Stunning 5-Bed Cabin in Ashton Under Hill

Very nice place, plenty of space to relax. Clean and quiet.

The cabin was lovely, had everything we needed however the grounds were dire - on a noisy main road and not secluded like the photos suggested. There were dirty old kids toys strewn everywhere and our spa had no fence so any other guests could see walking past. We left after one night and we’d paid for three.

It was nice to have a hot tub but it would have been beneficial to have it screened off from the field where the campers were for a bit more privacy

Lovely stay, can't recommend it enough. Lovely surroundings, a short walk to the pub and the fire pit to toast marshmallows just outside the cabin in a nice touch. Would definitely return

A very spacious lodge, clean and well presented, cafe within a 10 minute walking distance and supermarket a 10 minute drive away. Information pack in lodge was very useful for nearby pubs and takeaways if you didn’t fancy cooking?!

We had good family time and the cabin was worth the pay.

Badger's Sett at Groaten was a great find. It was spacious and very clean. Well located for exploring the beautiful local villages of Broadway and Elmley Castle. It was useful having 2 bathrooms with 5 of us staying there.

Amazing experience for the kids, celebrating my 6 year olds birthday! He absolutely loved it and the hot tub was ready at arrival

Great little getaway for family and friends in the Cotswolds! Good price and has everything you need, warm and well laid out. Private, peaceful and plenty of space. Over Christmas they put up some lovely Christmas decorations including a tree, so made for a cosy cabin when watching Christmas movies. 100% recommend!

Great Stay at the cabin! We were 4 guests with an infant and two little dogs! All that we needed was provided for with really thoughtful touches! Would definitely recommend!

Such a lovely place to stay. This is the second time we have stayed here and we will definitely be booking again. It's clean, warm and comfortable with everything you could need. The hot tub is an excellent touch!

Fantastic stay for our group! Was private quiet and perfect for us! As a preference we would like to have had more and bigger towels and missed a cork screw, but everything else was great!

Lovely spacious cabins, clean and well equipped with essentials. Hot tub was clean and well Maintained, fire pit /bbq was a lovely addition.

Lovely cabin in beautiful surroundings. Perfect for a relaxing get away. Would definitely have benefitted if we had brought our own car as town was a fair bit away but there was a bus into town and we had intended to mainly relax and enjoy the surroundings so was lovely all the same. Hot tub and fire pit and games inside the cabin so plenty to do without going out. Great host and good communication, would definitely recommend.

Our second visit to Badgers Sett, great to relax and have some fun with my family . I want one of these cabins one day! Superb would highly recommend.

The cabin was just what we wanted for a toddler and two kids. lots of space inside and clutter free. oppiste a large grass area for football, basketball an running around. I wouldn't call it luxury but you got what you saw and it suited our needs. would return as a good location to see family

It was so lovely and peaceful. my only feedback would be to have a small fenced area where the dogs could have sat outside on the hot days without leads.

Good value for the location and amenities, especially when the property is full. Could have done with some better instructions on finding the property. Hot tub was great and the setting was quiet even though there are a few cabins around. Kitchen had most equipment you might need. Beds were comfortable.

What a lovely place! We so enjoyed staying at the cabin with our 4 boys. The hosts were so welcoming and helpful. The place was great, had everything we needed. The outside space was amazing with lots of things for our children to play with. We will definitely be back!

The continuous road noise from A46. We are not used to it so it was an issue for us

Perfect stay!

The cabin was really nice and spacious. My son had lots of choices for wheeled activities and really enjoyed the open space. Every basic kitchen needs were already provided which is great since we cooked everyday. Just had a bit of an issue with the smell of the cabin, which I think is pretty normal. But the smell of the wood was a bit too strong especially for asthmatic people like us. All in all, it was a great stay.

The cabin was easy to find and easy to check in. The entrance was could do with a spruce up as could the garden to the right of each cabin, but the cabin itself was clean and had everything you needed. It was lovely and quiet but their were no campers, so not sure how that would impact the peace and quiet. Good location and there is a pub within 15 mins walking distance (we didn't try it, but it looked cute) and a play area in 10 mins walk down a track so safe for children. The hot tub was on and very warm but there is no seating area within it (for those who are not that mobile). The beds were very comfy and the cabin was really warm in April. Overall, we had a great time and was a good venue to meet up with friends and safe for families.

