Good Location to tour Ardnamurchan. Quiet . Local community shop up the road. Hosts helped with a personal problem .

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt! Die Ferienwohnung ist liebevoll eingerichtet und gut ausgestattet - zudem war die Wohnung vergleichsweise groß und bestand aus 2 Ebenen. Wenn man einen ruhigen und erholsamen Urlaub verbringen möchte ist man dort genau richtig!

Die Wassertemperatur beim Duschen war schwierig zu regulieren und wir hatten des Öfteren kaltes Wasser - Steve hatte dies zu Anfang allerdings erklärt und hat seine Hilfe angeboten.

Location was perfect and the accommodation itself had everything you needed and more. The hosts were really friendly and Steve gave some local tips on where to visit.

Loved everything! The architecture, decor, layout and furnishings were just wonderful. Lots of quirky items but all with a purpose and reason behind their inclusion. Even though the weather wasn't great, the natural lighting from top to bottom and throughout was simply marvellous. Amazing views from balcony and every window. All rooms very spacious and comfortable. A perfect home from home. Everything functioned as it should. Kitchen was incredibly well thought out and we didn't want for anything when we cooked ourselves the odd meal. Location is just fabulous with amazing seaside views and local amenities nearby. Our hosts were wonderful from the moment we booked, answering all communications quickly. We didn't get the chance to explore more or try their workshop. But we will the next time we are visiting family who aren't too far. A unique find and so glad we booked.

Not applicable. So what if the shower wasn't powerful, or the WiFi was temperamental? Everything else just helped put it all into perspective.

Great location, excellent hosts. Sitting out on the balcony listening to the bird song was a huge bonus for us.

It was a home away from home. A very peaceful setting and a good location for visiting the area. Very cosy, especially when the gas fire (which looked like an old coal fire) was on. Kitchen had everything you needed for cooking. There was no washing machine but our hosts offered the use of their washing machine if we had washing to be done. Bed was comfortable and although cold to get in to initially it didn’t take long to warm up, especially with the lovely comforter on the bed for added warmth. Good storage too. Our hosts Slim and Nicky were so lovely and nothing was too much trouble, they were so welcoming and helpful.

A more powerful shower would have been nice but I guess good for the environment.

Great location for exploring Ardnamurchan. Steve was very friendly and helpful and the apartment was equipped with all that we needed for our stay.

Nothing to add that Steve can change. But note that the Corran Ferry is out of order which makes it a long way round when coming from the south of Scotland.

Absolutely everything was perfect. The location was delightful and Slim and Nicky couldn’t have been more accommodating.

Our stay was too short

Wonderful views and location. The Tower is a great escape from everyday stresses. Well equipped kitchen and comfy lounge make for a relaxing break. Big bathroom and comfortable bed complete the facilities.

Friendly welcome....made us feel at home. Owners create a lovely ambiance.

Lovely and comfortable apartment. Great views over the loch from the balcony. Nice personal touches on arrival - wee dram, biscuits for the humans and the dogs. Well equipped kitchen and cozy interior.

Steve & his family were lovely, very friendly and so welcoming. Our little one loved their Shetland ponies and when he left one of his cars there, Steve very kindly posted it back to us.

We booked it quickly due to limited options and our schedule so we weren’t really aware we’d be staying in an annex to someone’s family home. That could’ve been clearer but as it turned out, they were lovely so it wasn’t an issue. Otherwise, no issues. It’s a nice place in a lovely, peaceful location.

The house was very comfortable with everything we needed from kitchen equipment to a lovely upstairs lounge, dining area and kitchen. It also had a balcony, however, due to very poor weather we couldn't use it. The view of the Loch and woodland are beautiful. The whole area is also lovely and very quiet. We managed to visit the most westerly part of Great Britain which is very impressive. The owners are very friendly and approachable and very interesting to talk to.

The weather was awful most of the time with not much to do when it was raining.

Easily found. Handy hotel with good food.. Good location. Facilities are very good. Handyfor water activities in calm sea inlet. Good facilities.

All was good

Steve was a really friendly host who gave us good advance information. The lodge is very comfortable, well equipped and incredibly well supplied with books, games, CDs and DVDs if the weather keeps you in. It's in very peaceful surroundings. We would happily stay there again and for longer than the two nights we'd booked.

No fault to find.

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful, comfy, well equipped lodge in Salen. The hosts were really friendly and ensured we had everything we needed and even set up a cot for our wee one. Theres a great pub with good food, 2 minutes walk from the lodge and the lodge itself is in a great location for exploring Ardnamurchan. Highly recommended.

Great location, easy distances to all the beautiful beaches etc; fantastic balcony with view on Loch Sunart; very comfortable, great facilities, everything you could want for a holiday stay; in a lovely peaceful spot.

Brilliant location for walking, kayaking, wildlife and walking. There is a local shop and Salen Hotel (great food) in easy walking distance. The Tower provides great views over Loch Sunart and access to the loch is at the end of the road. Some great kayaking, walking and wildlife/nature venues are just short distance from The Tower. The Tower is lovely - very comfortable and well equipped.

Lovely place to stay and excellent location. The hosts are very gracious and helpful, making sure you're comfortable and happy. They also know the area very well and can tell you all the best places to explore. We had a wonderful time staying here. The cute shetland ponies are a huge bonus!

Fantastic place to stay. The Tower has everything you need for a peaceful break away, very comfortable, welcoming hosts and stunning scenery. Only sad we couldn’t stay longer, and hope to return at some point.
