Immaculate 2-Bed loft, St Ives 2 min from beach

The location was truly excellent couldnt wish for better. However the lack of a working television, the oven interior was not clean the racks were covered in oil, and my husband who is a chef said due to the rust element in the microwave it was much better not to use it at all. Having said that i would stay there again purely for the location and the Cornish Deli below.

P[ease see above re the television which we did contact try to solve with Josh but he didnt really help much at all and his final email said he had run out of options but would stand us a round at a local pub not really what we needed. Also as above oven and microwave, washer was excellent and a real bonus.Beautiful

The space was a really nice loft apartment which was really central. Had most things we needed.

Mattresses, and one in particular, were too soft. Duvets we’re summer lightweight duvets and it was cold at night with only one extra thin blanket for each bedroom. Bathroom could have been a bit cleaner, with sone mound between tiles. The smoke alarm went off in the kitchen and it was a result of m the oven, on which some (presumably industrial) cleaning product had been used because it was giving off eye-watering fumes when hot. The oven itself kept tripping the fuse and the electrics went off a few times when cooking. This all needs checking. We also couldn’t turn off the smoke alarm in the kitchen, partly because it was so high on the ceiling, but also because it had been covered in silver foil. This needs looking at urgently. The main front door to the building was difficult to shut, probably because it had just been painted and needed fixing because as a result was mostly left open. Security wasn’t an issue during our time there, however, it was of sone concern to me. The host gave us plenty of pre-arrival information but was away and delayed in responses as a result when we were staying. I’m not sure what he could have done about issues from abroad so I suggest a local representative be available in such an instance.

The apartment was ideal, it was well located and once we parked the car up we didn't have to use it again for the whole week, we could walk to everywhere we needed. The apartment was clean and tidy, and was actually bigger than the photos suggested.

If I had any suggestions, it would be lock on the bathroom door would be handy, as it couldn't be locked we did walk in on each other a few times. I would also suggest that anyone going this time of year takes a fan as otherwise it is hot, we took 2 and it was lovely

Excellent location and clean. Owner is also only a message away should you need.

Could do with more or better pillows on the bed little flat for head support and a little comfier mattress. Apart from that spot on!

The location, layout and style of the property

Not the properties fault but the birds outside the window were so loud! We’d wake up at about 3am to them everyday. Good that no negatives for the actual property though and despite this we still had a lovely time and didn’t massively impact our stay

The Location of the property is perfect. The rooms adequate, although the bathroom, is less than immaculate needs upgrading to a standard you expect when paying a premium price. (maybe COVID inflated).

The side approach to the property needs cleaning up, looks very scruffy, the bins hadn't been emptied for some time. A bedroom fan would be a good addition as the rooms were so hot, and leaving the windows open is like Gull hell. (I know its the seaside).

The accommodation was lovely inside

The parking was misrepresented there was nothing close and everything was pay and display the closer to the accommodation the higher the cost so this added an on cost to the break itself

Such a great air bnb! Couldn't ask for a better location, there's a big living area/ kitchen, 2 sizeable bedrooms, and the host was super helpful and responsive. Would definitely recommend!
