Captivating & Cosy 4-Bedroom House in Magherafelt

The freedom for the kids and the house was very clean and the owners couldn’t do enough to help us in anyway fantastic place and I know me and my family will be back

This is a really nice secluded location but not too hard to find, easy distance from excellent friendly restaurants and liturally everything you need. The hosts are welcoming and can't do enough to help. be sure to visit!

This was our favourite place of all the places we visited in Ireland. The hosts were incredible and the house was amazing. We would definitely stay here the next visit!!!!

The house and area are beautiful, especially the views of the surrounding mountains. John and Siobhan were great hosts. We were travelling for a family funeral and they couldn't have been more helpful or accommodating, offering an early check in and out and allowing us to extend our stay if required. I would highly recommend this wonderful house and excellent hosts.

Wow! A lovely property equipped with everything you could wish for and more! The hosts were very welcoming and provided so many extras….tea, coffee, milk, buns, crisps, toiletries…..The views from the property were amazing and the house was so comfortable. Self catering was not an issue as all the cookware provided made it so easy. As a party of 4 adults and a young baby, we all agreed staying here really made our holiday! Many thanks to Siobhan and John….this property is highly recommended!

We had the most lovely stay at Sperrinview House. The house was very spacious and every room was well-appointed and squeaky clean. Siobhan and John were perfect hosts—checking in periodically and offering suggestions. The location of Sperrinview House is the perfect home base for all things Northern Ireland. It has the convenience of grocery stores and the setting of small Irish village. We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a spacious house in a lovely little town.

The property was clean and had everything we needed and more. We had 8 people stay in the property comfortably. The hosts were easy to contact if needed and were happy to help at anytime.

Location was fine. Bathrooms and bedding were clean.

Host had full control of heating and hot water - so we were told to text to get hot water or heating. Hot water was tied to heating - so the property is unhygienic without hot water always being available for washing dishes, hand washing etc. Kitchen utensils and dishes were dirty - likely because they were washed in cold water by previous guests. Assumed we had booked the whole Property, but host tried to keep one bedroom locked and inaccessible - but they did unlock and makeup room on request.

John & Siobhan were the perfect hosts , they were there when you needed them but let you get on with your holiday without interruption. The house is beautiful and up to date with all modern amenities, the outside of the house is fantastic with stunning views & breathtaking sunsets . Situated 10 minutes walk from magherfelt town it was ideal for a wander around and also has a few nice pubs and restaurants. They also supply a cool box and assortment of picnic items for a day out if required. We went for are mums 80th birthday and just wanted to be together as a family and make some memories and we did with abundance. The house was perfect for us and we came away feeling like we would definitely be back so thank you to John & siobhan ..

My 6 friends and I had an amazing stay at this fantastic house. The hosts were so friendly, with great hospitality, greeting us on arrival, offering advice for exploring Belfast city centre and were nearby if we needed anything. We encountered no problems on our stay, and were very impressed by the up-keep of the house. We would definitely recommend this stay.

Great place for a quiet break or as a base to travel great hosts

The view from the terrace was amazing! Plenty of wood for the open fire. Kitchen was full kitted for or requirements and the hosts could not be any more friendly and helpful.

Could not fault the home at all. Perfect for 6 adults and a 3 year old. Highly recommend for trips to Derry. Looking forward to staying again in the future.

Stayed here for my Mum's 90th birthday. John and Siobhan met me on arrival, very friendly and helpful. The house is large and extremely comfortable, the views are beautiful. There were 7 of us plus 8 month old twins,we were provided with a highchair and an extremely useful playpen. We had such a lovely stay,John was at the end of the phone when I needed anything. I would HIGHLY recommend this property, we all had such a lovely time, it was sad to leave. Thank you John and Siobhan!!!!

A perfect stay in an exceptional house, made even better by the outstanding hospitality shown by John and Siobhan! They went above and beyond to make our family stay as cosy and welcoming as possible, and nothing was too much effort for them. I highly recommend this accommodation, the house is brilliant and the hosts are superb, thank you!

Sperrinview is a great house with a superb view. We received a very warm welcome on arrival from Siobhan and John, and a very generous welcome pack. They were on hand throughout our visit and nothing was too much trouble. The house was spotless and very well equipped. The beds were super comfy. Would definitely recommend a stay.

We loved staying in Sperrinview House. It was well located for our trip and the views across to the Sperrin Mountains was outstanding. We had a very warm welcome from the owners on arrival and they were always on hand if we needed help. On our return from a days trip out it was lovely to come back to a cosy welcoming house. We would highly recommend a stay here.

Hi, we stayed in this house last weekend. We funding this place very comfortable and cosy. Will be happy to stay there again.

The location is ideal due to being in the centre of Northern Ireland, which meant that day trips were no more than 30-40 mile trip at the most. The owners were extremely helpful and kind and made us feel very welcome upon arrival. It was also a very peaceful location despite being fairly close to the town centre. The local supermarket is less than a mile away.

If you are 6ft plus, you might struggle to get comfortable in the beds. I'm 6ft3 and my feet were over the end of the wooden frame of the bed which was a bit uncomfortable. It's not a deal breaker though! The light fitting in the downstairs toilet could also present an issue for taller people. I came into contact with it frequently as it's over the sink and difficult to avoid. It would be a simple fix for the owners though, again, a very minor point which doesn't detract from the experience. Lastly, I felt that some of the pots and pans were well past it, especially the small frying pan. Again, a minor point.

The property is very spacious and comfortable. It is tastefully decorated throughout and has everything you would need for your stay. The views are stunning!

Friendly and accomodating host. Lovely house, homely, tidy, clean. Complete with towel and tissues. The view is superb. Near town, shop and groceries. Highly recommended.

What an amazing place , owned by the loveliest people in the most beautiful surroundings!!! The hosts were super helpful, and always nearby if you needed anything (not that we did .) The views were breathtaking , and had some lovely evenings sat outside with the BBQ taking it all in. The house itself is outstanding and everyone got the best nights sleep. Couldn’t ask for anymore in regards to amenities , including ice buckets, picnic baskets , bbq , toastie maker and lots more! Would recommend this place to everybody , if you are considering staying here, don’t think twice and book right away! Thank you so much for everything , will definitely be returning 😊

Siobhan was a superb host who gave us the warmest of welcomes when we arrived.. She had left us a lovely welcome pack which was a lovely thought which was much appreciated after our long drive. The accommodation was to a high standard with loads of personal thought by siobhan throughout the house like home from home everything you need. Great location to use as a base for visiting tourist attraction and great accommodation for families. I would highly recommend as a place to stay and hopefully will get to do a return visit. Our stay here was without a doubt one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve ever had. The home is clean, spacious, and with a phenomenal sunset view. John and Siobanh were extremely welcoming, responsive and accommodating. We highly recommend this listing and would stay here again no questions asked!

Fantastic communication right from the off when I made my booking. The host was absolutely lovely and met us on arrival at the house, showed us all around and I was very pleased with my booking. Also a great touch a basket with essentials tea,coffee, milk, biscuits, milk which was a great help Location was perfectly placed for getting to Magherafelt only 5 minutes away, peaceful and beautiful view of the town, countryside and mountain.

Absolutely stunning views, 5 star facilities in and around the house. The owners were so warm and friendly it made us feel like we had a second home.
