Inviting 3-Bed House in Lowestoft near the beach

Die Zimmer waren recht groß. Die Küche war gut ausgestattet.

Es war teilweise dreckig. Die Heizung war defekt. Eine Nachttischlampe war kaputt. 2 kleine Fenster ließen sich nicht schließen.

Good location for the beach, boutique shops, and The Chippy which was a great fish and chips restaurant all in walking distance. The house was well furnished with comfortable beds. A great base to visit Africa Alive.

Some more kitchen utensils would have been helpful, such as chopping boards. The shower controls were confusing, great when it was figured out!

The keys were easy to find

It was grotty and grubby. It smelt bad, very musty, and it didn't look like it had been cleaned. We found chicken bones on a shelf in the bedroom, chicken skin on the windowsill. There was a dirty pair of boxershorts in the bedroom. Some of the windows didn't open, others had broken frames. The rubbish bins outside were overflowing, so we couldn't empty our rubbish. The garden wall has fallen down, so no privacy. Curtains hanging off the rails. Just awful. Also, the basin in the downstairs loo needs to be fixed. When you run the tap water goes down the plughole and on to your feet! 🙄🤦‍♀️😄

The house was nice and big and the bedrooms were spacious

It wasn't very clean and the skirting board was rotting away in one bedroom needs some tlc

It’s spacious enough for 6 persons only as sofabed is broken, once it’s fixed, that’ll be for x8 person. Property have fairly big kitchen with dishwasher. The property has 2x reception/sitting area which is nice. Massive size telly with swivel brackets. Just few minutes away from seaside and we all enjoyed the arcade. Small shops & chippy within few minutes walk & few minutes drive to Asda’s

There’s no wifi as advertised, host was contacted but issue with wifi wasn’t resolved. Advertised as with fire place but don’t work, it’s just there for show. Heating keeps on shutting down. Tumble dyer was faulty as trip switches go off as you switch it on. Sofa bed is supposed to be for the 7th & 8th person but it’s broken & no extra bed sheets provided. We ended up sleeping on the floor, should we known, we could have brought in sleeping bags or airbed. Upstairs bathroom window wont shut, no heating in bathroom, not very pleasant for bath or shower.

The TV was good and we could access all the streaming platforms. The shower was nice and powerful. There was plenty of space for the 5 of us.

I don't really know where to start...never stayed in such an awful area. Rubbish strewn around the street, people screaming and shouting during the night. Broken glass outside the front door in the yard area, back garden unsafe to use. Broken slabs, rusty nails places. The house had a terrible smell to it. Almost like cat wee. Windows were either very stiff or didn't open at all. The window in the bathroom was broken and hanging off. The house wasn't very clean. The back door didn't seal properly leaving a gap at the top. The front door had no letter box so if it had rained it would have got very wet inside. Near the fuse box had cut wires coming from the ceiling. The lights in the kitchen kept shorting the electric and only 4 bulbs worked. In the main bedroom there was evidence of a major leak from the roof. Plaster had fallen down and was discoloured. I'm so glad it didn't rain during our stay, I dread to think what may have happened. In the twin bedroom it looked like water had been running down the wall. I have never stayed anywhere before where I felt it was unsafe like this place. I even contacted booking.com with no response. These private rentals should be vetted somehow. I will probably never use booking.com again. We even had to buy a smoke alarm for the property. To be fair the owners did reimburse the cost but it's not acceptable to rent a house out in such a state. We spent all day outdoors and only came back to the house to sleep. We had such a lovely week away and it was such a shame the accommodation ruined part of it. The house looks like it is being done up by monkeys. Even the taps in the bathroom have been put the wrong way around!!

Wonderful home. Loads of space, more dinning areas than in the pictures. Sturdy furniture. Loads of light. Warm, inviting and comfortable. Double living room too. On street parking, -free. Lots of extra bed options around the house. Semi-detached. Fab new kitchen with all utensils including dishwasher and washing machine. Very close to the beach and high street. Lots to do.

Après avoir joint Airbnb, nous avons trouvé le code inscrit sur le mur de la maison.. du jamais vu 😱 Travelnest nous a envoyé un code dans la soirée.. Deux fenêtres étaient cassées, impossible à fermer. La cour arrière en travaux, nous supposons vu l'état.. Maison qui a besoin d'entretien, porte difficile à fermer et ouvrir, papier peint qui se décolle, trace d'humidité, robinet WC du bas qui coule. Très déçu de tout cela et inacceptable de ne pas avoir un code à temps pour pouvoir rentrer dans une maison qui nous avons payé une certaine somme!

Great place to stay. We were there for Christmas and New Year. Had everything we needed for the seven of us. It is spacious, well equipped and retains a cozy feeling. Easy to walk to the seafront, train station and town centre. The hosts were great, very responsive and always helpful. We would definitely go back!

Clean comfortable house. Lots of space. Very close to beach and local shops.

Only down side was small double bed was metal framed and made an awful noise with every slight movement.

Er was sprake van 2 badkamers, maar er was slechts één badkamer en een apart toilet.

The property was in a good location, it was clean and open. They provided necessities, it was also cozy and homely. Overall a great stay. Would definitely come back again in the future.

Not much, but one thing to flag are the internal doors handles and latches. The upstairs bathroom door is difficult to open- our 7 year old couldn’t get out of the bathroom and panicked. The upstairs middle room door handle is very loose and fell off. Had the price been a bit cheaper, we would have book more nights eg £600 for 3 nights rather than £500 for 2

Me and my team had amazing stay, very friendly host and the place was very cozy and clean. Would definitely recommend if you are thinking to stay in Lowestoft.

Lovely, deceptively large house, clean comfortable, would definitely recommend, only thing i would improve is to have some garden furniture

spacious and close to restaurants and town.

NO heating downstairs, the small heater that was in there did nothing at all! the hairdryer was broken, the towels where too small, mould in the the dining room under the window, loose toilets, broken window in the bathroom.When we first arrived there was no heating on at all, or electric on in the living room.You are unable to park anywhere near to the property due to very busy street and we had a disabled person with us.

Good sized spacious property for an end-terrace property in south lowestoft. Property was well maintained, clean and tidy. The only issue we found was there is no central heating downstairs and the property in the family areas lounge / dining room was really cold. There is underfloor heating in kitchen and small electric fire mobile unit but neither made any difference to the temperature of the house. Upstairs heating was fine.

This is a very comfortable and well presented house, we found the neighbourhood to be very quiet. Although there is no off street parking, we did not find this to be a problem. The house is in easy reach of the beach and town centre and although no welcome pack is provided, there are local shops within easy reach and a large Asda just a short walk away. I would recommend this property if you are looking to stay in the area.
