Quiet and cosy stay

The hut was lovely and cosy and we were provided with everything we would need. The bed was comfy, it was warm and we had plenty of space.

Due to rain the entrance to the hut was very dirty, maybe a outdoor shoe rack / outdoor Matt would help this

Peaceful

This is a beautiful peaceful secluded spot at the top of a gorgeous hill and was a welcome respite after a long day of conferencing. Porridge tea milk and chocolate were all on hand as were robe and slippers for the nearby shower. Everything worked beautifully and I slept like a baby.

This is a wonderful hideaway near St Austell and we will definitely be returning. Julian was fantastic - he was there when we arrived and showed us around. It is a steep, bumpy, sandy track to get up to the huts but 100% worth it when you arrive. We stayed here with our 2 dogs and 6 month old baby and it was perfect. The huts are modern, very clean and have everything you need in them. The communal loos and shower were also really clean with nice extra touches. Overall, really well thought out and welcoming. Each hut is private and they are in a beautiful location in the woods. Very special place. Can't wait to return!

Very relaxing!

Cost & comfortable, unbelievably quiet given how close to town it is!! Lovely additional touches by the owner including dog treats!! Great walk right from the door. Loved having the odd deer as neighbours!

There was nothing to dislike, we had a lovely and very relaxing stay!!

Loved the location (it was a track up to the huts), it was so peaceful and safe for our dog to roam around and not overlook by anything other than nature. The Grey Hidden Hut was furnished beautifully with everything you could need (my husband did miss having a TV) and even had ground coffee and a cafeteria (even loose tea). Thank you for a great stay.

Will admit when we first got to the hut we was abit overwhelmed with how remote it was but once we found our bearings and bought in provisions we had the most amazing 2 nights stay.. over the 3 days we was there we only saw 1 person which was the owner of the property and who was lovely and told us abit of the background of the area. He recommended we went for a swim in his man made natural pool which was actually really lovely. We really did have the best time thank you. X

Amazing location amongst the misty forest landscape. The cabin is cosy and very clean, with all the amenities you will need. Kay provided some hot chocolate, which was a lovely touch. It definitely felt hidden! The shower was not initially functioning, but Kay resolved the issue straight away.

Despite knowing beforehand that the bathroom and toilet were held in a separate container outside, I was not prepared for the walk in the rain. It is something to be aware of even though it is very close.

Peaceful perfect

It was such a fabulous little place to stay. It comes with everything you need for a relaxed trip away and a real bonus was just how quiet it was there. Perfect base location to go off and explore The Cornish coast

Just maybe a clearer sign at the top of the bend in the road but otherwise really not sure what else they could have done.

Luxury hut and garden area surrounded by woodland

Spotlessly clean, fresh linens and kitchen wares, cosy lodge with welcoming touches such as lamps and blankets, super comfortable bed with nice bed linen and pillows, a fire pit outside, a great view of the trees and wild landscape around the site, private garden benches and picnic table for our use, luxury touches to the toilet block and the shower (toiletries, scent diffusers, hand towels).
