The views from this property absolutely made the stay. Remote location with a bit of a drive to get to busy still worth it!

We stayed for one night and the cabin is cosy - we were 4 adults so had the bedroom and the sofa bed. The fire warmed the place up on a horrible wet and windy night. The views were amazing once we could see in the morning.

Nous avons passé une excellente nuit dans la cabane. Nous avons pu profiter hier soir d’un magnifique coucher de soleil; la vue est incroyable. Le logement convient très bien pour une famille de 4 personnes. C’est forcément petit mais très fonctionnel. Nous y reviendrions avec plaisir. Il s’agit du logement que nous avons préféré lors de notre séjour en Ecosse.

The house has everything you need. The space is used in a very smart space. Amazing view of the surroundings. Cows and sheeps came to greet us :)

Bed linen were way too warm for the summer, but to be honest we did not ask if we could get them replaced

Wonderful small cottage with everything needed for a good stay, view is super. The drive to the very small place of Elgol is also very nice!

We hebben het super naar onze zin gehad. In het begin moesten we een beetje wennen aan het " tiny" want wij zijn alle 3 vrij "tall". Maar dat wende snel! Het uitzicht rondom de cabin is echt bizar mooi..... en de koeien lopen soms voor de deur langs, grappig. Ema en Frazer zijn echte lieverds. Frazer heeft deze cabin zelf gebouwd en er is overal over nagedacht. Complimenten!!!

Firstly the drive in. It's stunning. Then you arrive in Elgol, step foot in the cabin and realise just how good your view is for the next few days. It's genuinely breathtaking even when the sun is shining or it's a right dreich day. The cabin has everything you need and then some. Very well equipped. The hosts were great and always there should we have required anything. There is a shop only a short walk away and boat trips available within walking distance as well as some good treks. Some boat trips are dog friendly which was great for us. An excellent way to see hidden parts of the island. Certainly missed waking up with a morning coffee to the roaming sheep and cows......oh and once again those scenic views Will definitely be back to this cabin as there is so much of Skye left to explore. Couldn't think of staying anywhere else now. Thanks for having us.

Stunning location and the most beautiful tiny house. Elgol is paradise and we absolutely recommend the boat trip. Frazer was very responsive, helpful and great to chat to. We did not want to leave. Absolutely stunning spot! We will be back for more adventures.

Absolutely beautiful location, a cute cosy cabin ,.kitchen has most things you need and so functional. shower and toilet are separate which is handy. you won't need telly, although it has one , as the views are something else .would highly recommend

My friend and I had such a great stay with our dogs. The cabin is lovely and the view is incredible. I would really recommend the misty isle boat trip to Loch Coruisk, it was stunning.

Der Ausblick war der Hammer. Selbst wenn man mal nicht vor die Tür konnte oder wollte hatten man einen spektakulären Blick auf Meer und Berge. Wer Rinder und Schafe mag kommt voll auf seine Kosten, die kommen teilweise bis an die Terrasse.

Uns hat es überhaupt nicht gestört, aber es sollte gesagt werden, das man sich arrangieren muss, bei einem längeren Aufenthalt. Ablage bzw. Möglichkeit zum Aufhängen von Kleidung sind begrenzt.

The views are stunning! The property is well equipped & has everything you need and the location is fabulous.

Stunning views, modern and just like described. It is small, but perfectly formed. It’s clear a lot of thought and love has gone into this place. We stayed as two adults with a small dog and it had all the things we needed. The bed was so comfortable as was the sofa. The kitchen is modern and had everything we needed. The place felt so open and light, but secure and private at the same time. A home away from home. The owners are lovely and very accommodating, quick to respond. Wish we booked for longer and hope to be back really soon.

Obviously the views are to die for! The windows were so well placed and made this place very special. Pretty well stocked for cooking a meal. Loved that they had a pour over too! Dishwasher was another nice feature. My husband loved the shower, one of the nicest showers we've had on this trip. Bathroom was small, but fine for us. First full length mirror we've had at our places... That is also nice. We really appreciated the early/late check-in. We didn't get there early, but we're thankful we didn't have to rush out the next morning. I would absolutely love to stay again. They don't seem to do the little tastings of whiskey anymore... As others have mentioned in the previous post. There wasn't really any sort of welcome basket. Many other places we've stayed have had that.

