the house was fully equipped all mod cons we would use at home. Milk, butter, marmalade,biscuits,tea coffee, condiments, sweets all provided by owner.

This is an amazing property. The location is excellent, close to all amenities. The decor is so tasteful , beautiful and restful. It was fabulously equipped, with lots of extra towels, teatowels, tea coffee, and milk and water in the fridge. Paul was an excellent host and even had fresh flowers in the patio for us!! We loved this property and can't wait to stay there again!!

Great wee haven amidst the vibrant city of Derry

We loved how clean the house was and how central the location was. The facilitieswere excellentand the host left us tea, coffee, milk and water which was a lovely touch.

Couldn't fault a thing!

Everything was excellent. There are 3 bedrooms a double and single at the top of the house and a double beside the bathroom on the first floor. Everything you can think of is supplied. There is an airfryer, George Foreman as well as full size fridge freezer. There is a washing machine in the utility room next to a downstairs loo. There is a courtyard with a table and chairs for smokers or fine weather. It's the little details that count. Tissues, plenty of towels, milk, biscuits. There is even a french press with ground cofffee supplied. Derry is a lovely city with very friendly people.

There is a bit of noise at the weekend but that's the way off for a fabulous location. I can wait to go back

Hellen's place is by far the best Airbnb I've stayed in and I use Airbnb a lot. The minute we opened the front door we felt at home warm comfortable and classy. Any queries we had were dealt with immediately the guys that own Helen's place should be incredibly proud.They have achieved 10 out of 10. I definitely will be back. Thank you so much.

We had a great time at Helen’s House. It was a lovely stay over Christmas. The home was beautiful and clean. The location was wonderful to check out the square and the walled city and for a short trip to Marin Head.

Helens House is in a great location just off Waterloo street which give you easy access to the bars ,shops and attractions that Derry has.The house was very clean ,well stocked with appliances and comfortable with plenty of room for 5 to 6 people. The host was in contact to see if we had arrived and got access to the house all in all a fantastic stay in Derry made better by staying in this house we would definitely book this again

This property is lovely . It’s in a great location , it is so clean and has all the amenities you need . We were left milk, water , butter, tea , coffee and biscuits . Toiletries are provided in the bathroom . It’s just lovely house and would recommend for anyone to stay here when visiting Derry .

We loved the house, spotless, very well decorated. Location was ideal. Paul even organised balloons in the house as we went up for a birthday celebration.

Great central location close to bars, restaurants, shops and attractions. Fabulous modern accommodation, super clean, everything you need, great helpful hosts, highly recommend, will definitely stay again.

Helen’s House was perfectly located in the centre of Derry. It was spotlessly clean & had everything we needed. Paul was there to meet us & had saved us a parking space. We would definitely stay there again.

The property is absolutely beautiful and spotless throughout. There was fresh milk, bottled water, coffee, tea etc left for us which was a great touch.

Obviously the property is located right in the heart of the city centre which means there are limited parking spaces and some noise from the nearby pubs. This is the only downside we found to what is a fantastic property.

We loved the convenient, central location of the house. It was beautifully decorated and very clean. The bedding was lovely and fresh and there was milk, cereal, tea and coffee left for us. The host gave very clear instructions on getting access to the house and checked in with us over the weekend via text. A very enjoyable stay and would definitely return.

Helen's House was one of the nicest AirBnBs I have ever stayed in, newly refurbished with high quality finishes and tasteful decorations and stocked with everything we needed. The location was so handy, just steps to the Derry Walls and pubs, shops and restaurants nearby. Would definitely stay here again next time I'm in Derry.

The house was immaculate. Plenty of towels were provided along with other essentials; tea, coffee, milk, butter, biscuits. Owner called to check we had everything and answered any questions we had. Location was exactly as described close to the city walls. Weather was cold but the house was lovely and warm. Excellent central location. We had a fantastic stay in Helen's House. On arrival, the place was spotless & decorated beautifully. Paul (the host) had everything covered with tea/coffee/milk/water provided for us. The location is perfect - cafes, shops, restaurants & pubs are all within walking distance. We had a couple of rain-y evenings, so having access to Disney/Netflix/Prime in the house was a handy bonus (especially for my son!). Paul has taken great care to ensure every detail is covered for guests & you can tell he prides himself on being a super host. We hope to book in again for our next Derry trip.

I liked how great Paul communicated w me. He followed up to make sure everything was going well. Paul also had instruction’s available for all the things in the townhouse. Very impressive! Wish all accommodations were as thorough as Paul.

Excellent location for exploring Derry and using public transport to get there. House was spotlessly clean, very comfortable with great facilities for myself and three children. Great communication from host. We spent a few days learning the history of Derry and NI as well as spotting filming locations for Derry Girls. We all thoroughly enjoyed. There is an amusement park across the river that we walked to. Took the train and bus to Giants Causeway area. It very easy to travel by public transport in NI and reasonably priced for families.

Helens House was perfect for our stay in Derry. Everything was spotless, beds were comfy, plenty of towels, and the kitchen had lots of extra treats we didn't expect. The location was perfect just around the corner from restaurants bars and convenience stores. Bus station and shopping centres only 5 minutes walk. Paul, our host, contacted me a few times to check if we had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend Helen's House

There is nothing to dislike!

Voted by all the family as the best of our 5 Northern Ireland accommodations. The only one my husband could imagine living in. Very central location, 50 metres from town walls. Beautifully decorated, beautifully clean, very spacious with 3 bedrooms and 2 small living rooms. Galley style kitchen with utility room was larger than I thought it would be. The large main bathroom had bath and separate shower, plus there was a ground floor toilet. There are spare towels and toilet roll everywhere and masses of soap, shampoo, conditioner, etc, so very well equipped. Even milk, water butter and jam in the fridge. They have tried to think of everything.

