Charming 5-Beds Caravan in beautiful Seton Sands

We liked the place and the host is very cooperative.

The location and accommodation is amazing. We only had a little trouble finding the correct home as we got late to checkin and the lighting low. The accommodation was really clean from the inside and host turned on the heating before we got there so it was really nice to go in a warm home. But outside, it could use a little cleaning up. Rest is really good. Would definitely visit again.

BLACK MOULD WARNING! Absolutely worst experience ever with an Airbnb. After nearly 10 hrs drive we arrived at 10 pm, noticed a musty smell but were so tired we let it go and got beds ready. We found black mould behind the beds and along the ceiling in the bedrooms, above the windows and on floor in bathrooms. It was horrible! We couldn't safely stay there! I msgd the host who didn't respond till the next afternoon and said they would clean it if we still wanted to stay. She said all other guests were happy, like I was insulting them by pointing out the mould and refusing to stay. Other guests probably went home sick and didn't know why. BM needs treated not cleaned. It can't be wiped down and painted over! Which it was in some places. It is toxic and very dangerous to your health and requires professional treatment. I called Airbnb for help as we desperately needed a place to stay. I msgd a couple hosts and one responded at 2 am thankfully allowing us to check in at 2:30 am.

Great caravan but needs abit of TLC especially in the two back rooms where there is a bit of dampness probably due to the guttering being block and the overgrowth of trees behind the caravan also shower can do with being updated just a few things that would make the stay at the caravan alot better Caravan park can do with updating been to previous haven sites and this has got to be the most run down looking one

The toilet light wasn’t working, we have to shower in dark for the whole stay. But the host was very helpful, he came to the place on second day to help with the Wi-Fi.

first of all a very big thanks to Janet for being a super host. we were 6 adults and 1 infant and felt this place like home. absolutely 💯 % satisfaction. no complaints no moans. saw with eyes whatever were Shawn in the discretion. worth paying the amount. we all had a fun and made a beautiful memories of the tour. thanks again for being a great host. 1010 from all of us.

Lovely clean Caravan with very accommodating host. Close to beach and all other amenities Lovely comfortable beds. Well equipped, Some concerns on arrival although host helped resolve these quickly.

No sea view as per description😢 Toilet too close to radiator, needed to turn heating off in bathroom so you didn't burn bum 😁 Other toilet seat broken so unable to use instead.😢 No information in caravan about the site itself.

This is one of the best caravans that we have stayed at. Looking larger than others, its brilliant living room is partially separated from the rest of the caravan by a wall, which makes it much easier for people to focus on their own business. The shower is warm and strong. The outside area is also unique. To find this caravan, simply turn right after passing through the gate and you will see a sign shortly.

Accommodation as described, good communication within each reach to Edinburgh city centre

Clean and well situated. Bedding clean. Cosy fire. Nice veranda. 3 bedrooms which was nice as kids had their own rooms. The host is very responsive to emails/ questions.

Not all beds made on arrival and hoover was left in hallway, not enough tableware (bowl’s especially and no childrens plates, bowls, cutlery), very cramped bedrooms, barely space to move. Tap in the bathroom didnt work. Caravan has been well used and is getting rather dated. No information at all on arrival on amenities or nearby attractions or info about the Haven resort, we had to go to reception to ask. Despite this the kids loved it and was all we needed really for our 4 nights away. We have been to this resort before and stayed in a beautiful modern caravan but it was double the price- so as they say you get what you pay for!

I liked how the caravan was in a quiet area yes we heard trains and airplanes but that didn't bother us. I will be definitely be booking back with the host. She was aboustly amazing with everything. It was amazing sitting out at night in the quiet and morning listing to the birds. A really nice chilled relaxing weekend.

Wohnung war sehr ordentlich und sauber. Küche war vorhanden und gut ausgestattet. Man könnte es sich dort gemütlich machen. Schlafzimmer sind teilweise etwas eng gewesen und die Betten etwas klein. Alles in allem aber eine sehr schöne Unterkunft.

El alojamiento es muy agradable, en una zona muy bonita. Janet ha estado pendiente de nosotros en todo momento. Sin duda, volvería a repetir!

Great value option for a family base - for day trips into Edinburgh.

Nice and comfortable caravan, located in a quiet part of the holiday village, with own parking spot on a doorstep. The village has some entertainment, couple of eateries and a mini supermarket. The city bus stops just outside village entrance (5 min walk from the caravan) and takes you to the downtown, although it will take you an hour to get there :-) Nevertheless we appreciated this opportunity to leave the car and go explore Edinburgh with a double decker.

Would be nice to have more advance information on check-in process and also in the caravan to have some user guide to using appliances (e.g. the heater and electric fireplace) and on how to check-out. Also there is no Wi-Fi, which I know was not advertised, but nevertheless in this day and age should be a must for any decent place. Especially in this case, since cellular data coverage in the caravan was rather poor.

Het was niet schoon. Bij binnenkomst dachten we van wel want het rook naar schoonmaakmiddel maar overal lag stof, vieze keukenkastjes, gasfornuis en afzuigkap. De afvoer in de keuken liep niet door, de kraan in de aparte wc deed net helemaal niet en beide toilet brillen zaten los, een keukenstoel begaf het maar was al een aantal keer gerepareerd met we. Aantal schroeven. Kortom, allerlei achterstallig onderhoud. Het park waar de caravan staat, Haven, heeft belachelijke regels. Je mag alleen gebruik maken van de faciliteiten en entertainment als je een pas van minimaal 3 dagen koopt en dan mag je alleen “gratis” zwemmen en naar de show. Voor bijna alle andere activiteiten moet je nog extra betalen. £5 om te mogen knutselen. 😳

Lovely, clean and modern caravan, located in a quiet cul de sac of the site. Close to the entrance and amenities. I loved the surrounding trees and birds singing. Communication with the owner was good. We had a great time with the Grandkids who loved the kids entertainment in the Showbar, and the pedal karts.

Nothing negative to say really, we had a lovely wee holiday.

The host was very considerate and knowledgeable on the local area. She was very approachable for advice and gave us advice on local buses. The layout was perfect for us and very spacious for a family of 5. The site was immaculate and well laid out too.

Lovely, cozy static home, we felt right at home. Host has been incredibly helpful with recommendations for local attractions. Great place to stay, we’ll be back in the summer!

Great location, well laid out, heating and hot water worked well.

Unfortunately it wasn't clean at all and obviously hadn't been cleaned after the last guests left. Dirty sink, stains on bed sheets, dust everywhere, dirty freezer with previous guests food still in it. Check in/access instructions not clear.

NICE PLACE FOR A FAMILY STAY

Lovely comfy caravan, just on the John Muir way. We were going east to west and it was a perfect stop between North Berwick and Edinburgh.

This is an excellent stay. I never met the host but she was very kind over the phone and communication was great. Great for anyone who wants to be near Edinburgh but is alright making the one hour train journey, and anyone who is okay without wifi for a few days (we were alright with it though).
