Tranquil wood cabin set in a beautiful orchard

I can thoroughly recommend staying in this wonderful cabin set in the hosts' orchard garden. Not only does it have everything needed for a cosy relaxed stay, Leslie provided fresh eggs from her hens, home-grown tomatoes and grapes... and a wonderful clotted cream tea on arrival! Having the "what three words" location helped hugely to find it! "rope.bloomers.adopting". 

Lovely hosts & homely feel to the property

Too far from any pubs / restaurants on foot plus the narrow roads had no pavements.

Cette location est située dans un jardin magnifique, c'est très calme. On peut observer les oiseaux, les écureuils, les chats. Nous avons très bien accueillis par Lesley et Simon, ils ont eu plein de gentilles attentions pour nous tout en restant très discrets.

Nous avons eu mauvais temps et l'humidité se faisait sentir.

The hosts were amazing, added a few extras to make our stay even more special. The garden is beautiful and bursting with bird life. The location is great for access to all the best places in West of Cornwall. The cabin was very cozy and we loved coming back to it after a busy day. Perfect for anyone looking for peace and quiet at the end of the day!

Hosts were lovely and very hospitable, with great local knowledge. Beautiful, quiet setting. Surrounded by wildlife. Easy to access local pubs and amenities. Will visit again.

The peaceful setting and lovely woodland garden-,the genuine warmth of Lesley and Simon who went the extra mile and gave us eggs from their chickens,-and freshly picked tomatoes as well as a cream tea on arrival .the cabin is very light ,airy and comfortable and is a perfect location for touring the west of the county- —we enjoyed our taste of their ‘Good Life’ very much.

Very peaceful, lovely hosts. Beautiful gardens with a great window to view birds from the cabin. A cream tea was left for my arrival as well as fresh eggs from the friendly chickens.

No fault of the hosts but the postcode took our satnav down a wrong lane. A kind gentleman redirected us when we mentioned our hosts names (stay on the small tarmac road until you get to Dove Cottage)

We loved every second of our stay, amazing hosts who supplied us with fresh tomatoes , eggs, a cream tea and apple cake. Nothing was too much trouble and felt like we were staying with friends. They also set up a bed for daughter. The cottages as described, we loved the garden and peace, yet still being so central to the places we wished to visit. Also only 10 minutes drive to Praa sands beach. We can't wait to.return next year. Thank you.

Very cute cabin surrounded by trees and birds feeding. The hosts were very welcoming. Even homemade scones, cream and jam, and fresh eggs welcomed us. Such a lovely touch. Thank you.

The bedroom is small but it is a cute little cabin so not a problem really.

Quiet and peaceful

We struggled with the size and position of the bed but that was due to my knee injury

We loved the location, very quiet, great for walks. The hosts were so lovely, couldn't do enough to help you. The cabin is lovely and great for a couples getaway.

Peaceful, beautiful, calm, good quality.

Our lovely hosts provided a cream tea gratis, very kind and thoughtful. However, too much clotted cream and jam, had to leave some and I hate waste!

Amazing hosts! Very smooth and easy. We were greeted by the hosts on arrival to which they took us to the cabin and showed us around. We even got scones with clotted cream and jam (it was amazing!). Fresh eggs and cereal etc! The cabin was super peaceful and we very much enjoyed our stay. We would love to come back in the summer!

Excellent hospitality, hosts Lesley and Simon were very welcoming and friendly - couldn't have asked for anything more! Fresh cream tea, home grown tomatoes and free range eggs were delicious and a lovely bonus. Beautiful and peaceful cabin set in a stunning and well maintained garden. Very well equipped accommodation, maintained and decorated beautifully. Excellent base for exploring Cornwall, we hope to visit again some day! Thank you for a lovely and enjoyable break.

Lesley & Simon were attentive hosts. Beside “the staples”, they left fresh eggs from their hens & tomatoes from the green house - nice touches! And treated us to ice-cream!! Their location made a good base to explore West Cornwall.

Very nice location and very nice hosts. We had a lovely stay.

Offered some elements of breakfast which included Gluten free.The chalet was a revelation set in the secret garden. It was wonderful to wander in the morning and so many seating places- unfortunately the wet day of arrival meant we could not avail ourselves. The hosts were outstanding and offered the workshop to store our bikes which was most helpful!

