18th Century with Stunning Views in Snitterfield

Our week in this lovely, tastefully decorated cottage felt just like being at home—the kitchen was fully equipped, the bed was cozy, and the garden was a great place to sit. The cottage is perfect for two—we’d love to come back!

We had a wonderful stay!

1. 民宿的布置非常细心，很有特色，我老婆和女儿非常喜欢；
2. 房东很贴心，在我们到达的时候，通过门口的对讲告诉我们如何取钥匙；
3. 厨房设置很齐全；
4. 楼上卧室里面的转角书架上的书，我女儿很喜欢，还让我问：能不能向房东买

1. 楼上的双人床有些小，床垫有些软；
2. 建议将书房改成一个单人床，其实书房对于旅游者用处不大，这样对于三口之家就不用铺开客厅的沙发了。

Everything was great - even toiletries, towels, hairdryer, tea, and coffee were provided. The village is lovely. Pub is an easy walk and serves great food.

Nothing to do with the property. A little traffic (road and air) but we couldn't sleep probably because we had to get up very early next morning (and were excited!). We chose to keep the window open - shut it and there will be less noise.

Would not hesitate to recommend.

The house was delightful and had everything you could possibly need for your stay. A wonderful location with a great view from the rear of the property.

Lovely cosy cottage. We had a brilliant few days, had everything you’d have at home, lounge was very homey and comfortable to spend the evenings. Kitchen was a good size and had a nice dining area.

Fairy tale cosy cottage with Amanda being the most exceptional hostess.

We absolutely loved our stay at this cute, welcoming little cottage. From the moment we
arrived, it felt like stepping into a cosy storybook getaway. The space is charming, spotless, and thoughtfully decorated, with so many small touches that make it feel instantly like home.

One of the best parts was the location, so close to Stratford-upon-Avon, which was so convenient for visiting the Christmas market. 

The cottage is the perfect blend of comfort and character it had a wonderful peaceful atmosphere. The host clearly put a lot of care into creating a relaxing experience, and it truly shows.

Whether you’re looking for a restful weekend or a sweet escape from the everyday, this little cottage is an absolute gem. I can’t wait to return.

Absolutely beautiful cosy cottage

Very pretty, lovely little garden with countryside views. Easy to get an uber to from Stratford. Lovely local pub selling lovely food.

Fab, we would definitely return

This lovely traditional cottage was everything we hoped for.  It had the beautiful charm of yesteryear whilst providing all the necessary modern cons.  It was great having the washing machine/dryer for convenience when on a driving holiday and the designated car park was appreciated. The bed was comfy and cosy as was all the furniture.  The village location was very quiet but close enough to easily visit other parts of the Cotswolds.  A local pub provided a great meal and we could prepare a meal at home if wanted.  Also, a very well stocked general/grocery store is a real asset to this small village.  As someone who worked in tourism for 20+ years I would definitely recommend this property to others.  Thanks Amanda, keep up the great work and standard.

The pillows are very flat and uncomfortable (my personal preference though).

Overall we had a lovely time at this lovely cottage in Snitterfield.  It lived up to its ‘charming’ description.

Saltó la alarma de incendios cuando puse dos veces el tostador, pero ventilas y rápidamente se apaga. Las sabanas del sofá, me costó encontrarlas, estaban dentro de una bolsa debajo de la escalera, y estaban bastante arrugadas .No había fundas para las almohadas del sofá.

In a nice quiet location. Loves the vibe of the apartment. Very cosy stay. We enjoyed every moment of our stay. There is a very good restaurant nearby. Stratford upon Avon city centre is a close drive away. We stayed as a family for two nights.

The parking next to the apartment. While driving out of the parking one needs to be very careful of the incoming vehicles as there is a hedge on the side  due to which it is difficult to see the approaching vehicles. Otherwise no complaints.

Our stay at the lovely Cottage was wonderful! The cottage is beautifully restored, blending historic charm with modern comfort. The fireplace was a fantastic addition, creating a cozy atmosphere that we all loved, especially on New Year&#39;s Chilly evenings.

The kids had a blast exploring the games on the porch and relaxing with Netflix and Prime on the TV - perfect for family downtime. The half-opening garden door was a highlight, offering a peaceful morning with birds, field and cup of tea.

The location was ideal, with easy access to Stratford-upon-Avon, and the hosts were thoughtful with every details ensuring everything was perfect. We can’t recommend this charming getaway enough - will be back again for longer break.

One night was simply not enough with so much to explore for kids.

Je ne savais pas qu&#39;il y a deux étages et les sanitaires sont à l&#39;étage. Ce n&#39;est pas très pratique pour les personnes qui dorment dans le salon en bas.

The property was just like home from home.  Exceptionally clean and they have quite literally thought of everything.  Amanda was so helpful, right from the pint of booking the cottage.

We enjoyed our short stay in this cute cottage. It was lovely to be able to spread our our cases and also do some washing at the end of a week&#39;s touring. The cottage was warm and easy to heat as the weather was cold and damp. We were nice and dry inside and our washing dried quickly.

Great pre arrival information from Amanda and a wonderful location overlooking the fields. This is ideal for a couple as there&#39;s only one bedroom but the sofa bed works too. We loved the attention to detail.

Great quiet location and a good night’s sleep on a comfortable bed. Amanda has made the cottage very warm and welcoming with lots of personal touches along with a lovely welcome pack. Wood burning stove was lovely to sit in front of and relax. Kitchen is well equipped. We loved the garden which attracts lots of birds and even a squirrel. Just a pity that we couldn’t have stayed longer but won’t hesitate to return and highly recommend. Parking spot was brilliant and a very good size.