Nothing, it was lovely. It is worth noting, though, that it is next to a pub and round the corner from one of the busiest streets for night-life in the city. It is not quiet, especially at weekends, sounds of music, cars, and revellers, though there is double glazing to dull the sound a little. It is also a challenge to park outside the house, though persistence does pay off eventually. However, you have live, authentic, Irish and modern music, every night, 100 metres from your front door, one of the highlights of my holiday.

The location was fantastic for us. Middle of town and very close (100 feet) to the main night life street in Derry. Although there was noise late, it was well worth the location. Of course, the space was clean, neat and comfortable. Next time, will absolutely return to this location.

We just stayed in Helen’s House the last two nights. Have to say it was the cleanest Air BnB I’ve ever stayed in. The house seemed to be newly renovated with all mod cons. It was beautifully decorated. It was equipped with all kitchen appliances. There were towels for us to use and they stocked water & milk in the fridge! Hand soap in sinks and bubble bath etc there. Have to say it was a really nice touch! Would highly recommend this to anyone staying here. Location wise, it’s excellent for anyone looking to walk about the town or go for food and drinks. It’s right beside the famous pub Paedar’s and others too. Although it’s beside this steeet, the house must be sound proofed because we heard no noise.

Parking is outside on a very high hilled street. The first day we arrived it was full. We had to drive around. After 7pm there are usually spaces. The second night I had to park one street over called Harvey’s Street. So if worked out okay. Just bear this in mind. I did think it was a bit expensive. We paid €400 for two nights. But taking the high standard of the property into consideration with the location, that’s prob why it was dear

We had a lovely stay in Helens House. Host was super helpful and contacted as soon as we arrived and before we checked out. No need for a car at all as everything is in walking distance, Derry Walls and Craft Village right across the road! It was like a home away from home! We walked into a spotless home that smelled absolutely beautiful. I recommend to anyone wanting to visit Derry! Thanks one again to our host everything was perfect☺️

1. housekeeping very very clean, neat and tidy, and very well decorated. 2. kitchen and laundry area, all well equipped with necessary supplies to operate as if at home; 3. washroom very spacious, drainage very smooth, no stuck at all. 4. there are a lot of details about the house that the owner managed all very well. Appreciated. Will definitely stay there again next time.

1. dislikes material of sofa which is hard to tell it is clean or not, but this is just a very very minor issue. 2. parking is on street just in front of the apartment but still need to see your luck of the availability.

Paul, our host, used his personal car to hold a parking space for us in front of the house. He also made sure that we knew how to use the key properly and gave us his number in case problems arose; there were none. This townhome is beautifully renovated and nicely decorated. The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils, pots, pans, kettle, etc. There is a washing machine, but no dryer. There are three bedrooms--one on the second floor and two on the third--which are comfortably sized. The twin room on the third floor, which is quite small, my husband and I used as a dressing/luggage room since there were only 2 couples in the house. There is only one full bathroom, located on the second floor and a half bath off the kitchen. The four of us shared all the bathroom facilities. The house is located just downhill from one of the entrances to the Wall, which we walked and enjoyed. In addition, there are several eateries closeby, making location a definite plus.

I really did not like going downstairs to the bathroom. Having only one full bathroom complicated our getting ready in the mornings and preparing for bed in the evenings. It would be great if there was even a half bath on the third floor. It really should not be a huge problem to convert the twin room to a bath since it is directly over the full bathroom below. This was the only drawback to a lovely accommodation.

Great stay in an extremely well presented accommodation. Fixtures and furnishings all at a very high standard, was a very comfortable stay. Location was fantastic, right in the centre, walking distance to the murals and close to a number of bars & pubs (some noise can be heard from these in the eve, but didn’t find it too bothersome). Would happily recommend to all.

I cannot say enough positive things about Helen's house! Let's start with the owner going so out of his way to accommodate us. We were coming in a large van and weren't sure about finding parking. Reese went around the neighborhood to find the local car park to assure us that there would be parking, which was so kind of him, and then he assisted is in finding an even more convenient parking spot. When we entered the apartment, we saw immediately how clean and well kept it was. It had everything we needed to have the perfect stay. We even were able to utilize the washing machine which really helped us as this was our half way point on our two-week trip throughout Ireland. All of the kitchen amenities were also provided allowing us to cook dinner for my family of five staying at this location. Not only did Reese meet us at our location, but he was available at any time and he provided us with suggestions of things to see and do. We highly recommend Helen's House!

Very conveniently located and walkable to all major sites in Derry within and out of the walled city. Excellent and comfortable house over three floors. Lots of lovely restaurants and historical museums in the local area. Highly recommended and would return.

Low ceiling (older house but beautifully modern decorated) means that taller people just need to duck a bit to walk into the kitchen to avoid hitting their head. Very small problem.

Helen’s house was spotlessly clean and was a perfect base for us visiting family for a baptism - It is in a great location a stones throw from the city walls and walkable to the city centre. The street it is off can be lively at night but once inside can barely hear the noise! There’s plenty of space 2 x double bedrooms, a single bedroom, BIG bathroom (separate shower and bath), 2 living areas, a kitchen, utility area, toilet and courtyard spread over 3 floors! It was a nice touch that milk, butter, jam, tea, coffee sugar, cereals, washing tablets and softener were left!! Would definitely visit again 5 stars all day long!!! Thank you for a wonderful stay!!
