We had a lovely stay, a very friendly farm with a great mountain view. We enjoyed the walks nearby, the communal bar area and shower area. There are lots of house Martin/swallows/swift birds by day and bats by night, we also passed some deer and horses on our walk. The hut was clean, spacious, comfortable with a lovely interior. Easy access to the hut from the parking area. Very dog friendly site and great if you love horses as well. Lovely places on and off site to go and view a sunset on a clear night. Over all the farm is warm, welcoming with character.

Awful. Made to feel very uncomfortable for asking a reasonable request. Left early with no sleep.

Beautiful location.

Please be aware when booking this it has no insulation what so ever. You can see the floor through the boards and there is a 10 cm gap at the top of the door. We booked based on the reviews previously given. While it does state off grid, you do not expect there to be no insulation what so ever. The day we arrived there was a driving cold wind making the inside of the wagon colder than the ambient temperature outside in shelter. There is a heater inside the wagon but this is not attached to any mains supply. We went to eat at the shared space but found one of the other guests had put a laptop, books, camera, clothing etc across the dining table but didn't return for over 40 minutes, so we couldn't eat in the shared space. On returning to the wagon our dog was shivering and it was becoming uncomfortable. I messaged and called the hosts, but had no response. After discussion we decided to approach the hosts for help as they live on site. I explained the situation and asked for help with the heater that was in the wagon. The host was very short with me and told me in no uncertain terms they would not switch on the heater, it is only for winter. She was incredibly rude and not willing to hear my concerns. While I calmly explained we were very cold and it was becoming increasingly uncomfortable, the male of the couple asked me to come inside their home, as he was getting cold himself. While there the female host disappeared and returned with the another male guest. They asked him to swap accommodation with us in front of me. I immediately said that wasn't fair an not what I wanted but he was a regular guest and it was obvious he felt obliged to agree. It was clear he also had a disability of some sort and was put in a very awkward position. I continued to say I did not want to swap but felt bullied into doing so until I agreed. I had no idea how long this man had stayed there, if the bedding had been slept in or not, he assured me he hadn't.

Unique accommodation in lovely setting

Fantastic views, cabin really cosy despite having no heating. Shared bathroom and kitchen/bar area were great and had wood burner so nice for colder evenings.

A beautiful location. Nice and quiet surrounded by countryside views.

Where else could you stay where you have your own self serving Bar, dining room and games room. Set in the heart of the farm riding centre with beautiful countryside views.

The kitchen could do with another 3 point plug socket as we had to keep changing the kettle for the toaster and when another customer was using it to charge their mobile.

It is a beautiful peaceful place to stay

Hosts delightful. Surrounding area beautiful. Views truly spectacular. Lovely pub nearby serving great food. The hut had everything you needed. Comfy bed. Be aware that the toilet/shower and communal kitchen diner are about 45 yards from the hut. Note: kitchen diner is wonderfully quirky. Toilet/shower new and shiny clean. Loved it all. Would definitely stay there again.

Highly recommended

We had an amazing weekend at this little wagon with our dog who enjoyed it so much. The wonderful host Henry met us on arrival and made us feel at home! Everyone on the farm was super friendly and we loved waking up to see the horses being trained. Looking forward to coming back.

the wagon was very cozy and unbelievably comfortable! the owners were very nice and the place was great for walks with the dog.

the farm may be busy all around, due to all the parallel activities such as pigeon shooting and the horses. you have also to be prepared to share the facilities (kitchenette and toilet) with other guests.
