Inviting 1-Bed Apartment in Campbeltown Loch views

The property was clean, tidy and well equipped. The lounge room had a wonderful view looking out to the water, I spent the afternoons watching the bird life out on the water. The kitchen had everything you needed to cook meals, there was a small table in the lounge to eat at.

I’m a very tall person and because of the angle ceilings (being on the top level) I felt like I had to walk around ducking constantly.

the building is very run down. teens gather down in the entrance hall, the door to the flat has one broken lock. The place is decorated like the cheapest hostel, with the kitchen's lino coming off. No dining table to speak of (only a little on wheel contraption). I left earlier than planned.

Great location with fabulous views

The entrance is very undesirable, neighbours smoking marijuana on the stairwell, sofa very dirty so had to sit on throws and oven is old with seals falling off which makes the control knobs too hot to touch.

De locatie is geweldig met het uitzicht vanuit de woonkamer op Campbeltown Loch met Davaar Island op de achtergrond. Alles is makkelijk te voet te bereiken. Al met al een geweldige locatie

Er is eigenlijk weinig aan te merken, alleen dat de vloer enorm kraakt. Ik kreeg soms wel een beetje medelijden met de mensen die onder mij wonen

The view FROM THE flat is amazing

The location for the down was convenient with lovely views over the harbour.

The main door to the building is always propped open. Had to wash crockery and pans before I could use them. No fire extinguisher or blanket.

Die Lage, direkt am Hafen, ist super. Aus dem Wohnzimmer und Schlafzimmer hat man einen schönen Blick auf den Hafen. Die Ferienwohnung ist funktional ausgestattet und liebevoll eingerichtet.

Der kleine Heizkörper im Bad ist vielleicht etwas überfordert.

Explications très précises pour récupérer les clés. L'appartement est très bien situé, proche à pied du centre ville, des restaurants et des deux supermarchés. Il est très bien équipé. La vue sur la mer depuis la petite table au salon est juste magnifique. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour, tout est joli et bien pensé.

Seule chose si je dois trouver c'est la taille du lit dans la chambre.... 1,30 un peu juste pour un couple.

Absolutely loved the accommodation. We stayed for the long weekend. Location was ideal, 2 min walk from everything. Clean, all facilities that we required. And the views were beautiful! Also loved saying hi to the wee neighbourhood cat. Would highly recommend. Those that had weird negative reviews like “leaves blown” - ignore them. We are already considering booking for august next year too!

Für Selbstversorger NICHT geeignet. Kein (Ess)Tisch vorhanden, nur eine Klapptheke mit 2 Hockern, die jedes Mal in den Raum geschoben werden muss. Küche ist verrostet und hat nur das aller, aller Nötigste. (uraltes Besteck und ein paar Teller) Maximal Spiegeleier machbar, für Nudeln gibt es keinen Topf. Für Salat keine Schüssel etc. Heizung lief nicht, es war kalt. Sofa total verschmutzt, man mag sich nicht draufsetzen. Runtergekommenes Mietshaus, mit runtergekommenen Nachbarn. Wir wurden Nachts von der Polizei rausgeklopft, für eine Befragung wo der Nachbar sei. Dies ist meine erste schlechte Bewertung die ich abgebe, und ich bin viel unterwegs. Die Wohnung ist ein nogo, und die positiven Bewertungen sind meiner Meinung nach nicht echt. Bitte lest alle Bewertungen durch bevor ihr euch für diese Wohnung entscheidet.

Loved the location only a short walk from town centre. Apartment was perfect size for couple, we had everything we could possibly need for our stay. Definitely book again when we return. 👍

My partners a quilt hugger so a king size duvet would have been a bit better, thankfully apartment is warm so on whole not a big issue.

Loch views, if I needed to contact someone, they were at the end of the phone, no problem. If no answered I always received a call back.

Die Wohnung liegt direkt an der Hafenbucht und damit zentral. Schöner Blick auf den Hafen.

Der Eingang zur Wohnung befindet sich auf der Rückseite des Hauses und ist in einem ungepflegten Zustand. Die Haustür schließt nicht und der untere Flur war mit Laub und Gartenresten der letzten Wochen gefüllt. Auf die Couch im Wohnzimmer mochte man sich nicht setzen.

