage was immaculate. Had the lovely surprise of being able to pet and feed the horses right outside the cottage and the views from the hot tub were just stunning. The beach is a short walk away and the quality of the food you can takeaway from the local pub/restaurant was great.

Absolutely beautiful cottage, had an amazing time there, so peaceful and surrounded by countryside with the sea on your doorstep. Hosts were wonderful and very accommodating. Would definitely stay there again.

We received a lovely welcome from Veronica and Alan, and they explained how they have changed the way they operate due to the pandemic, and what we needed to be aware of to comply. The cottage has an excellent well equipped kitchen with an American style fridge freezer and a rangemaster cooker, all relatively new. It was exceptionally clean throughout. We were provided with plenty of information regarding the local area and crucially where to get the best ice cream! We thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property. We hope to return in the near future.
