Tiny Home in Isle of Skye - Pet Friendly

Our place was so lovely! Very peaceful. Takes a little bit to get there but worth it for sure. Bed is comfortable and good water pressure in the shower. The fire was so nice too. Thankyou!

Nous avons passé un moment merveilleux avec l’impression d’être seul au monde au bout d’un fjord sur l’île de Skye.

La petite cabane est juste parfaite pour une nuit en toute intimité, avec une vue incroyable. Pensez bien à prévoir de quoi dîner! Ce qui fait tout le champ de l’endroit, c’est qu’il n’y a pas grand chose autour.

Très belle balade à faire à pied, en descendant sur la plage avec les falaises.

Je recommande chaudement.

The view from the cabin is absolutely stunning. We were lucky to have a  clear day and we could see all the mountains surrounding it. As we came beginning of October the restaurant near by had just closed for the season. But the cabin has a little kitchen so cooking and eating at home is always an option. ☺️

Really cute little place, and very clean! Has a nice view and communication with hosts was very good and straightforward :) would recommend!

We really enjoyed staying in the Tiny House in Elgol. It is a lovely place with stunning views and all the comfort you need. The house is fullly equipped and clean. The hosts provide all needed information to allow for an efficient check-in and a pleasant stay. Unfortunately we needed to move on after 2 nights but we would have loved to stay longer. Smart cabin design making great use of aspect. The views were hypnotising, the weather was perfect. The kitchen well equipped. The hosts are lovely and the boat to Loch Coruisk tremendous.

Great place for a remote getaway, with amazing views of the Cuillins from the loung and bedroom. Given it's location, we experienced Skye's wild and variable winter weather. We will definitely be back in the summer.

The best Airbnb in 15+ years! 

Beautiful, peaceful and equip with everything for a comfortable and cozy stay. The photos can’t do the views justice. 

We spent a long weekend in February in the cabin, soaking up the astounding views whilst sipping coffee in the morning. Then returning for some wine to have the sunset framed perfectly by the picture window. Sitting by the fire and seeing the stars whilst listening to music on the mini speaker, was very memorable. 

The cabin is warm, very clean, has a full working kitchen and the shower is hot. Whilst small, layout and design of the cabin was perfect for the two of us (but you could easily stay with kids too). 

This is a true gem!! I cannot recommend the place enough - gorgeous!

We cannot believe our luck with the weather we had during our stay. It allowed us to roam a little longer in the day time hours. The cabin is a small piece of heaven in a beautiful area and we cannot recommend enough. The views are incredible, the area is peaceful and quiet. We’ve smiled from ear to ear with how lucky we feel to of found this gem, and been able to visit the island. Thankyou so much for having us.

Frazer and Ema’s place is beautiful - small but practical, and perfect for our family of four. It had everything we needed, and the view of the Black Cuillin Mountains was absolutely breathtaking. We soaked it all in and would love to come back. Frazer and Ema are also great hosts!

Superbe séjour à Elgol, à 30mn de la route principale qui mène à Portree sur laquelle vous trouverez des moutons, apercevrez peut-être comme nous des biches et une vue magnifique à l'arrivée malgré les nuages et les nombreuses averses en cette fin de mois d'octobre. Logement impeccable avec tout ce dont vous avez besoin. Nous ne pouvons que recommander cette adresse!!

Incredible setting with amazing views. Small but very well laid out space. There were two of us visiting with a very large dog and it worked perfectly for one night.

The cabin is wonderful. It is exceptionally clean and well maintained. We loved the cozy fireplace and beautiful view that welcomed us in the morning. Highly recommend.

We had a bit of a testing journey to get to the cabin as we were travelling in October just after Storm Amy had crash landed on the islands. It was dark, very wet and very windy and the roads are narrow and unlit. However there was a very welcome wee dram of whisky waiting which definitely calmed my nerves :)  ... such a lovely touch from the owners.

When we woke the following morning we were totally blown away by the stunning views from the panoramic windows. The living room looks down onto the tiny harbour in one direction and across to the Cuillins from the other. We had sightings of two golden eagles on both days too!

The bedroom also looked out onto the mountains and the bed was the comfiest we'd had during our road trip.

I can't fault the accommodation at all. It was just perfect.

Geen koffie aanwezig en vooraf niet duidelijk welke koffie faciliteiten er zouden zijn.
Bed was laag, aan de kleine kant en matige matrassen.

Lovely Tiny Home that will definitely make a destination spot on the next visit to Skye

De locatie was op een punt van Isle Of Skye waar het uitzicht aan alle tot rust komende behoeftes voldoet.
Zowel vanuit de woonkamer als vanaf bed heb je uitzicht op bergen en water.
De zonsondergang is romantisch en de Cuillin Mountain is er eentje om van te genieten. 
Mooie extra touch was dat er hele goeie wandel lichten lagen voor op je hoofd.
Wij hebben 1 avond de Bistro 'om de hoek' bezocht voor diner. Dit is 15 minuten lopen (in heuvellandschap). Op de terug weg was het echt donker en de lichten hebben ons naar huis geholpen.
Pas op: los lopende schapen haha

Romantisch tot rust komen

Wow! How beautiful is this view to wake up in the morning? We had everything we needed and did a boat trip just down the hill. It was amazing! It's really cozy, clean and feels like coming home.  We would definititly come back and love Isle pd Skye.

