Gorgeous cottage, beautifully decorated and very well equipped.

We have stayed at many airbnbs and this was our unanimous all time favorite! It was quaint, comfortable, and decorated so stylishly. We enjoyed the amenities, it had everything we needed to cook meals there and wash our clothes. We played cards in the warm cozy living room. We walked to Edinbane Inn for dinner 2 nights and it was excellent, it was nice to be walking distance to somewhere so good! The location was also convenient to explore Skye, after visiting Portree which was 15 min away, we were glad we stayed here instead because it was so much cuter. If we ever come back or know someone who is visiting Skye we would absolutely stay here again.

You could not wish for a better equipped, more warm and welcoming cottage. The location is brilliant for seeing the island and Liz the host was helpful and easy to contact.

Handy quiet and beautiful location by a stream. A great base for looking about Skye. Lovely pub with excellent meals very close. The house itself had an incredibly well stocked kitchen and there was everything you could need in the house. It was well maintained and very clean. Liz was an attentive helpful host.

We had an amazing stay at Liz’s cottage. Very quaint and charming. My family and I felt right at home. Very spacious kitchen. Comfortable beds. Space was very clean. Best AirBnB we’ve stayed at in our opinion. Liz was very welcoming and helpful.

Lovely stay on Isle of Skye!

Es war eine ideale Unterkunft für 4 Personen. Die Lage ist gut, um den Norden der Insel zu erkunden. Die Einrichtung ist gemütlich, die Küche optimal ausgestattet und die Gastgeberin ist sehr freundlich.

Ideally located for driving to Skye’s attractions and for walking to dinner. The house is well-equipped for meals at home and is so cozy. Liz was a wonderful host.

No real issues with the property. We had to park in a lot beside the property but that was not a problem for us.

My family and I had a wonderful stay in this cottage. It was really cozy and we loved the decor! It was also quite clean and well kept. The cottage has a wonderful kitchen, but if you want to eat out, Edinbane Inn is just a very short walk away, which is quite convenient. Liz was also really helpful when doing the check in and provided all the information we needed to make ourselves at home. 10/10

This was one of my favorite places we stayed. We had such an amazing time here. I love that we got a small chat with the owners, and we had so much of what we needed here. We had a fantastic time cooking and hanging about the kitchen.

One of the best air bnbs we have ever stayed in. Liz and Calum have made this quaint property into a warm and welcoming space with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Tasteful decor, comfy beds, well equipped kitchen and laundry and lots of great local recommendations. Our stay on the Isle of Skye was a highlight of our 1 mth trip around the UK and coming home to this lovely property at the end of each day was the icing on the cake. Don’t hesitate to book!

We had an amazing time staying in Edinbane. The cottage more than met our expectations. Liz was very welcoming and always available if we needed help. We are already trying to see when we will come back.

Although it is a little out of the way, this cottage was an absolute GEM! Amazing value for money, absolutely immaculate, beautifully decorated, so cozy and had everything we possibly needed and more. I would definitely stay here again. The host, Liz, was very accommodating. We had the perfect girls trip on the Isle of Skye and it was so nice to come back to a beautiful home at the end of each day.

I would say it's slightly out of the way, in terms of getting around the island, but I loved our little area. I would definitely recommend booking restaurants upfront and expect to drive, as there isn't much choice in Edibane itself.

A wonderful place to stay - lovely setting and beautifully fitted out. Liz is very welcoming, her tips and instructions for the neighbourhood were perfect and the snacks basket she left was really thoughtful (& yummy!) I would recommend without hesitation to anyone visiting Skye

This place is really convenient for travelling around Skye, and it has 2 good restaurants which are walking distance- Edinbane lodge and Inn. The cottage itself is very lovely, well equipped, warm and comfortable. Liz, the host, was very responsive, friendly and made sure we had a comfortable stay.

The accommodations was PERFECT! Everything you need is here. Right in the middle between poetry and Dunvegan. 10 minutes and either direction. Such a quiet, tranquil place to stay.

Das Haus (historisches Reihenendhaus mit eigener Zufahrt und persönlicher Grünfläche) ist ein kleiner nostalgischer Traum. Erdgeschoss mit toller offener Küche und Essbereich. Angeschlossen ein separates gemütliches Wohnzimmer im englischen Stil. Im Obergeschoss zwei Schlafzimmern und eine Dusche/Toilette. Sehr nette und zuvorkommende Vermieterin. Sehr nette Kommunikation. Beide Daumen nach oben. Die Unterkunft kann man nur empfehlen!

Fantastic stay in a beautiful cottage. We instantly felt at home. The cottage was tastefully decorated, had everything you could need and was warm and cosy. It was also in a great location for our visit to Skye. The owner was incredibly helpful and we can’t thank her and her son enough for their help when we had a problem with our hire car. If we travel to Skye again we will be back! Thank you for everything.

Unser Aufenthalt bei Liz war wunderbar. Das Haus ist ein Traum, bestens ausgestattet und bis ins letzte Detail (z. B. die Farbe der Handtücher oder die Bilder an den Wänden) designt. Wir haben uns hier wirklich sehr wohl gefühlt. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es in Portree, kochen ist dank der hervorragend Küchenausstattung kein Problem. Wer mit Kindern reist, freut sich über den schönen Spielplatz, der in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Haus liegt. Dunvegan Castle, Old Man of Storr und Fairy Glen sind mit dem Auto gut &schnell erreichbare Ausflugsziele.

