Lovely cosy house.

Comfort, style of property, furnishings, warmth, facilities.

Design of kitchen! Kettle not near the sink. Fridge too far from the rest of the kitchen. No instructions for microwave? No handrail on internal stairs coming up from front door (I mentioned that the last time we stayed).

We loved our stay in Lower Largo. Despite all of the positive reviews, it was still above our expectations. There were so many extra little touches that made the place feel like home - everything we could want or need. It was peaceful. We enjoyed the nearby inn and restaurant. It was a since easy drive to St Andrew’s. We also enjoyed some walks along the coast.

The best Airbnb we have stayed in. An absolutely fantastic property in a wonderful beachfront location which was spotlessly clean on our arrival. It is equipped with everything you could possibly need to ensure a trouble free stay including mega-fast wifi which is useable throughout the property right down to the foot of the garden. The area is extremely quiet at night and we slept with the windows cracked open so the sound of the sea wafted in through the night. Bliss. Only thing that could improve on near perfection would be to sacrifice a small amount of space in one of the huge upstairs bedrooms to fit an upstairs shower to the existing toilet. If the property was filled to capacity - one shower could take a while for all to get ready to go out. We have booked again for April 2025 - truly cannot wait.

We absolutely loved staying at Beachhaven. The house is spacious and also warm, comfortable and well equipped. The view from all the front windows is gorgeous. The garden is perfect for a beach holiday-it’s private, sheltered and there are lots of places to sit and watch the sea, or sit and read in the cosy summer house. Largo has remained pretty much the same since I lived there in the 60’s and I love returning. It is always friendly, peaceful and incredibly relaxing. We also enjoyed a meal at the refurbished Crusoe Hotel. Great food and a warm welcome. There’s lots to do in Fife, although these days we just want to walk the coastal paths. A walk to Elie and the bus back is a favourite. I will be recommending Beachhaven to friends and family.

We had a fantastic time at Beachhaven. We are a family of 4 including a 3 year old and an 9 month old. The property was very well suited for us with large rooms and amenities. The views out of all beach facing windows are beautiful, and the hosts kindly leave a pair of binoculars for bird/boat spotting. The private garden space is lovely with several seating options depending what time of day you go and where the sun is. Don't be surprised, you have to walk through a tiny bit of the downstairs property's garden to access the private garden space. The lady downstairs was so pleasant and even shared a little bit of the history of the building. Local restaurants and activities were plentiful, from the bars/restaurants on the pier a few minutes walk away to the more touristy locations further round the east neuk and in St Andrews.

We had a great stay - very clean, comfortable, spacious and well equipped - the online photos don't do it justice! Beautiful views from the property and the beachside garden was lovely - perfect for family fun on and off the beach with our grandson and dog. Very friendly, welcoming and helpful host. Would highly recommend and we may well be back!

Lovely house with beautiful gardens. Host was very welcoming.

Location is excellent. Garden backs onto the beach the sea views from the house are stunning.there is parking in front of property which is a real bonus as Main Street is very busy with parked cars.

I can’t really say there was anything not to like.

We had a lovely stay. House is beautiful and had everything we needed. We booked for 3 nights but wished we had booked more. We had our golden retriever with us and he had the best holiday. Weather was grey but dry which was good as we stayed here in March but would love to go in summer next time as we can only imagine how beautiful it would be when it was sunny and bright. Lots of lovely little places to visit for the day and St Andrews really just on the doorstep. The little cafe and the Crusoe hotel were good places to visit for food and are both within walking distance so we could relax , take the dog with us and thoroughly enjoy the time together. Would highly recommend Beachhaven. Lovely memories for us ❤️

Beach haven exceeded our expectations. The photographs really don’t do justice to how amazing this home is. The house has two social spaces which was great for travelling with our young adult sons. The location is absolutely fantastic, our dog loved the early morning and late evening walks on the beach (and the longer ones during the day). The views from the sitting room and two of the large bedrooms are amazing and the view of the sea and beach changed depending on weather and tide conditions. The beds were comfortable and the house was supplied with whatever we could think of, like it is someone’s home rather than an Airbnb. The kitchen also was well supplied with equipment. We hope to return and can recommend Beachhaven to all.