Beautiful stay. The views are second to none. Glad we were told to stop at the shop before turning into Elgol as we needed milk and coffee for the morning. 

Linen for the sofa bed wasn’t provided. I’m not sure if this is something I should’ve requested.

Lovely accommodation in a stunning setting.

Loved it.

Location was stunning! The tiny house was amazing combination of cosiness and functionality in such a small place. A lot of attention to the details.

The access to the house is downhill a very steep country road that we had to climb back - luckily our car was full traction. As the place is quite remote from shops and cafes, we missed having coffee and a snack in the fridge.

La cabaña es espectacular. Está situada en un paraje de ensueño. Las vistas son inmejorables. Dentro de la cabaña tienes todo lo que necesitas. Volveremos seguro.

Por poner una pega, tanto la cama como el sofá cama no eran demasiado cómodos para el descanso.

We really enjoyed our stay at Cuillin view cabin. Our hosts were friendly and helpful. The large windows allowed for panoramic views of the picturesque Cuillin mountains and beautiful sunsets during our stay. The cabin itself was spotless and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. We were lucky to have some hot weather for the 3 days we were there so we put the 2 fans provided to good use as it did get warm. The bed and sofa bed were comfy. The location allowed for easy access to the boat trips at the pier. We did a trip to Loch Coruisk with the Misty Isle boat tour which we would definitely recommend as we saw seals, dolphins and a minke whale. It was particularly handy being able to walk down the hill to it. There's also a small play park a short walk away that my 2 children enjoyed playing in. My husband made use of the nearby cafe for breakfast rolls too.
We would absolutely recommend the cabin to anyone wishing to visit Skye. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Perfekte Lage, toller Ausblick, sehr netter Vermieter, es gibt keinen einzigen Punkt der nicht sehr gut war. Leider nur 2 Tage frei...einfach eine schöne Zeit dort.

Leuk modern tiny house in Elgol

Our second stay at this property and won't be our last. The  drive in still takes our breath away. Stunning views right up until you arrive in Elgol and then you see your view for the stay. Wow. It's even better than the views on the drive in.

Then the cabin. It's perfect. It has everything you need. The view out the window with a morning coffee is unreal.

The ideal place to stay and chill out.

This little house was in a perfect location to provide stunning views, we lucked out with a beautiful 23 degree Celsius sunny day. Our hosts provided everything we needed, including a lovely wee dram. The drive is a good distance on single lane windy roads but well worth it when you get there! We loved watching the comings and goings of the harbour from our porch. The location is quiet and peaceful. We would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to experience the beauty of the Isle of Skye.

Perfect weather and perfect view

Cold wet and windy to boiling hot, a week of fun and every type of weather you could imagine.

This is an amazing property managed by great hosts in beautiful surroundings and a very enjoyable drive up to. I wish I’d stayed longer!

Everything was near perfect but wouldn’t say it is suitable for 4 people as the sofa bed was not very comfortable to sleep on. We definitely go again if I was 2 people travelling to the Isle of Skye rather than 4.

The most beautiful stay of our Scotland road trip so far. Immaculately clean, well stocked, comfortable, friendly, this location is an absolute gem. Unbeatable location, worth every penny. OMG, this tiny home was amazing. Staying here on Skye was one of the most memorable experiences of our trip. The view was to die for, we never even considered turning on the TV. We spent the evenings watching the sunsets over the water and mountains. I can't wait to return. Now the specifics.... the home is indeed small, but nicely laid out. The bedroom is up a set of stairs and the firm bed is low to the floor. There are large boxes under the bed for storing clothing, which worked well. We put our luggage in the car. There are a few un-carpeted stairs which can be slippery in stocking feet and no handrail so descend cautiously - we didn't have a problem. The bathroom is interesting with the toilet/sink one one side of the hall and the shower on the other, good use of space. The kitchen in small, but well equipped for cooking. Frazer and Emma even left a wee dram (thank you)! The location is a bit out of the way, about 1/2 hour south of Broadford where you will need to stock up on groceries. The drive is on narrow roads with plenty of sheep to make it interesting. We will definitely stay here again!

Als je echt iets bijzonders wil, dan boek je deze accommodatie! Je kijkt je ogen uit, never a dull moment -:). Alles is er wat je nodig hebt, netjes en slimme inrichting. Keep up the good work-:)

Traumland und eine wunderbare Unterkunft. Unfassbarer Ausblick. Der Weg nach Elgol ist zwar lang aber lohnenswert.

La vue est féérique. Proximité immédiate du port et de randonnées.

