Tree house in the woods...

It is completely basic as expected but if you want back to nature and peace and quiet it is perfect. Cooking over a camp fire was great fun make sure you take your lanterns and torches etc for the night! All in all we loved every minute. Henry is a great host we didn't get to meet Rachel on this occasion but will definitely return.

There was nothing we didn't like at the tree house setting but if you like your creature comforts this is not for you! However they also have shepherd huts and a lovely shower room with toilet and wash stand and a kitchen and if you want more there is a fabulous little cottage for two that is completely self contained with a selection of dvd's or take your own.

We loved staying here... its totally off grid and was so peaceful and picturesque. There was a mix up with the booking platform and it was quickly sorted out and we were more than happy with the outcome. We stayed in the roadmans hut and loved the amazing views we were surrounded by. It was lovely, sitting on the deck with my book and a brew (I brought a flask with me to fill up with boiling water in the shared kitchen) watching the horses in the livery and just taking in the breathtaking scenery. We toasted marshmallows on the bbq at night under the light of the moon. The hosts were so lovely and welcoming as were their cute friendly dogs. The shared areas - kitchen, bar, were fab!! I would love to recreate it at home - it was great! The shared bathroom was really nice too. Overall, a peaceful couple of days where the rat race was totally forgotten.

The tree house was an amazing experience. The hosts are lovely, helpful people, showed us round and even drove us to the woods in the 4x4 as the path was muddy (and gave us a back up light too.) The tree house is totally off grid, but this just added to the experience. There is a small covered balcony where we could stay dry, whilst immersed in the forest surrounds. Sleeping with the large glass fronts that look out into the woodland, was something special. And the tree house is very cosy, with ample room for us and our lurcher. The toilet/shower and communal amenities are just a short walk away (about 5mins). The shower is great! We bought a gas stove with us which was a helpful back up to cook on the balcony during the rain. Once it was sunny again we were able to cook on the fire in the woods with kindling and logs provided which was great! The surroinds are equally beautiful loads to explore (Worth a walk to May hill short walk from the farm) Would definately stay again!

Rachel & Henry were great Hosts. Warm friendly welcome with loads of info about their splendid Farm accommodation. Their Shepherds huts and cottage were lovely. We chose to stay in a wildlife “hide” in a beautiful wood. Huge windows out onto the woodland & everything that lives there. If you want back to nature and remote location this is it. We loved every minute. 10/10
