The Howff - Lovely 2-Bed Apartment in Anstruther

Great modern property in a great location. Own parking also a bonus! It was so clean & cosy, ideal for our short stay. I would definitely come back.

My only slight negative comment is the check in & check out times. Check in was 4pm which felt a little late and check out was 10am.

Location and secure parking was great. Short distance to walk for food & drink. The house was very cosy and well decorated, loved the extra touch of the Christmas tree. Would go back.

The accommodation was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. A short drive from St Andrews. Three fish and chip shops to choose from in Anstruther , all short listed fir awards too.

Parking on site. Clean and warm. Gorgeous decor and on ground floor, I was on holiday with my mam who is in her 70's. Great for St Andrews. In a quiet residential area. Great instructions from Alan.

Beautiful apartment. Very comfortable. Quiet location near the harbour. Has everything you need. Furnished to a very high standard.

Lovely flat, looks great, comfortable, and with everything we needed. We were attending a wedding at the town hall, so the location couldn't have been better - and only a short walk to the harbour. Check in was easy, and Alan replied to a query after check out quickly and helpfully. Would highly recommend.

Everything was superb. A truly amazing holiday home- gorgeous and fab location. We loved it and can't wait to return.

Well stocked kitchen with every utensil you will ever need, coffee machine, huge fridge freezer, dishwasher. Off road parking. Could not fault anything about this apartment. Clean,Cosy and had everything you required. Nice and warm on arrival. Was great for the seafront, Cafes, shops all within walking distance. Pet friendly which our two Labrador retrievers felt right at home. Try out the Bank bar if you have young kids as there is a pool table and staff are very nice. Kids allowed until 8pm. Plus many other things to do! The sea on our stay was slightly stormy which was great seeing the waves smash over the harbor walls. We will return for sure!

Check out time was 10Am which we feel could have been at least 11Am. As getting two young kids ready in the morning plus trying to leave the apartment the way we received it was tight. Cleaner came at 10:15Am on the ball. We were only 15 mins late departing as we were busy Vacuum cleaning.

Fantastic location and property. It was even better than expected, beautifully presented and decorated, lots of space and felt right at home. Just a few mins walk to Anstruther Harbour, shops and restaurants.

Very comfortable, well appointed 2 bedroom apartment with private parking adjacent in reasonably central location in Anstruther within easy walking distance of cafes, restaurants, pubs, shops. Also good location for travelling to various golf courses around Fife and St Andrews. Simple to gain access.

Location was perfect, short walk to harbour and local shops and short drives to villages nearby. Flat was clean, modern and a well equipped kitchen.

Bedroom sizes are quite neat, made smaller by having to pile all the pillows at the side. In the middle of summer a lighter duvet would have been much better. Mattresses not the comfiest, felt like a waterbed. Although bathroom is lovely shower quite slippy and could do with a bath mat or increased non-slip surface.

The Howff is an excellent 5* accommodation. The apartment is beautifully decorated, with the high spec fixtures and fittings, kitchen, bathrooms and spotlessly clean. It provides everything one may need and more. It is very conveniently located in a quit street, but only few minutes' walk from the coast, shops and restaurants. We have very much enjoyed staying in The Howff, would certainly stay there again an are happy to recommend it.

How central and convenient the location was and how comfortable the property was.

The owner txt me the key access code in advance so entry to The Howf was very easy. The property is exceptional! Thoughtfully decorated, comfortably warm, amazingly well appointed with lovely furniture, TV & wi-fi. The kitchen has every mod con & every utensil you may need. The bathroom was excellent with a lovely large shower. Both bedrooms were perfect with comfortable beds. Everything about the Howf was exceptional!

Situated in a very quiet street, yet close to shops and coast - easy walking distance for all. It seemed as though the entire property had been newly refurbished, with beautiful, tasteful decoration all in perfect order. The whole property was spotlessly clean and extremely well-appointed. Private parking in a residential street was also a boon. This place was a real find and we'd love to return sometime.

Clean, fresh decor, well stocked with everything we needed, like coffee, dishwashing liquid and toiletries. Really useful having a parking space, and only a minute or two to walk to town. Loved it!

We couldn’t open the windows (perhaps it was us!) so the house got a little stuffy.

Great location, spacious, very clean and comfortable. very well equipped kitchen with large fridge/freezer, even had a laundry with washing machine. secure wifi, off street parking and very quiet location. Comfortable lounge/dining room with large tv.

Towels were left in shower from previous guests. Clean towels were on our bed so it was a bit confusing. If second bedroom had been made up we would have chosen it as it was a bit bigger.