The space, the facilities, the garden and access to the beach! BLISS!!

We were unlucky with the extreme wind at night time and the windows were a bit rattly but nothing you wouldn't expect with that kind of weather.

Excellent

Beautifully appointed beachside house in favourite seaside Fife village. Very helpful owner who responded rapidly when asked for advice or help.

Only problem was ventilation in downstairs bedroom, with both windows painted shut (by contrast with fully functioning windows in upstairs bedrooms). At least one window should be fixed or replaced.

This house was just the perfect cosy place for our little trip!! Instructions were all straightforward and any issues we did have were resolved quickly and easily. Robert was extremely helpful and responsive! The house was a thousand times nicer and larger than the pictures show. Stunning views onto the sea, lovely for watching sunsets and rises. It felt luxurious to say the least. We all loved it so much and are so glad we found this place!!

We (family of 4) had a great time at Beachhaven. Fantastic location overlooking Largo Bay, with direct access to the beach. The house is tastefully furnished and equipped to a high standard. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our Christmas dinner, and Robert, the owner had even put up Christmas decorations. We will be back! Matt & family

Mixed experience in the bleak midwinter.

Beautifully decorated and appointed, very spacious apartment on two floors. Even lovely Xmas decorations which were much appreciated. Incredible beachside and sea views. Off road parking space which is at a premium in the area.

Handrail needed for stairs from inside the front door up to the hallway, for people with limited mobility. Heating was set to 57 degrees Fahrenheit. It was very cold.We had to figure out how to adjust the boiler and thermostat. There was no manual that we could find, for this or any appliances. The radiators are too small to heat such a large space in midwinter, especially as only some of the windows are double glazed.

We had a fantastic family get together for three nights in this lovely apartment and would definitely book it again. (Six adults and a one year old). The photos do not do it justice. The views are amazing and the facilities are second to none. This is a beautiful stretch of coast and we enjoyed fine weather throughout our stay. Obviously not guaranteed! There are plenty of things to do and see in the area. We walked to Elie along the coastal path and then got the bus back. Ideal for mini-break or longer stay.

We loved staying at number 116! If anything, the home was even more beautiful than the pictures and description portrayed. Having the sea right at our back doorstep was marvellous and being able to walk home along the beach with our wee messages from the corner shop was a delight. Our host, Robert, was extremely helpful, generous, and kind. Would be extremely happy to stay here again and hope that we do!

Just had four great nights at Beachhaven - brilliant location with fantastic views. It was wonderful to take the dog out straight into the beach every morning and then spend a bit of time in the garden and summerhouse. The property met all our needs from sleeping to eating to relaxing to making use of the smart TV! Lower Largo is a lovely village itself but a great base for exploring more of the Fife coast. Would really recommend Beachhaven and will definitely be returning in the future.

Would certainly go back again.

Excellent facilities set on a beautiful beachside location. Spacious house and the village of Lower Largo had a decent pub, hotel and local shop and Upper Largo was only a 15 minute walk away.

Really lovely house, better than the photos. Spotless, well equipped kitchen. Bedrooms were spacious with comfortable beds. Although I find stairs challenging, the access stairs were shallow and easy to climb, once inside the house was beautifully laid out. Our 3 year old grandson was very excited about the little gate to the seaside. Sleeping to the sound of the waves was very relaxing.

Wonderful waterfront property

The property is great. A two storey upper flat with a fabulous sea view. The enclosed garden is a delight with access direct to the beach. We hardly watched TV, the views took care of that. And the dog loved it too!

Nothing. We'll be back.

Fabulous stay at Beach Haven. House was beautiful, photos don’t do it justice. It’s large, spacious, clean, warm and welcoming. Everything has been thought of. It is decorated beautifully and we loved the shower, Sky tv, the large fridge freezer, gorgeous kitchen, cosy throws, comfy double bed. Off street raking outside the front door. Our dog loved the east access to the beach. Can’t wait to return!!