L'hébergement est vraiment très petit et adapté uniquement pour un couple. Le canapé lit est inconfortable et une fois déplié, plus personne ne bouge. Nous avons eu la chance d'avoir du soleil mais j'imagine que ça peut devenir très compliqué en cas de mauvais temps. 
ha oui, n'oubliez pas les courses avant de venir ! 1/2 heure de route jusqu'au premier magasin.

Chatka je na odlehlejším místě ostrova a cesta od obydlenější oblasti trvá cca 30 minut. Výhled je ale dechberoucí a za hory zapadá slunce. Fotky na webu nejsou zdaleka tak pěkné, jak to tam ve skutečnosti vypadá. Chatka je výborně zařízená a je myšleno i na nejmenší detaily. U chatky je parkování a rovněž možnost využít venkovní sezení a gril. Kuchyň je velmi pěkně vybavená a nic v ní nechybí.

I spent my 30th birthday in the cabin at Elgol and to say it was magical is an understatement. The cabin itself is gorgeous let alone its setting. If you looking for something special or just a beautiful peaceful escape surrounded by nature this is the place. Thank you for being such kind hosts we would 1000% come back! Suzi and Tom

Das Tiny House hat alle Erwartungen übertroffen. Tolles Design, gute Raumaufteilung, most stunning view. Man kommt an, fühlt sich gleich wohl und fährt sofort runter. Ich komme wieder!

Maar toen we aankwamen was het in het huisje bloedheet en er was geen mogelijkheid om iets open te zetten omdat het tegen alle ramen wemelde van de muggen. Dus slapen was lastig. Daarom s’ochtends om 7 alweer vertrokken.
We vonden het ook niet echt schoon… vieze ramen, stoffig op sommige plekken en een smerig sponsje in het aanrecht.
Dus wij hadden het ons iets anders voorgesteld.

Cannot express how the photos do not do the view justice! Completely outrageous setting. The cabin has everything you need and is very comfortable. Fraser was very welcoming and responsive. Couldn’t possibly recommend this place enough. Quick walk down to the beach and jetty for the misty isle boat trips!

Everything prepared by owner was perfect and made us feel at home. Although the cabin is not so big, it has wonderful view, was very lovely and cozy. We very enjoyed our stay here and almost forgot the rainy days.

Stunning view! The place was really open and light, and the bed was so comfortable. The view of the mountains was just incredible. We had pretty much everything we needed.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful.  The house is tiny but there is everything you need (just like at home), it is well equipped and clean. The location is perfect for exploring the surrounding area. The weather was lovely, so we were able to enjoy the sunset. We would definitely recommend this place to other travellers and would love to stay here again.

There is so much to like. The incredible views are standout, even for Skye. The drive to Elgol also includes some exceptional scenery. The property is well thought out, warm and clean, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. I loved watching the fishermen at work in the distant harbour, and the fluffy sheep migrate down the hill every evening. It's quiet and peaceful. The hosts are warm, thoughtful and available if needed.

Our hosts were super helpfuly and really easy to contact. The cabain has pretty much everything you need for an off grid holiday.

More hooks or foldable racks for drying/hanging clothes would be helpful.

We had a lovely peaceful few days staying in Elgol. The location was beautiful & even with the mixed Scottish weather we enjoyed our cosy fire in the cabin overlooking the stunning scenery. Would definitely recommend!

The home was lovely modern and clean, very homely. I could not recommend this place anymore, very peaceful! Views were so stunning and perfect spot to watch the sunset. Small additions such as games and a little token gift to welcome us!

We had a great stay at the cabin, everything you could need is there, the welcome book is very helpful. The cabin was cosy and warm, loved the fire and it was really easy to use. Our stay was absolutely amazing. Such a great get-away location. The cabin has everything you need for an extended time (e.g. cooking facilities). Elgol is a lovely and peaceful part of the Isle of Skye.

View from the cabin is amazing. Even if the weather turns foul you won't mind as chilling on the lounge looking through the massive windows out onto that view is something else.

Great getaway spot with a killer view.

Our stay couldn't have been more perfect. The tiny house is beautiful, chic, comfortable and cosy. We seen the brightest rainbows and shooting stars.  Immaculately clean and had all the essentials we needed. Lovely hot shower, TV netflix and cosy fire. The guest book is filled with testimonials from guests from around the world raving about their stay. I would say it was a perfect size for the two of us and the dog. We left the kids with grandparents.

The tail end of Storm Darragh was passing on our first night and it was quite loud while sleeping, but that's just the nature of this type of build and I wouldn't expect less in the exposed coast line. The second night all was calm and dreamy.

Cuillin Cabin - wow! The most beautiful place we have ever stayed. The view is breathtaking and one you wake up too everyday, it never gets old! The cabin has everything you need and has been designed to perfection. It’s small but cosy. The owners were so lovely, despite not getting to talk in person we always got a very smiley wave which made us feel right at home! We can’t wait to go back one day. Elgol is simply magical.
