8 berth caravan at manor park hunstanton free wifi

The host was reasonable and refunded us for our issues .The location of the caravan is in a nice part of the site not too close to the reception

The caravan states it is for 8 people yes 8 people can sleep in here however there is not enough room for 8. Only 6 seats to watch tv and only 4 to eat at the table. The caravan only has 1 toilet which is very hard to flush . The caravan is meant to be a family accommodation accepting children but it was not the best for young children with a broken step to get into the caravan a toilet they arnt able to flush broken cupboards and curtain rails.

during our one full day at the caravan the gas ran out, we had not heating or hot water for about 3 hours. We had to scrap our plans for the day as we had to wait in for the gas bottle to be replaced and the boiler checked. shower was very poor, ok if you were very small! beds were uncomfortable too

Site was clean and tidy. Staff were friendly and helpful. Owner responded quickly to messages and did try to resolve issues during our stay.

Caravan is looking tired and dated compared to the photos in the listing. We had no hot water for at least half of our stay because the gas bottle had run out and no one had realised. The host did send someone out straight away but surely gas should be checked before guests arrive to avoid this? It took a long time for the replacement to arrive and boiler be reset which ruined our plans for the day. Facilities were poor - stated toiletries provided but these were soap and a toilet roll, no oven glove in the kitchen, oven didn't work, dishwasher didn't clean the dishes, no guide to explain how to work things or how to check out etc. Crockery in the cupboards was dirty. Wifi was intermittent. Door was very difficult to lock and unlock. Single beds in 2 of the bedrooms really only suitable for children - very small and not very comfortable Many of these issues have been reported before in previous reviews from several months ago but evidently have not been addressed. Overall disappointing.

Lovely location. Plenty of wildlife around the caravan. Closeness to beach and arcade. Would come again.

There were bed bug. My family and I woke up covered in bites. We messaged the property to tell them but they haven’t even had the decently to reply. On top of the bed bugs the caravan itself is really grubby.

Nice to have the linen and towels provided.

Not enough seating for the family to sit around the table. Would have preferred an extra toilet. The fact that to join entertainment/ restaurant/pool we had to pay £17 for each person (6) so was a hefty supplement . I understand that owners are given 10 passes to distribute.

To enjoy the park all private caravan hires have to pay to use park facilities. The clubhouse had to buy passes just to enter or buy drinks from the onsite bar if booked through park comes included that I find unfair

Oven didn’t work, no light in shower room, door was really hard to lock, no umbrella for seating outside, blind in toilet broken, beds very uncomfortable

Free WiFi is not existent. We were refunded some money to enable us to buy Parkdeans WiFi which was fine. Double bed mattress was awful, but we were quickly given a topper which rectified the situation.

I ended up in a different caravan to the one booked due to a boiler issue, it was a bit dusty but all good for one night. Communication was good, facilities at the park food not seem to be totally up and running but fine for us as we didn’t have time to use them. We would love to come back in the summer.

Thank you so much for such a great stay in Sunny Hunstanton (it actually rained for days!) the caravan was absolutely beautiful, pristine clean, modern, comfortable and the best we have stayed in. Lovely little touches like tea bags and coffee and mini shampoo and conditioners. Clean and fresh comfy bedding, lovely and warm and easy to use heating instructions. Lovely area, and fantastic club house and pool. We will 100% stay again.

The caravan accommodation could do with a deep clean, there are areas which are being overlooked, like the runner at the bottom of the shower screen & on the outside of the screen. The radiators need a good dusting all over. one of the worst things we found was, the saucepans & Frying pan, were not fit to put food in, I feel they need replacing. I needed to message the host as the instructions for the wi-fi were not clear, when we did get connected, it so slow, she said its like this in a lot of places in Norfolk. we could not get the grill to stay lit, she said hold button for 10 seconds, there needs to be more instructions on how to use certain items. one thing we discovered in the evening, the toilet light did not turn, it turns out that she knew & a special bulb had been ordered, but we hadn't been told, she apologised. overall it was a nice peaceful plot but, me & my partner were saying it was not worth £136 for 1 night, this was Easter Monday, should have been £80-£90.

Giod standard of caravan with a good heating system and spacious. Clean bedding and additional amenities such as cutlery and games.

We have rented a caravan owned by Alison before which was great. Sadly this caravan did not meet expectations. The caravan is tired and needs a thorough clean and decoration, marks on walls, thick dust on radiators. Bed linen old and some beds had not been changed on arrival. Lots of human hair. Fridge and freezer dirty. Shower room dirty. We did report the lack Of cleanliness and someone came to the caravan quite quickly and offered to change the bedsheets. By this time. We had already cleaned the bathroom fridge and freezer. There was no cleaning products or equipment in the caravan. . Alison was very apologetic and provided a small partial refund. The wifi router did not work and there was no internet signal.

Wonderful host, super responsive and she also gave very clear instructions. The price was listed as an error but the host honoured a price of less than half what it would be listed at, for that price we were very happy. All in all a very good stay.

Nice easy base for a quick day's birding on the Norfolk Coast—nothing fancy, but nice and easy.

The caravan was ideal for what we needed.

Host was lovely and went above and beyond to accommodate us and were very helpful with any queries I had. Location of site is fab. Walkable to the beach and town. Caravan facilities were fab. Will rebook.

Last minute break between Christmas and New Year to get some Norfolk air. The caravan was in a good location and had everything we wanted.

We had a lovely short stay here and would definitely stay again. Ample room for the four adults and one dog and there was everything that we needed in the kitchen/ living area too.

Lovely caravan. Exceptionally clean and well appointed. Great communication both before and during the stay.