We had a great couple of days here and wished we had booked another night to make more use of the hot tub and local surroundings. Spacious, clean and well equipped. Loved the outside space for our kids to play in and the cabin was brilliant. Will be back!

So glad we booked this cabin as a last minute break, it was brilliant! Exactly as described and pictures shown, really spacious cabin to sleep 5 of us plus our dog. We will certainly book again

We visited on Christmas & Boxing day as a group of family [5 adults & 1 small dog). During our stay was rain and strong wind. but that didn't disturb our peaceful stay. there are plenty of room for us grown up, with 2 separate toilet (1 en-suite) fully equipped kitchen & cleaning products. it's totally home from home. Everything cleaned and fully functioned. The hot tub fits us all 5 adults. Great for relaxing after day out. We love the place, just bear in mind this is a camp site, it would be busy and could be crowded during popular season. We will recommend to a friends & family. Thank you so much for Xmas hamper... it was such a special touch.

Nice place. Clean and exactly what we needed for a peaceful and relaxing weekend away. Helpful local guide and felt right at home during our stay.

We spent two nights here for a mini break and absolutely loved it. Having a toddler and a terrier means somewhere suitable for both of them can be tricky but this place was perfect, three lodges in a line with private hot tubs and a lovely big field in front for them to run around in. Lodge was beautifully decorated and so cosy, will definitely be recommending to friends and family xx

Great stay in our lodge and ideal to bring the dog. They have a lovely field to walk and play in across from the lodge. And nice and central to lots of fun locations to explore. Lodge was great and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Thank you for being great hosts

Spacious and comfortable stay, footpaths straight from the site leading to a lovely park. Really enjoyed would stay again. Only thing is would have been handy if outside area fenced for the dog.

Lovely wood cabin in a tranquil location

Lovely clean cabin with basic kitchen equipment provided. Hot tub was a great addition but a bit dark to use in the evening. There was a lack of bins in rooms - except in kitchen. The lighting outside the cabin is non existent at night and after we returned on the second evening in the dark, one member of the party tripped over the railway sleepers and injured her back. A sensor light on the outside of the cabin would make it a lot safer.

Beautiful cabin and ideal location for walking.

Whist the accommodation suited our needs it was not what we expected. Rather than a private home it was a multipurpose campsite. The cabin was generally well appointed and family friendly, although the provision of laundry facilities would have been a bonus.

We had a great weekend here, the hosts were very proactive with providing extremely clear check in instructions. The property was clean, well kitted out, and well looked after. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. The fire pit was very handy, we brought some wood and firelighters although I believe there is wood available to purchase on site (which we didn't need to do). The hot tub was really clean and piping hot (it can be turned down!). Although the other cabins were occupied and there were also campers adjacent, we found it very peaceful. It was great to be able to bring the dog too. We hope to return again and we would recommend this property to families and / or groups of friends.

The cabin was very spacious and comfortable. The hot tub and private garden was good, but also the children had a safe enclosed field to run about on with various things provided for them to play with, my children loved feeding the rabbits and chickens. We had a bbq on the field which was lovely. The surrounding area is great with lots to see only short distances, Dovers Hill is fantastic if you like to walk.

We had a lovely weekend stay in Badgers Setts cabin. 4 adults and 2 children. Great place for the children to burn off some steam in the field opposite, with toys/bikes to play with. Although we couldn’t use the hot tub on the first night due to the water temperature, it was certainly worth the wait, as made for a lovely wind down with a glass of Prosecco after a long day at The Game Fair. Bathroom floor was a little dirty, some areas could do with a dust and a mirror in the twin rooms would’ve been handy. Other than those small things, I would definitely recommend and would come back again in the future!

A group of friends had a lovely birthday weekend at the cabin. The bedrooms were comfy & bug nets appreciated on windows! Kitchen was well equipped with lots to use. Lack of cleaning sources so we needed to buy more toilet roll, hand wash, surface cleaner and bin bags for our stay. Large living space with TV & entertainment was a nice touch (access to prime etc and board games). Hot tub was lovely, very hot initially so let it air first! It felt private despite being next to 3 other cabins & campers but a very quiet & peaceful site. Doors & windows are tricky to shut, you have to give it a strong pull! Garden area could do with weeding (now that it’s summer), some stingy nettles/spiky weeds at our feet. Sadly the bathroom shower curtain was stained yellow at the bottom, could do with replacing, otherwise clean elsewhere. I booked this place as a suprise for my dad's 60th. Charlotte and her brother were really nice owners. They gave us wood to burn on the firepit as we ran out, and Charlotte even put some 60th banners and a balloon up inside free of charge. This has made my dad's birthday. He loved every minute of it. We will definitely return again.

