Inviting 5-Bed House in 1066 County - Battle

They have thought of everything, made you feel at home and not in an air BNB. From the welcome milk, Prosecco and a chocolate on the pillow to the games, freezer full of ice and Doritos and drip on arrival, it was amazing. Beautifully decorated. Great size rooms. We were a hen do and we’re made to feel so welcome. You don’t know the owners are on site but you know where they are if you need them. Couldn’t recommend more! My favourite part- you can follow the sun from the back garden all around the house!

The bedrooms were amazing, so much space and they were clean and the beds very comfy! Dave was so responsive to any questions we had and was available throughout our stay. We had a fantastic time and I truly couldn’t fault anything about the stay! Couldn’t recommend more, what a gem of a find this was! From 10 very happy hens.

Absolutely stunning property that is so well designed! We stayed here for a hen do weekend and it was absolutely ideal - well equipped kitchen, lovely big communal spaces that still felt cosy and really big rooms with plenty of en suites. The hot tub was also a real highlight - lots of space and even played music! I’d love to come back!

We hired this lovely home for my sister's hen do and it was perfect! Plenty of space (living space is bigger than it looks in the photos!), great sound system, wonderful hot tub. Could not recommend more!

A beautiful, spacious home with plenty of room for 10 ladies. Well equipped and located with everything you need on your doorstep.

Fantastic property in a beautiful location. Ideally situated to explore the local area and easily accessible to the historic town of Battle. The hosts were really welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. The property is extremely well equipped to a really high standard. A bonus is having a hot tub on site to relax in the evening, chilling out. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in the area.

The house was beautifully clean and had all the amenities we needed for a large group.

We stayed here for a friends 50th birthday. Everyone was really impressed with the house, the amount of space, its layout, the facilities available. It really was a lovely place to stay and very well equipped. The hot tub was great too, lovely and warm and very clean. We also loved visiting Battle. Lots to do and dome great places to eat. Thank you for a great weekend, the whole group had a fabulous time and we all agreed that we would definitely visit again.

A lovely, luxurious place to stay. The hot tub and underfloor heating were particularly special and we would recommend as a great place to stay for groups.

We had such a wonderful hen do at the house. hosts were very helpful and communicative. the house itself is so spacious with very comfortable beds, all the amenities you'd want in the kitchen, sound system and the hot tub was incredible! you don't need to plan to go out as you can just enjoy the space for all it has to offer! Battle isn't far away though and a really sweet town.

Everything about house, facilities, garden were excellent

Nowhere close to walk dog. Very dangerous road outside with limited pavement. As location is very rural was hoping for open are or woods to exercise our dog. Didn't detract from our lovely weekend.

What a lovely place to stay, everything we needed home from home. Spotlessly clean, nice and warm/cosy. Underfloor hearing was a huge bonus 🙂 beds were so comfortable and easily accommodated 8 adults with a room still to spare! The bathrooms were spotless and the showers were great with plenty of hot water. There was a hairdryer in Each room, an iron and ironing board , and 2 travel cots(not needed by us but a great addition for families with small children) . The dining table seated 8 adults easily . The surrounding area is lovely with Battle village just a 20 minute walk away.. The hosts were very friendly, and answered all my questions promptly and went above and beyond with arrival/departure timings . Would definitely book to stay here again .

we stayed at this lovely property to celebrate my 50th birthday. The house was spacious and beautifully decorated. The open plan living, kitchen and dining area was great for cooking and socialising. The place is surrounded by trees providing beautiful and relaxing views from every window. would definitely recommend this place to friends and family who are looking for comfort and relaxation.

We had a brilliant stay - would highly recommend and would return. Some nice touches by providing a welcome pack and games to play. Good location and we walked into and out of Battle, which has a very nice high street.

Lovely stay in a beautiful home. Everything was seamless. Games etc were a nice touch. Everything you could need in the kitchen and plenty of space. Loved it, highly recommend.

We had an amazing time - very well-equipped and beautiful. Was a joy to stay and tones of space. Being distant from neighbours meant we could relax and spend lots of time in the hot tub.

Exactly like photos ,super clean and a great time away. Had games set up ready to use and responsive helpful hosts. Really good place to stay for a quiet get away with a large group.