Lovely cottage stay in Edinbane. Spacious, with modern amenities and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was very friendly and helpful with our late night checkin. Great to have a washing machine also. Would definitely recommend as a base for exploring the Isle of Skye.

Tolle Betreuung bereits vorab mit Tipps zu Restaurantbesuchen (wir waren 2 x im Edinbane Inn und jeweils sehr zufrieden!). Für uns war die Waschmaschine der ursprüngliche Auswahlgrund. Waren begeistert von Küchenausstattung und Wohnzimmer (Reiseführer, Spiele). Ideale Lage auf Skye für Rundfahrten in jedwede Richtung.

We loved our stay! The house is beautifully restored and decorated, and has everything we needed and more for a comfortable stay with our two young kids, right down to homemade shortbread. Liz popped over to say hi after we arrived and make sure we had everything we needed, and gave us great suggestions on what to do and where to eat in the area. Wonderful beds, kitchen facilities, shower, and garden area, steps from a great playground and two outstanding restaurant options, and very well located for activities across the north of Skye, from Neist Point to the Fairy Glen and other Trotternish Peninsula sights. Would 100% stay here again.

This charming cottage was the perfect spot for our visit to Skye. Easy to access various parts of the island, kitchen had everything we needed to cook up a meal when we wanted, coffee on hand, washer was helpful to have to do some laundry, shower was hot and bed was incredibly comfy. The whole place was very clean and cozy, well decorated, and felt like home to us. Wifi worked great and loved the electric fireplace in the living room. Quaint views from all the windows! Liz had wonderful recommendations - a few restaurants just a short walk from the house. Plus, a stop at Edinbane Pottery is a must!

The place was perfect for our family of four. Quiet and a great home base to explore the island. We would recommend purchasing any food you plan to eat/cook ahead of time to save a drive back into town to the store. Host was responsive and easy to get in touch with. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved everything about this place! We were delayed in checking in and Liz was still helpful. We loved the location, the house - everything was exceptional. We would love to go back one day!

Liz was so accommodating and flexible with our delayed flight and arrival. She came over to the house as soon as we arrived to make sure we were all checked in ok and to see if we had any questions or needed help with the heat, electrics, etc. All of her recommendations were very helpful, especially the one to book dinner days if not a week before arrival as there are only two restaurants in the area - one fairly pricy. The house is so cute and beautifully decorated - we felt so cozy and at home. I would 100% stay here again and have already recommended it to anyone of my friends/family looking to visit Isle of Skye.

Beautiful house in a beautiful location. Incredibly relaxing vibes. Kitchen is great to cook in. Huge walk-in shower with excellent water pressure! Also very hot water :) Warm and cosy with the most comfy beds and linen. Great wi-fi and Smart TV apps too in the very cosy living room. Great walks are also close by, right out of the front door.

Had the best stay in this wonderful cottage. Very helpful host who went the extra mile with personal touches. Didn’t want to leave.

This is an absolute gem! Spotless and gorgeous!! Everything about this charming place is perfect! Lovely decor and thoughtful details like coffee / tea and shortbread cookies!! The location is smack in yen middle of this tiny village and ideal if you’re going for dinner at the amazing Lodge! Our hostess went above and beyond when I got into a pickle with a lost iPhone! Highly recommend this wonderful place!

Tastefully refurbished cottage. Very well equipped kitchen and baths..Exceptionally clean and everything in right places and easy to use. Wish we stayed longer to enjoy the house and garden.If ever we come to this part of the region, this will be my main ABNB to choose. Every family should enjoy this cottage.

It is one of the nicest places in Skye. The house is simply amazing and Liz is super nice.

We loved absolutely everything about No 4 Old Post office row. It’s impeccably decorated and well kept. Everything is super high quality in the house. Adorable garden, privacy, cozy, washing machine was awesome to have on a trip. Super high quality hair dryers. Can’t say enough about how cute it’s decorated. We all agreed we’d happily live there. Liz was quickly responsive and fun to chat with. I’m definitely telling friends about this place, and would stay again in a heart beat if we come back to Skye.

There was nothing to find fault with at the Old Post Office. A lovely lady came to greet us and check we had all we needed. All facilites were of the highest standard and everything was immaculately clean. It's in a beautiful location, you can hear the river from the house. For the quality I think it represents good value for 4 adults (about £50 each per night).

A magical place to stay! Liz has created the perfect Scottish cottage - charming decor, every amenity you could want, and the location is amazing. Plus, it’s so clean I think you can eat off the floors. From the cottage, you can walk to two great restaurants as well as the Edinbane Pottery shop. Edinbane is a perfect central point for Day trips to Neist Lighthouse, Fairy Glenn, Uig, The Fairy Pools, and Portree. The best Airbnb we have ever stayed in!

This is the ideal spot for what you dream Skye and Scotland will be like. Liz is amazing. The setting and style of this beautiful stay is perfect.

Perfect recently redone cottage feels like stepping back in time with all the modern conveniences and decor. Beds are very comfortable, amenities galore, and a wonderful host! Also, there is ample space to relax, dine and enjoy the rainy weather! Wouldn’t change one single thing.

Best place we ever stayed over during our trips....it has become our dream retirement house for the future! We will buy the house off if we can ! XD