Good location with nice view of the loch from living room window. Good communication with owners. Easy walk into town . Well equipped and comfortable.

Cooker needs replaced as old and seal around oven door coming off. Kitchen needs upgraded . Couch in living room very stained and felt a bit unclean.

Super Lage, in Laufnähe zu Glen Scotia und Springbank. Tesco in der Nähe, 5 Minuten vom Busterminal.

We spent two nights here while I played golf in Machrihanish. The apartment is very roomy and comfortable. It has beautiful views from the windows which was very nice. It was also great to be able to wash some clothes while we were here. The town is very charming and easy to walk to from this location.

The location and views from the apartment were excellent. The property was tastefully decorated and although the kitchen was small it had all the necessary equipment. The welcome pack was great fully accepted.

The entrance to the staircase leading to the main door was not welcoming due to paper and debris having been blown in. Also the hot water was not hot enough to fill a bath. However all was not lost as the shower was used which took a lot more time.

Perfect location to visit Davaar Island which was our main focus for the trip.

Thought key code message would come directly to my email inbox as is the usual protocol but it landed in the Booking.com platform which we didn't realise till we spent some time searching for it. The phone number provided was also for a third party agency which had closed at 17.00 and we arrived at 17.10. Eventually we found the host's message which they had sent in the morning so we got into the property ok. It was just a different process to all our previous experiences with Booking.com but we know now so we'll be wiser next time.

Easy walk to town, restaurants, and shops. Lovely views of Campbeltown harbour. Very cosy flat. Really appreciated the electric fire!

Apartment was superb. Had everything I needed and more for my stay. The wee extra touches were very welcomed also. Will definitely be booking again,for my next visit. Exceptional views.

Felt a little drab, ie. couch looked as though it wasnt cleaned in a while which made me feel uncomfortable sitting on it, the headboard for the bed as ripped and the bathroom towels/dish towels and clothes smelled of dampness

Fantastic location with beautiful views of the harbour. Lovely wee apartment, very well decorated and modern. Good strong shower.

Very new bathroom, kitchen was super well equipped. A genuine clothes rack on which to dry my laundry was appreciated, rather than the usual method of having to drape everything over furniture. Nice comfy couch, and the instructions on how to find & access the place were comprehensive & helpful. Despite there being multiple flats in the house, it was nice & quiet - very little noise from other places.

It might be time for a replacement mattress, hoping it’s just worn out & isn’t answer one and thus just a poor mattress. Being on the top floor of the house I did hit my head on the angled parts of the ceiling a few times through my own carelessness. So if you’re 185cm & taller mind your head

The Location was Absolutely Amazing but, finding the Property wasn't easy. A sign on the gate saying this is where the Flat was would've been great, as we had to ask the Lady in the House next door if we were at the correct address, other than this, we had an Amazing Stay.

Lovely apartment everything we needed and the view across the loch is beautiful. Close to the Co-Op and Tesco, stunning walks around Campbeltown and plenty of places to eat and drink. I would highly recommend

access to building was disgraceful entry was filthy and floor had a fair sized hole in it which if not noticed could have caused injury. SPIRAL STAIRCASE WAS NOT EASY TO GET UP AND DOWN, VERY STEEP'

So near to town. The view of the water. Little touches from milk and biscuits to towels and a hair dryer.

The mattress was very uncomfortable (but was told this will be addressed) and although the flat was lovely and clean we used the bath towels on the corner suite.

It had everything you could need. And the view was awesome.

A short walk from the ferry along the prom to the flat. An old building with only one flight of steps to the apartment. The flat had all modern amenities needed .The views of the loch were fabulous. A thoughtful tea coffee sugar and milk were there to enable us to have a cuppa on arrival.Our little dog loved the loch beach every morning which was on the doorstep. The main town was a short walk away and there was always a dog friendly pub for a refreshment.

Just a couple of small things ie no where to hang a jacket if it was wet there was a small cupboard with a pole which could have been used to hang clothing if there had been some coat hangers available and maybe a wee chair and table at the front if you wanted to sit with your tea in the morning but these small things didnt detract from our stay.

Over looks the loch, nice rooms and very good bathroom