Really beautiful home with lovely owners. Great space and nice to have multiple rooms with en-suite. Really good extra bits that made our stay lovely, great surround sound music system, fantastic covered over hot tub with Bluetooth speaker, large dining table in open plan area for meals and lovely welcome gift too

We stayed here for the weekend to celebrate my 40th birthday. The house is absolutely stunning. Very spacious. There were 10 of us and it has plenty of bathrooms. The beds were extremely comfy. The hot tub was definitely a great addition. David showed us round making us feel very welcome. There was plenty of fridge space and we got an Asda delivery scheduled for when we arrived. The welcome pack is a lovely touch. We wish we could have stayed for longer. I would definitely recommend this lovely house and hope to stay again in the future. Thank you for a great stay 😊

Everything was great, the Prosecco, chocolate, crisps and nuts was a lovely welcome so thank you for that. Everything was very easy/smooth, lockbox was easy to find, directions to the property were also appreciated. Nothing but positive feedback, the property is lovely and we also appreciated the sun loungers, glasses specifically for the hot tub, plenty of towels, and lots of games available in the garden! Made for a perfect girls weekend away & we’d love to return!

Blackfirs Farm is a fantastic property and we had a fabulous weekend there. Hosts David & Sandra were wonderful. Clear instructions from the start, the property exceeded expectation in terms of aesthetics and amenities. The level of attention to detail was exceptional. From the extra towels, to chocolate by the bedside and snacks and prosecco upon arrival, they made us feel incredibly welcome. As on-site hosts, their presence was less than minimal and we felt more than comfortable to speak to them if there were any questions. I would 100% recommend and would love to return. I couldn't be any more complimentary. Thank you very much Sandra and David!

A beautiful house, great amenities, well planned layout with many bedrooms with ensuites perfect for a girls trip! We had an amazing time and will definitely be back.

The house was absolutely stunning and in a perfect location to the Abbey where we were attending a wedding. The home perfectly accommodated 2 x families and had everything we required.

We stayed as a group of 6 for a couple of nights and absolutely loved the house. David was straight out to meet us and showed us around and let us know the initial bits about heating, the oven and the hot tub. We also arrived to a little welcome package too which was lovely. The pictures of the house are great but we were really impressed once we got in. The space is really good, with a great size seating area, kitchen and table to eat at. We had everything we needed, the kitchen was well equipped with more than enough storage - two fridge freezers, a wine cooler and plenty of space to cook. The hot tub was also a lovely edition, not too far from the house and under a little shelter so you were protected from the elements! David was really helpful, we had a tyre issue and he went out of his way to help and answer any questions we had. We'd definitely recommend and stay again, the house is beautiful! Thank you x

The house really is lovely. Nice big rooms, lovely decor, comfy beds, clean and spacious bathrooms and a great hot tub too! Really handing having 2 fridges and a wine cooler too. Everything was clean and tidy. And the treats left for us from the owners was a lovely touch. I'd recommend.

Beautiful house in the countryside. Perfect for a friends birthday get away. Much bigger then the pictures. All open plan downstairs. Great kitchen to cook meals for everyone. Hot tub under cover so perfect if raining. We loved our stay here.

We had the perfect staycation at David & Sandra’s lovely home! After booking, they reached out with a detailed email which preempted any questions we might have had and clearly set out the check in procedure. Despite arriving later than the check in time, we received an enthusiastic welcome and had a tour of the house which made us feel right at home. The interior was even more impressive in person and the heated floors were a real treat. In terms of cleanliness, everything was completely pristine. In the kitchen, there’s plenty of fridge space and excellent appliances which made preparing meals straightforward. I could go on and on praising this place but the bottom line is that I can’t fault it! If you’ve got the chance, definitely book a stay here.

We had a lovely 3 nights stay here. The house was beautifully clean, the beds very comfortable and it really felt home-from- home! We were greeted by the lovely hosts who provided a nice welcome pack (bottle of bubbly and nibbles) We enjoyed the hot tub which was beautifully warm and relaxing. The location was about 5 minutes drive from Battle and we spent one morning visiting the famous Battle Abbey. We also visited Rye, Camber Sands and Chapel Down Vineyard. I would thoroughly recommend this house.