There was nothing negative I can think of only we should have booked longer!

The whole place was absolutely amazing in a fantastic setting with such lovely people

We both liked the fact that the cabin was very clean and comfy. The hosts were super friendly and provided us with eggs, scones, jam and clotted cream. It was a great location, in the country and just 10 mins driving from Penzance and St Michael's Mount.

The only thing was that roads in Cornwall are not that great but this is by no means responsibility of the hosts, rather of the local government.

Lovely host, very helpful & gave us probably the best welcome we've ever had! 😀 It's a nice little place tucked away in a really nice quiet location. Only a short drive to the main attractions too!

Nothing really to dislike, would have preferred a bigger TV, a fridge with a freezer would also be good & maybe something to consider would be a sofa bed in the lounge (or a more comfortable sofa) but these are just our preferences. You would be hard pressed to find faults with this property.

Absolutely tremendous, it was my husband's birthday & Lesley couldn't do anymore for us if we had asked. We we're so relaxed & enjoyed our stay so much, definitely go back.

Divine piece of paradise in a beautiful garden. The peace and tranquility was wonderful. Welcomed with slices of the best cake I have ever had, our hosts were overwhelmingly lovely. It was such a nice place to come ‘home’ to at the end of a busy day sightseeing, perfect location.

Lesley and Simon were the kindest hosts and their eggs and cake are delicious. Would highly recommend for an escape into a beautiful corner of the world that provides much needed natural beauty and respite.

From the moment my partner and I arrived at Lesley and Simon's place, we were completely charmed by their warm and welcoming spirits. They both went above and beyond to make us feel at home, greeting us with beaming smiles and treating us like old friends throughout our stay. By the end of our trip, we felt like we had truly become a part of the family and we're already planning to stay in touch and hopefully host them in our home someday. But the hospitality was just the beginning of the magic at this lovely holiday home. Lesley and Simon's garden was truly a work of art and love, bursting with vibrant flowers, fruit trees, and happy little birds flitting about. We spent hours lounging in the garden, reading books, and simply soaking up the peaceful, serene atmosphere. And we even got to hang out with their adorable chickens, who were a constant source of entertainment and joy. As for the cabin itself, it was nothing short of cosy and charming. Lesley's attention to detail and thoughtful touches made us feel at home. I cannot imagine a luxurious five-star hotel doing any better. The bed was comfortable, the decor with fresh oranges and bluebells was lovely, and we had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. All in all, we couldn't have asked for a more perfect holiday experience. Lesley and Simon are truly exceptional hosts, and their home is a little slice of paradise. We feel so lucky to have had the chance to stay here and can't wait to come back again soon.

Nice hosts, pleasant and peaceful location.

I like to cook, there was no oven or hob. A toaster and microwave and kettle are the only appliances. A fridge is there but no freezer compartment. The accommodation is very bijou, ok for a one night stopover.

Beautiful setting, so peaceful tucked away yet only short drive to local sightseeing spots. Hosts were fantastic, very welcoming and friendly. Added bonus of affectionate cats to fuss. Look forward to returning one day

it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay the cleanliness was second to none the setting was beautiful in the trees. Lesley and Simon were the perfect hosts. Lesley had supplied us with free range eggs from there own chicken’s. they also provide milk breakfast cereals

A lovely stay in this charming property, excellent location for getting around, local eateries all excellent, the hosts Lesley and Simon are very hosptiable and provided extra little treats cereals, eggs, tomatoes, apples and grapes. We very much enjoyed our stay thank you.

The setting

There was no cooker! Only a microwave (a most unhealthy way to cook using radiation), and a miniscule hot plate. I brought food to cook, but was unable to do so properly. It is meant to be self-catering yet the facilities were sadly lacking.There was no information/instructions about the use of gadgets (ie hotplate - I couldn't figure out what it was) or WiFi or heating. There were no leaflets or brochures for places of interest to visit. For the price charged I would have expected full kitchen equipment to include an oven.

beautiful place, surrounded by nature. could sit and watch all the birds out the window. wonderful owners who were very friendly and even gave us wine for our wedding anniversary. couldn’t have found a nicer place.

Great place in rural area, heart of Cornwall very close to Marazion and Penzance. Free parking space, a big, beautiful garden. I recommend for everyone that would like escape from city and likes countryside. Great and very helpfully owner. I am intended to visit again.
