Stunning 5-Bed Cabin in Ashton Under Hill

The cabin is clean and well equipped. The cabin is on a camping site with extra toys, bikes and activities (mini golf, ping pong and table football) available to use. Great for a children as all is in a safe and secure area. Each cabin also has a fire pit for BBQ or just chilling by.

Perfect place for exploring the Cotswolds. Great space and clean and tidy Highly highly recommend

Lovely cabin, very cosy and well stocked. Owner was very helpful over the phone and came down to check if we needed anything. Hot tub was amazing and relaxing.

Great location in a quiet field with lots of birds but right by easy travel links. Lovely, big cabin with excellent hot tub. Towels etc all provided as well as parking. Lovely little touches like games to play provided and oil/condiments in kitchen.

Had an issue with cleaning but the manager was very quick to offer a solution.

Second time staying here. It’s so beautiful and perfect for us! My brother is in a wheelchair so it’s super accessible. It’s in a great location with lots of attractions within half an hours drive. The hot tub is sooo fab too! The cabins are cosy and have everything you need - and the host is great at communicating with anything you need.

Modern, clean well furnished lodge. Our new goto whenever we come to see family on the local area, will definitely be back

Lovely Cabin, lovely cafe and pub near by, in walking distance. Very well appointed and comfortable beds and furniture.

Easy instructions before arrival and the place was amazing. Nice change from the usual hotels we get put in. Hottub was a lovely addition after a hard day's work.

Great place to stay

The cabin was great for six family members. Hot tub was hot and enjoyable. Kitchen equipment adequate. Local pub the Star great. Local walk maps great. We did number 6, 5 miles. Pub half way.

A few more kitchen bits would be good. More plates mugs. Cutlery , etc. Not a major problem. Table sticky. Not cleaning issue think somethings gone wrong with varnish or wax. Probably needs sanding down and re doing. No electric point in one bedroom.

Great lodge, good location, had everything you needed do spit on really. Could do with a couple more mirrors and bedside tables.

Very lovely wood cabin with plenty of space for a family of 4 (would definitely be large enough for more). Hot tub was a nice touch. Only stayed for 2 nights bit it was perfect for a stop off on a longer journey. Cabin has air con and everything else you'd need! great stay

Beautiful location and a very comfortable stay! The cabin felt quite new and the beds were comfy. We loved the hot tub and fire pit bbq, there was plenty of places to visit nearby and on site there were some games to play like giant connect 4 and mini golf. Overall we were all very happy with our stay and would definitely visit again. Many thanks!

Spacious, great location, overall good facilities. Good tv provision. Nice walk into Ashton under hill over the fields. Excellent play facilities outside ….croquet, swing ball…pitch n putt.

It may be personal preference, but we didn’t really find the sofas very comfortable. Didn’t think the bath was necessary….a shower cubicle would have been preferable. The car parking outside this particular chalet was VERY uneven with a steep slope at the approach. I had to park awkwardly to avoid ripping the front spoiler of our car off ! ……..and…..our neighbours for 3 nights were motorway contractors…..3 large vans with compressors as trailers…..not being a snob but we didn’t expect a road crew to roll up at tea time every day and be leaving for work at 6.30 am !

Loved the quiet location & parking & the chalet was so spacious & clean , will be booking again !!

Maybe a smaller screen / fence to provide some more privacy when using the hut tub ! But that’s all !!! Could’nt fault anything about the lodge it was super 🤗

Great place for a weekend away - so many different footpaths to explore right from the doorstep. A pub and a cafe both within walking distance. Cabin has everything you need and is very comfortable.

I thought the lodge was perfect, it was clean and contained amazing living space! I really enjoyed my stay and the hosts were very responsive! I moved cottages because the bathroom windows didn’t shut… and they didn’t in the other cottage so that should be looked at. You obviously don’t want to make sure the bathrooms are ventilated but I didn’t feel safe, so I locked that bathroom. Also I drove right past the entrance because it looked like a building site, the cottages are quality but I drove past what looked like a farm broken equipment dump and there are literally yellow containers viewable… that was actually my view. I wasn’t keen on the site, it just didn’t feel welcoming! Despite the cabin being amazing, the drive and field let it down! I left a night early because of that.

cabin was lovely and clean. loads of space for a big family. hottub was nice even in poor weather. was a nice peaceful relaxing break away to chill out, sit round a fire and roast some marshmallows and spend some quality time with the family.

Could have done with a washing machine if staying any longer - especially with the kids!

We stayed over in January.. The weather was awful. the cottage was warm and welcoming it was easy us use either our dogs and practical. lively place to chill even in the storms and floods.

Excellent, spacious, modern, and warm lodge with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The Christmas tree and decorations were a lovely surprise. Hot tub ready to use, clean and very relaxing. Great place for families with kids of all ages.

Cabin is deceptively large, spacious and comfortable and has plenty of things you would need (e.g bin bags, washing up liquid, towels, tea & coffee, etc.) surprising very warm for a cabin too thanks to the under floor heating! Very impressed.

Only thing it could do with is more lighting outside (especially near hot tub) but isn’t too much of an issue.

Good inside space for 5 adults to spend a weekend. Comfy beds & good shower. Hot tub was small but hot & fun!

Could have done with a bit more in the kitchen - crockery & cutlery etc.

