Lovely 2 Bed House Apartment in Boston TownCentre

Lovely stay, very clean and tidy. Location is less than 5 minutes walk to the town centre and the cathedral. Would definitely use again if we were in the area again!

Easy walk from town centre and music venue we were attending.

One broken light switch but not a problem. Wasn’t, entirely sure how to get hot water. TV did not have terrestrial channels but managed to get BBC through Iplayer.

Not a lot to be honest the property is not sufficiently provided for the maintenance is basic

The property was advertised as having a bath. We could not run a bath. It was hooked up to a shower as the photos show which was the most disappointing aspect although the overall cleanliness was basic the inside of the cooker door was disgusting with age old previous uses obviously not very good the garden was over grown the curtains did not contain very the window in the living room …. Simply put it was not worth the money

Cheap but needs a makeover, shower was mouldy and at the bottom of the bath panel was a rusty screw sticking out. Toilet seat needs replacing has some horrible stains on it.

It was warm

Bathroom is tired and there was no plug for the kitchen sink so a bowl would of been good for washing dishes. The cutlery was shoved in a old jar not a cutlery tray. No tea towel was provided we were not told the bathroom was downstairs with a very creeky staircase .

On arrival it was difficult to find parking close to the house. The heating had not been turned on before our arrival and the house was absolutely freezing and didn’t warm up until the next morning. We sat with our coats on all evening. The house was very dirty and I have photographs of this, I wrote my name in the thick greasy dirt on the tv box. When I opened the oven the smell was pretty bad due to the black burnt on grease you get if the oven hasn’t been cleaned for a long time. The taps, sink plug holes and toilet were also really quite dirty. The lounge has a glass door next to a window which directly opens onto the street but only has a single curtain, we had to move the curtain pole from the window to the door to stop us being seen. The window has a blind. The bathroom is downstairs at the back of the extension, the bedroom is upstairs at the front of the house. The bedroom door hinge is broken. I do not recommend this house or host as we were accused of the damage to door!

I booked this property for the location being close to where I needed to be, but it was far from a convenient experience. the heating didn't come on my first night there, it was -3 overnight and the place was freezing! had a very unpleasant night there. The host tried to help remotely but the house didn't warm up and had hot water till the next day in the late afternoon. there was no convection heater as a back up. the place didn't feel safe, straight on the sidewalk, no external light, someone maybe mistakenly tried to open the front door at night which was quite frightening. the place is in dire need of an update, it's been described as two bathrooms but had only one which was at the far end of the ground floor and the bedroom is at the other far end of the house on the second floor so you end up walking through the kitchen and living area in between.

10 minute walk to town. Very convenient and easy to find.

Parking not as advertised as on site but parking available on road 100m away. Could have provided basic coffee and tea, and UHT cartons for morning cuppa.
