lovely, comfortable cottage and enough space for 4 adults and 2 dogs! location is great for getting to nearby beaches, villages etc - though there's isn't loads in walking distance of the cottage itself. the views were excellent and it was very peaceful! the garden did not have private access from the property, and we didn't realise - it was okay for the dogs, but we had to take them round and make sure we blocked off the steps to the road. it wasnt a problem, but worth noting as there isn't a space to let the dogs roam freely. well equipped kitchen and living room, we didn't have any logs left but the owners were really quick to respond and sort this out for us. they were also really accommodating in allowing us an earlier check in and later check out. we would definitely return!

Very nice cottage in a quiet location. Ideal for watching the trains rumble by on the Ffestiniog Railway. Very comfortable and lovely garden and only a minute walk to the station. Lovely rustic cottage with comfy seating in the lounge.

We loved the cottage, we felt immediately at home, it was so cosy. Really well equipped kitchen and very generous welcome pack. Ros is an excellent host & incredibly responsive. We slept very well, really comfy beds & bedding. The cottage is in an excellent location for visiting the coast or places of interest. It was superb having the steam train go past the beautiful garden. The village is only a short walk to pubs, takeaways & shops. We will definitely return & recommend the cottage to our friends and family.

Had a lovely stay at the cottage. Was very cosy and quiet. The log starter pack was missing but Ros was round within the hour to drop some off. The only issue with check in (and completely not Ros’s fault, was an Airbnb issue which I reported to them) was the the Airbnb App ‘message host’ function contacted a Travelnest host i’d stay with somewhere else. Not great but luckily Ros had emailed me a phone number so that solved the issue.

We only stayed a few days and wished we could have stayed longer. The cottage has all you need and plenty to read and watch. Lovely surroundings with a garden to watch the trains go right past the house. The beds are very comfy and the kitchen is fully equipped. The host has supplied instructions for everything in the cottage and places to visit. We really enjoyed the log burner as the evenings grew cooler and appreciated the Welsh cakes left by the host. Lovely stay.

Warm and comfortable and good access to Snowdonia.

I got to the cottage ans the keys were ready to collect from a key safe. the cottage was clean and had everything I needed. it was warm upon entry too. A nice touch was the Welsh cakes and Barra Breath left on the kitchen top. Aswell as central heating there is a wood burner and some wood supplied. Nice cottage, would stay again.

I didn't want to leave!