Lovely cabin, well equipped and spacious, much more homely than a static caravan. Hot tub was a real treat. Very generous accommodation; there was more there than even listed: board games, outside toys for kids, and a great little play area with table tennis table. Brilliant value for money.

Very nice cabin. Just off the main road but you would never know as it’s located on a private field, surrounded by trees. Easy to find with the postcode and good signage. A 5-10 min drive to a little town with amenities. Board games were provided which was a big plus!

The lodge was well equipped and perfect for our weekend break.

More hooks for hanging towels in the bathroom would have been appreciated.

It was a comfortable clean place

The hot tub . Would have like to use it more. First night not up to temperature and next day it went dirty quick and it was beeping for filter change, so didn’t use it after that.

Fantastic location in a large field with lots of space for the children to run around in. The cabin was large. It was a hot day when we arrived but there are lots of windows so we had a lovely breeze through. Your cabin has plenty of space outside, you aren’t too close to your neighbours (although as we were the only ones there it didn’t apply to us) The hot tub was very popular.

Great location out of the way. Clean house with all amenities that you need! The house was used for tradesmen working nearby who needed local accommodations and it was perfectly suited to allow everyone enough space at the end of a long day.

We have just returned from our stay in the lodge. The lodge was better than expected, lots of room and everything we needed. The only thing that let it down was that the pillows on the beds were very thin, and there were no spares. so if you like larger or lots of pillows, bring your own! My only other qualm is that I did contact the property prior to booking to ask if there was an enclosed private garden as we were taking our 6 month old Puppy and the photos were not clear. They told me that there was an enclosed private garden. But unfortunatelythis was not the case. There was a separate garden, but it opened up directly onto the large field. So we could not let him off the lead to have a roam around. which was a bit disappointing. All in all, we had a relaxing couple of days away, which is what we wanted. The hot tub was a big hit with the kids!

The property was clean and comfortable and warm despite cold weather. It was in a good location with easy access to a good pub in AShton Under Hill within walking distance and really good food

Better explanation of how to work the under floor heating and space heating in lounge. Needs more hooks for coats and rails for drying wet towels. More cooking equipment - no grill pan or oven trays. No door mat to protect the floor from mud on entering the property. Needs improved lighting over the sink - very difficult to wash up in evening after dark. Access road onto the property very uneven and pot holed especially after turning in off the Groaten.

The cabin is huge and such a good size for the family. For the price we paid it’s such good value rather than getting a one bed hotel room for the same price. really nice village a little walk down the road. big field outside the cabin that the kids could just run off and play in. we were visiting family that live local and would definitely book again :)

heating controls a bit fiddly

The lodge is huge and there is plenty of room for everyone. The beds are cosy and you are provided with linen and towels. The hot tub is a real treat and we took full advantage using it! The fire pit in the evening is a great touch. The surroundings are beautiful and the location is great. The host was very responsive and we would definitely stay again. Thank you very much for having us!

I have so many mixed opinions. It was exactly as it deserved, lots of information provided inside and they were kind enough to get a balloon for my husband on his 40th but it was freezing. The heating turned off quickly and wasn’t easy to sort, the bath was dirty and didn’t have baking trays to cook with or extra bin bags. The hot tub is a nice little extra, was clean and ready for us when we arrived. Only problem with the hot tub is going from inside to the tub itself, it’s all stones. I did not bring any shoes except trainers so would recommend flip flops.

Went away for my 30th birthday with some friends. It was perfect weekend. Would definitely go back!

couldn’t work out how to turn the heating down it was very hot at times. the site didn’t quite looked finished I.e could still see where there footings had been dug around the cabins, children’s play area looked tired.

It was fabulous for a blended family of six. A great space and everything we needed. Even greeted with a Christmas tree! Highly recommend.

There was nothing to dislike. Would recommend hooks behind all doors to hang coats and towels.

First of all, huge thanks to Charlotte (actual owner) who is very responsive and made our stay very comfortable and went over and beyond, travel nest (the one who manages booking in airbnb) is also responsive :) The place is huge and beautiful. Has all the basic needs including bits for cooking (bring your hair dryer and clothes iron though!). We did have some hard time finding the house at first but not a problem as it’s in a peaceful and great location for relaxing. Was able to do some tour around cotswolds too. But if you dont have car, i suggest to bring every supply needed as stores are quite far. Great addition was the bubble tub and the grilling area. Overall great stay for me and my friends over the Christmas Holiday. Definitely recommended! ❤️

The cabin is lovely and the surrounding area is beautiful. The site however is still under construction which made it feel less special. Further, the hot tub wasn't ready until the second day which was disappointing seeing as we specifically booked a hot tub break. The hot tub itself wasn't great, just a small blow up one with no seats. It also would have been nice to have some lights above the hot tub. There was no tea or coffee provided and no hair dryer, simple things you expect to be there, even in the most basic hotels and holiday lets. There is a 10 o'clock curfew which was not advertised which wasn't ideal for us. Generally, I'd say this was a nice family vacation spot that has the potential to be great when finished but it's not ideal for a group of friends who want a hot tub break.

Absolutely beautiful break. morning sunsets were stunning from the comfort and warmth of the hottub. Beautiful cabin, felt like we were in a swiz alps log cabin inside. fantastic location and beautifully decorated. we will definitely be back.
