City Centre 1 Bed Apartment in Edinburgh

Great host. Welcomed us to his cafe with complementary drinks and cake. Took us to the apartment personally and was very helpful with restaurant recommendations and holding our luggage. Replied to messages very quickly. Really convenient location. We walked everywhere from there. The host left his netflix logged in which was great for chilled times after all the walking!!

The shower was tricky with the temperature. Took a while to work out how to get it hot, and then it was scolding. We couldn't seem to get a good temperature. The curtains didn't pull all the way across to allow darkness for the person sleeping on the sofa bed. We mostly solved it with the use of a hairclip.

Reasonable location

Would describe as functional rather than “charming”. Lack of kitchen utensils, few toiletries, limited towels and broken in suite washer.

The location was excellent, as were the amenities provided. A comfortable stay for 3 adults.

Die Unterkunft war top! Würde ich wieder buchen!

Notre hôte Ismail a été super et nous avons eu de très bons échanges. Nous avons retrouvé Ismail à son café bistro et il nous a offert un café avant de nous accompagner à l'appartement pour pouvoir nous y installer assez tôt dans la journée et nous y reposer avant de démarrer notre découverte d'Edimbourg. Le check in s'est fait plus tôt que prévu donc c'était impeccable! Ismail s'est montré très serviable et au retour nous avons pu reprendre un café. Appartement très bien situé : proche du centre-ville d'Edimbourg et du château (à peine 10 min à pieds!). Des commerces de nourriture et des restaurants se trouvent dans la rue de l'immeuble, ainsi que des arrêts de bus pour profiter des transports en commun (5€ par adulte par jour pour utiliser autant de fois que nous voulions tous les transports (tram et bus) et 2.50€ par enfant de -16 ans!) .

Même si il manquait une cafetière dans l'appartement, nous pouvions sans problème en avoir un au café d'Ismail

La ubicación excepcional, a 20 minutos caminando de Royal Mile. El apartamento con todo lo necesario en baño , cocina , dormitorio.Muy limpio. El dueño muy amable con nosotros. Nos ofreció café gratis en su cafetería todos los días . Y pendiente de nuestro regreso a casa.

Las ventanas dan a una obra y hacían ruido desde muy temprano y por la noche. Cierto que como no estábamos en todo el día, poco nos molestó, salvo dos noches que madrugábamos para las excursiones. La cama muy justa si eres grande. Yo mido 1,80 y se me salían lo pies . Nos tropezábamos por la noche . Pero también depende de cómo estés acostumbrado supongo . Pero el colchón estaba en muy buen estado.

fab location apartment itself was lovely and very clean

we had no hot water throughout the trip which we have since been reimbursed for, the tv kept going funny then black so we couldn’t watch it and the oven had no numbers of temp or fan/oven etc so had to guess what we were cooking 🙈 suggest this needs a new one

If you’re staying in Edinburgh, you will not find a better accommodation than this flat! It’s specious, cozy, so clean, well equipped. Now, the location- couldn’t be any better. City centre and all tourist attractions are not more than 15 minute walk, but there’s also plenty bus stops around. The host, Ismail is so accommodating and hospitable. He also owns a cafe bistro next to the flat which is a great breakfast/lunch/dinner spot. if you think about booking a hotel, this is a much better option. don’t miss out!

There’s nothing I didn’t like.

Muy buena situación. A pocos minutos caminando del centro y de la estación del tram al aeropuerto. Da a un bloque de edificios, la vistas no son buenas pero es tranquilo. Muchísima luz. La cama cómoda. Tienen un plegatin que para niños un par de días vale. El dueño es resolutivo y facilita las cosas. Es amplio, muy cómodo para una pareja o familia con un niño. Tiene Netflix, útil por la noche porque con niños no puedes pasar ningún sitio.

La wifi da algún problema. La empresa que gestiona la reservas informó sólo de dos adultos y no tenían listo el plegatin. El propietario lo solucionó enseguida. Es muy amable. Es caro y, aún así, la mejor relación calidad precio que vimos Edimburgo está carísimo en estas fechas. El agua caliente se queda un poco corta para tres personas.