Lack of storage. Would be really nice to have a few foldable suitcase holders and hooks in the bedroom. You are kind of forced to put everything on the floor. Not ideal. Because this place is so well insulated, it keeps the heat in. We couldn't resist the fireplace and had it on for the evening, the heat stayed in all night. Thankfully they have two small fans to keep the air flowing. There are no screens on the windows, so you kind of have to make the choice of having airflow with insects or stuffy. Insects love to bite me, so we had to keep them closed. Probably time to block off a little time to do a little deeper cleaning. There were cobb webs on the wall and dust on the light fixtures.

The stay was great and corresponded exactly to the description. The view is amazing and provides an incredible experience. A must-live for people who want to avoid the tourist trail on the island.

Beautiful Mountain View’s from the living room, and also the bedroom. It’s what we would call a “mini house”. We spent the majority of our days outside hiking, so the size didn’t bother us. Loved being able to hike beautiful paths without ever having to get into our car and go anywhere.

Tout, le lieu, le logement, la vue, la gentillesse des hotes même si on ne les a pas vu. Un lieu hors du temps, très cosy. Vraiment si vous passez sur l’ile de Skye, c’est un très bon endroit.

Wow!!! I can’t put Into words how perfect our stay was at Cuillinview Cabin! The views are breathtaking and I was honestly mesmerised by the scenery. We enjoyed days out as well as a day in due to some stormy weather. Normally not being able to have a day exploring would feel like a wasted day but with the stunning views it was lovely to just spend the day playing games and staring at the view. The cabin itself whilst compact has everything you need and is perfectly comfortable for a couple to stay in. Don’t hesitate to book, we always tend to book places with great views but this is definitely in our top 3!

What a beautiful cabin! Stunning views and so peaceful. Plenty of space for 2 people and 2 small dogs with a clever layout. Elgol is quite remote but the drive was worth it for the views!

What a beautiful cabin . So much detail was put in to this lovely little peace of heaven . A lot bigger than it looks with every thing you could want for a peaceful break . Views were amazing. I would recommend it to any one .

Everything about our stay was perfect. The cabin was clean, comfortable, warm and welcoming. The views were amazing, regardless the time of the day and the location was perfect. we wanted to be out of the way and Elgol was just perfect.

The view is really amazing. There is a kitchen and a tiny ethanol fire place. We have got some whisky for our arrival. Thanks a lot for that.

The cabin is definately to small already for two people. No space to lay your luggage down. If you travel with more than a backpack you have to place all your stuff at the buttom. No closeths at all. And even the space at the bottom is limited. The cabin is separated in three "storys". The lowest is the living room. The highest is the bedroom. So its always very warm in the sleeping area and cold in the living section. The ethanol fire place needs a long time to heat the livingroom up and there is no additional heater in this section. So unfortunately its uncomfortable. We saw other rental homes with a lot more space and more comfort. They were also equipped with a tiny starter package like coffe, porradge and some cheese. Also the shower and the toilet rooms are very small and there is not enough space to clean teeth or face. You need to do this in the kitchen. And don`t forget the distance from the main road to the cabin.

Looking out of the huge picture windows at both the Cuillin mountains and the vast seascape, over to the small isles at sunset, is a life affirming experience.

It was such a unique and special location. You will never have another holiday like it. The sun rise and au. Set through the windows over the mountains and sea is so incredible. And the shooting stars when you sit on the little patio!

What a perfect cabin in a beautiful setting. We absolutely loved our stay, it was the most cosy and relaxing place with stunning views. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer! Highly recommend!

I always go to Skye for my birthday for a few days and had never been to the Elgol part of the island. I know the island and the climate quite well so was expecting pretty much anything and everything. I booked this because of the view and it absolutely did not disappoint! The day of my birthday was gloriously sunny and I sat with a lovely glass of chilled champagne, looking at that view in the afternoon. It is absolutely idyllic and even the word perfect isn't good enough. The bed was so comfortable I slept a FULL 8 hours uninterrupted and then had coffee in bed with that view too. The shower was fabulous and the towels were spot on. The little toilet with the ever-so-cute wash hand basin was like stepping into a little bit of Hobbiton haha. So quirky and wonderful. Dishwasher was handy on the last day when you are rushing to check out The day after my birthday was quite stormy so lighting the fire and enjoying the rest of my champagne in the cosy atmospheric cabin was just absolutely perfect. Sunshine or storm I couldn't fault any part of it. The finishing bit of "polish" on the whole thing was the little hip flask of whisky which I suspect was Talisker (which I happen to love) that was there on arrival was the cherry on top of the cake so to speak. This place hasn't been open that long for bookings relatively speaking but it is already booked up for most of the year and you can absolutely see why. So I found a slot in the summer where there's the obvious more daylight hours and sunsets and booked again it was so good. It really is that lovely!!!

