Good central location to explore and the chalet was clean and well equipped.

The chalet itself was lovely and had everything that we needed. It was clean and well equipped with some nice touches such as fresh milk in the fridge, plently of board games, some children's books and the bonus of bedding and towels provided was great too. Whilst the name of the properly suggested it was by the beach, it wasn't but it was a good location to be able to visit the places that we wanted to go to.

The site was tired, the restaurant/shop and clubhouse were very dated and the staff really didn't seem to want to be there. Whilst there was a pool onsite it was at an additional cost. The other guests/residents on the site were an interesting bunch, kids running around screaming and shouting until gone 10pm, dogs running around and barking, adults screaming and shouting, it didn't really make for the relaxed family atmosphere that we were hoping for and our children were quite intimidated by some of the goings on. Unfortunately, this would put us off going back.

The accommodation was good. Beds were very uncomfortable tho. Mattress on our bed was really uncomfortable so didn't sleep very well. We thought it was going to be within walking distance to the beach. But we made the most of it.

Not close to the beach as we first thought

Home away from home in Cornwall.

I stayed here at the end of July. It was a very enjoyable and comfortable stay. A real home away from home. The property was fully stocked with all the conveniences and appliances you may need. This included a fully functional kitchen, TV and board games. There was also towels and bed linens so you don't need to bring your own. The property also had cleaning equipment such as a hoover, broom for when you have come back from a sandy beach as well as a drying rack for wet clothing. There are two bathrooms with a shower on the ground floor and a bath on the top floor. Toilets in both. The site was clean with facilities such as a swimming pool and playground. The staff were extremely helpful, giving us suggestions for where to go and where to park. Great location as well so quick to travel to areas of interest such as Minack Theatre, St Micheals Mount, St Ives, Carbis Bay etc. It was excellent value for money and I would certainly consider booking again if I'm in the area.

There was no freezer so don't bring frozen foods. The on site shop is over-priced but well stocked in an emergency. There is a lidl in town so would do my shopping there if you haven't brought food with you.

A lovely property that was perfect for our stay.

Clean and had everything we needed.

The mattress in the double room was quite soft and we prefer a harder mattress.

Great location for exploring Cornwall. Short drive to St Michael's Mount, St Ives etc. kitchen was small but well equipped. Toiletries, towels, bedding etc. was welcomed touch. The site was great with small pool which my son loved. Passes were very well priced at £18 for the whole house! Much better than previous sites where you pay per person etc. food on site was good quality and great value. Would recommend for a family base in Cornwall

If im being extra picky id say it's not by the sea/beach. The site isn't in walking distance of the sea and certainly not the beach. You can drive and park at Hayle beach for a reasonable price and it's not overly busy compared to the main tourist areas like St Ives

Cheapish stay which was as expected and which made a good base.

very clean property. Comfortable beds and settees. Convenient location for st Ives and Penzance. Well equipped kitchen though small. Convenient Key safe. Decent table to eat and play at. Good heaters kept us cosy. Informative hosts.

Faulty oven which overheated. Slight smell of cat wee which was off putting at first. No freezer. Website did not say the Park facilities were not open the weekend we went although the host did inform us after we had booked and gave us a chance to cancel the booking if we wanted.

A pleasurable stay

The fact that little extras such as toiletries were included. Was a very nice touch. House was fully equipped and very clean and the owners very kindly included a cot and extra tv upon my request....many thanks. The house was very presentable

Even when connecting to.the mobile wifi, still, there was hardly any connection. Could not even make calls. The mattresses were not very comfy.

Good value for money. Good location to get to a lot of attractions and not too far to go to the beach. Facilities on the site are not bad for a young family.

WiFi is available via a Vodafone dongle it's OK for looking a the odd website on one device but speed and connectivity are not great. Generally a bad area for phone reception. The shower is rather cramp only a small square cubicle. Steep stairs and no way of blocking them off with a adventurous 18 month old it made it hard.

Location good

No heating in both bathroom and shower room. Cold when you want to take shower and use toilet. Dishes in kitchen not clean to our expectation, some plates had food stuck on them. Otherwise okay.