The cottage really is cosy. We spent two days here in January when the temperature outside was below freezing. We took a wonderful, if cold, walk along Monarch’s Way into Stratford and were so happy to come back to the comfort of the cottage, especially the wood burner. Though we didn’t get to meet Amanda in person, we were grateful for her kindness on booking, allowing us to check in a little early, and her obvious attention to detail inside her beautiful little cottage. Thank you so much Amanda. We will definitely be back.

We stayed overnight fir the Xmas Market.  Beautiful cottage with everything you require. We got a taxi into town £15 which was great as it was £10 to park

Such a beautiful cottage, just oozing with character. It has been so sympathetically updated with original features retained. So many little touches that make it a joy to stay in. We loved the garden and the wildlife we watched. The bed was so comfortable too. Amanda is a great host.

Everything was good. A note of what to put in the relevant bins outside would be useful but that&#39;s a very minor point.

Peace, quiet, wildlife and comfort - what more can I say.

How comfortable it was, how welcoming Amanda is to her cottage, location was good, well stocked wood supply to have a nice wood fire inside, clean, lots of helpful info, nice garden area, good kitchen, warm and cosy. Couldn&#39;t ask anything more from the host and the house, spot on.

Beautiful place to stay

I&#39;ve only lived in the UK for three years, and I swear the Home Office should put a picture of this little cottage on a passport page or tin of chocolates or something, for it was cottages like these that made me fall in love with England all those *years ago. It&#39;s perfect. It&#39;s just the right size, quiet, and cosy. All the little touches add to its authenticity. If you&#39;re looking for quintessential &#39;British&#39; in the heart of Shakespeare Country, then you&#39;ve found it. There&#39;s even bunting and teapots y&#39;all.

Dutch doors open out to a quaint little garden next to a field full of fat little robins who will come and stare at you and wonder what kind of messed up, hairless, featherless animal you are while you enjoy a cuppa or just a quiet sit. At night, the garden is filled with so much magic. I&#39;ve found that with S-u-A in general. I&#39;m not sure if it&#39;s the wonder and expectation of visitors to the area for the past 400 years, but something certainly stirs the air at night. You&#39;ll find yourself lost in the stillness as your eyes gently float from the many twinkling lights as a zephyr caresses your cheek.

But I digress. And the beds were super comfy. I&#39;ve never slept in a place devoid of light, which made for a sound sleep. My husband and I have twins, I&#39;m a postgrad...my nights usually feel like a fever dream of ruminating over research questions to a Cocomellon soundtrack. For that one night, I knew what it felt like to be God&#39;s favourite. 

In short, if you&#39;re looking for a British experience, congratulations, you&#39;ve found it. This lovely, little cottage reminds me that I&#39;m living my dream. And Amanda is a legend! She&#39;s got excellent communication and is kind, generous and funny. If this cottage is available, book it!  

*OK, it was decades ago. It took me two to be precise but I got here anyway :)

Listen, if I could find fault here I could in a bouquet of roses. I loved everything about it.

This little cottage gave us everything we needed for our three day stay and a little bit more! The owner&#39;s communication was excellent right from the moment of booking to upon arrival and leaving. The cottage is super clean and, being the one who ended up on the sofabed, I can say I was pleasantly surprised at how comfy it was - the memory foam topper was a fab touch. The bed was also very comfy, as I lay on it for a few hours to get my daughter to go to sleep! Gorgeous little garden to sit in and lovely views. Great facilities all round - the shower was great and I always expect showers to be naff when booking somewhere! Handy to have an iron etc to press outfits before heading off to a wedding.
A real treat to stay there, everything was great quality and we would love to return one day. Thanks so much! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Lovely, quirky cottage. Could have stayed longer.

Die Ferienwohnung (es handelte sich eher um eine Haushälfte über zwei Ebenen) war liebevoll, altenglisch und dennoch komfortabel ausgestattet. Hinter dem Haus ein ruhiger Garten, der PKW-Stellplatz befand sich ca. 30 Meter entfernt. Die Lage der Wohnung war ruhig, nicht direkt im Zentrum von Stratford gelegen.

Die letzte Nacht war recht laut. Von der Nachbarwohnung Lärmbelästigung. Dort offenbar &quot;Frauenparty&quot; bis spät in die Nacht.

Sehr komfortable, stilvoll eingerichtete Ferienwohnung mit allem Komfort.

Perfect Cottage

Absolutely everything and we had an amazing time. The cottage was stunning and had everything needed. The back garden was absolutely delightful to be in and lovely and quiet with birdlife and all. The place was quiet and super comfortable. Thank you for a great place. Highly recommeded.

Nothing. Parking in the small side alley was also not a problem for us but could be difficult if luggage heavy etc but parking opposite also available to unload.

It was absolutely gorgeous, lots of facilities, pots and pans, cleaning supplies. The garden was beautiful and had a little bench and smoking area for us to use. Was very peaceful and quiet and far away from any busy roads. Absolutely brilliant. Amanda is lovely and extremely helpful, couldn’t do enough for us and messaged me back about any issues ASAP.

This cottage was even better than the photos.  Little gem of a place and loved every minute of our stay, wish we booked for longer tbh.. Everything was immaculate and a very welcoming home from home.  Great comfy sofa, and even comfier bed.  Kitchen had everything you would need.  Shower was great pressure. Enjoyed a nice glass of wine or two in the Garden after a long drive. Lovely little welcome basket too.  Felt like being in the movie ‘the holiday’.  With only a 
5 minute walk to the local pub, which served great food and extremely helpful staff. 
Good communication with the owner.  It’s is definitely a place we will revisit.