That I had to leave. Was quite gutted when I drove away. Looking forward to going back.

Everything ..stunning views

This was our favorite stay hands down, I’m convinced my partner would have stayed and let me continue by myself. The bed: super comfortable The shower: perfect temp The living area and fireplace: a pleasant surprise ☺️ We don’t feel like we stayed enough days so if this one comes up to you to rent I would say stay at least 4 nights minimum, trust me it’s worth it. Influencers will make you think you can do Skye in 1 day, you can if you want but you will cheat yourself. There were many places we couldn’t see just due to time constraints and weather/daylight hours.

This is our second visit to Cuillin View. It has to have one of the best views on Skye. We didn’t have great weather but it is the perfect place with its huge windows to watch the storm pass.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the lovely cabin. The view was just stunning! Fraser and Ema were great hosts, even providing us some Whisky. :) The cabin was such a clean, comfy and cozy place, which felt like home. Our dog enjoyed it very much too. :)

Comfortable cabin, clean and well provisioned. Off road parking. Owner friendly and helpful. Views were amazing. Location very good. Owner even gave dram of Whisky as a welcome.

Garden not fully secure at rear of cabin. If your dog wanted too they could exit garden.

Ontzettend gave locatie, wel op een wat afgelegen route. Duidelijke en fijne uitleg van de host. Gezellige en vriendelijke mensen. Mooie, knusse ruimte met alles wat je nodig hebt. Zeker aan te raden voor een once in a lifetime verblijf.

Dieses Häuschen hat eine grandiose Lage in Elgol! Wir waren zu viert und alles war vorhanden. Es war sehr sauber und die Aussicht ist einfach der Hammer. Absolute Weiterempfehlung!

Die lange Fahrt nach Elgol auf der einspurigen Straße mit unendlich vielen Schlaglöchern verlangt sehr viel Geduld... aber da kann die Unterkunft nichts dafür...

It was definitely one of the most beautiful and unique acommodations we have ever stayed in. The location, views, and the functionality of the tiny house were amazing.

The sofa bed is not the most comfortable to sleep on. The place is ideal for 2 people but, despite this, we loved our stay.

Magnificent views.

Amazing location and stunning view.

Despite other guests comments there is still no where to put any clothing in the bedroom - there is plenty of space to put some hangers on a wall and in cleaning cupboard and maybe some small drawers. I’m not the type of person who enjoys scrabbling around the in the bottom of her luggage for a clean set of pants! Impossible to blow dry hair as no mirror by any plug socket as the only mirror is above the toilet which makes its impractical to use for contact lens, shaving etc . These are simple things which could be changed in half a day which would enhance guests facilities and practicality of living in a small space.

Cabin was in an amazing location and laid out perfectly for such a small cabin plenty of room for a couple and our 1 year old. Very quiet surroundings great place to escape and relax

Being critical cabin could maybe do with a wardrobe however don't know where it would go just saves living out a suitcase

The views were incredible, we had lots of sheep/chicken visitors that came to the windows and our hosts were amazing. Our dog enjoyed their weekend as well! We will definitely be back 😁

We were lucky enough to have good weather during our stay and the cabin did hold the heat overnight which made it a little uncomfortable.

The views were incredible, we loved sitting there and taking it all in. The cabin had everything you needed.

The only negative was that the cleanliness was patchy in parts, e.g. crisps crumbs all over the outside table and the fridge needed a clean.

The view of the Cuillen Hills is amazing. The hosts were exceptionally friendly, inviting and helpful. The cabin is a cute mini home w some nifty touches. Home grown eggs and lovely pets added to the ambience to this super lovely place.

The space was a little cramped for 2 independent travellers. The second bed was the couch. But the view and really helpful and lovely hosts made up for any problem. The sign to the property could be clearer to avoid feeling lost.

La vue.

Absolument pas pour 4 alors que l'on nous avait confirmé que c'était bon. Bien trop petit, juste 3 verres et 3 fourchettes, le comble. Lavabo microscopique et dans les toilettes. Le sommier du canapé lit est très inconfortable. On s'est marché dessus pendant 2 jours aucun endroit pour les valises, aucune vraie table. Pas de moustiquaire pour les midges, on a dû rester enfermé alors qu'il faisait 28 degrés, une fournaise.