The site isn't amazingly sign posted from main road but as it was still light it was easy enough to find, others may struggle in dark evenings. The lodge was lovely, very comfortable beds, had all the bits you would need (although could of done with a few more toilet rolls). The lodge overlooks a lovely big field and has plenty of parking for a group. The beds were very comfy, I would of liked some cleaning products to be provided for the weekend just as the kitchen got messy from cooking but nothing to clear it up, felt bad leaving the place a little untidy. I had an issue with someone on site who claimed my puppy needed to be on a lead, although there was no signage and it was lovely that she could roam safe & freely - when reported to the host, she went above and beyond to apologise about this altercation and left a goody bag of dog toys & treats whilst we were out for the day, it was such a lovely touch & made me feel very comfortable again. Highly recommend & would return! x

A lovely place to stay for a weekend catch up with friends. The hot tub was ready for us to use, and the kitchen was well equipped. The TV with internet is a really nice touch.

We are just back from a two night stay. The property was immaculate & a great size & layout. Nice little pub within walking distance. We took a 10 min drive to do the circular walk which was lovely. Everything we needed was in the cabin & the host was great at checking we were ok. Will definitely return. Thank you charlotte

Had a lovely few days in this spacious lodge. There is a beautiful village in walking distance, with a very friendly pub. It's a great area to go on walks if you have a dog. The beds were comfy and clean. Only criticism really is that it felt a bit "unfinished". The towel rail didn't work, the heating didn't work but used a heater in the living room to take the chill off, there wasn't any bins in the bathrooms, no broom or vacuum. They're all little nags really and didn't spoil our stay. Also, as others have said, there's no light outside. That would be a great asset when using the hot tub. Overall, we had a chilled few days as a family. Thank you

Great place to stay so laid back it was beautiful. Only critic I have is no light outside for the hot tub. Charlotte was lovely and easily contactable.

The cabin was very clean and value for money. The hot tub was a nice touch. Plenty of hot water. Good pub in walking distance. There was, however, quite a bit missing: The directions could be more specific, hard to find in the dark. Host was responsive when we called. It was quite cold and heating was difficult to work out. There was no dishcloth or cleaning products. No spare bin liners. Kitchen amenities were sparse, with no corkscrew. Would have benefitted from some cushions and a blanket or two. Description says 'stunning' the site is still being developed and next to what looks like an industrial unit/building site. The field the cabins look out onto has solar panels. Overall a good stay, but very basic amenities.

Just come back from a lovely 2 night stay here. Cabin was lovely. It was spacious, well equipped with everything you needed. Comfy sofas. Plenty of space for the dog. Rooms were lovely and comfortable. Will be back again in the near future!

They are stunning cabins and comfortable! Had a beautiful welcome hamper and cheeses in the fridge. A wonderful touch! Would benefit having a broom to be able to sweep daily and have a cordoned off area to keep dogs safe. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back!

There was a group of four of us females for a birthday and we had a lovely stay! Hot tub was a lovely addition- just a shame there wasn’t a light outside so even though we were out there at 7pm we couldn’t really see much. The place was very spacious and comfortable. Had everything you needed! Plenty of space to park cars and walk dogs (not that we had any). It was quite hard to find in the dark as the postcode takes you to the other end of the road but we found it in the end! We would definitely recommend and would love to come back in the future. Had a bit of trouble locating the place in the dark, but once we arrived we were really happy with the cabin. Photos don’t really do justice to how roomy and comfortable it is. Plenty of amenities within a 5-10 minute drive. Would recommend DEYA Brewery in Cheltenham (25min drive) if you’re into that sort of thing

immaculate finish inside, felt so cosy and safe here. the perfect log cabin break

would have been great if there were outside lights so you can see whilst in the hot tub. also the doors need curtains as well as the windows otherwise anyone can see into the cabin at night and there’s no privacy. could do with the outside area being a bit more secure due to being dog friendly and so close to the main road. would also recommend the hot tub heat is turned up prior to guest’s arriving as was too cold to use the first night

We had a very relaxing stay here, it's cosy (especially when listening to the rain outside) and we really enjoyed using the hot tub. The cabin is new, so there are a few snagging items but nothing major and would recommend as a great base for exploring the local area.
