Luxury Glamping Dome with views of the Burren

The dome has a nice view of the burren and was warm and comfortable. Good glamping experience with good kitchen and bathroom. Very nice that pets are allowed. Dome also had a space heater which was very nice and electric blankets which really helped as it's winter.

Bathroom and kitchen are a bit far away if you're caught in bad weather.

Hosts were lovely and welcoming. Location close to Burren national park was excellent. Beautiful dark skies at night. Great experience

It was fantastic to sleep being able to see the stars. There’s a little heaten so we were cozy and warm. We bring our kitten with us because the Dome is pet friendly! You have your own complete kitchen and bathroom next to it so is very comfortable. Alexander gave us some wood and we did a fire camping night next to it.

We loved this stay and experience! A must stay if your in the area. Host was great with things to do in the area! Best mattress we had entire stay in Ireland. My wife that is always cold was toasty under the nice comforter and with little heater! Great place!

Location was fantastic & quiet/just what we needed away from the norm of lifestyle & would DEFFINATELY book again in the future Our host Alex was VERY WELCOMING & the facilities where GREAT

The only downside of our stay was that the small fire burner wasn't on during the evening/night,which would've made it alot nicer to stay outside longer

The property was fantastic and private! Only a short spin to Kinvara and other areas. The view was perfect too.

The location, the view of the Burren and the glass dome are great, the bed is extremely cosy and comfortable and it's very quiet and peaceful. Sleeping in the dome was a brilliant experience!

We booked way in advance for two adults and a thirteen-year old, but when we arrived everything was prepared for two people only. Setting up the third bed was not a lot of effort, but we were disappointed that it was not done properly in advance. We also never got the third chair as promised by the host twice. We were not aware of the fact that there would be another glamping facility on the same site only about 20 to 25 metres away. I could not find any information about this in the description. So it was not as private as we expected, because the people in the tiny house were facing the see-through entrance of our glass dome. Previous guests had already complained about this so the host provided us with an improvised curtain to block the sight, which however fell off after a short time. He said at the very beginning of our stay that he would get a proper curtain done the next day, but did not. The kitchen is ok to prepare breakfast, but unsuitable for proper cooking because the portable electric stove is not strong enough to heat up the pan properly. The host was friendly and had a lot of ideas for future improvements, like an umbrella to get to the kitchen/ bathroom in case of rain. There were a few (missing) details which did not make this a completely pleasant stay for us.

Ich bin mit meinen beiden Kindern (9 und 12) gereist. Die Unterkunft hat eine gute Lage, um mit dem Auto die vielen Ausflugsziele zu erreichen (Cliffs of Moher und andere). Die Übernachtung im Dome war sehr schön und eine tolle Erfahrung. Eine Nacht haben wir zudem in der Shepherd's Hut verbracht, wobei es sich im Prinzip um ein Tiny House handelt. Auch diese Unterkunft ist sehr schön und optimal ausgestattet. Der Eigentümer der Anlage ist überaus hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Die Unterkünfte sind meiner Meinung nach optimal für Paare geeignet, aber auch als Erwachsener mit zwei Kindern kann man dort ein paar Tage sehr gut verweilen.

The toilet, shower room & kitchen facilities were quite a distance from the dome. I would have preferred a closer option, there was room on the grass area for maybe a small shepherds hut.

The location was fab. Our host was extremely helpful and friendly. Towns are nearby for restaurants but we stayed at the premises and enjoyed every minute.

Everything was perfect me and my girlfriend was planning to try this experience a while ago. Alex and his wife provided everything that we need and also the thing I requested to him to have an incredible weekend. He also gave a few pieces of advice for us to enjoy around. We went to do a hiking in Eagles Rock and also had a lunch in place called Gallery his suggestion as well. If you look for a weekend of piece and be connected with nature don’t miss it out.

To be honest don’t have anything I didn’t like; bring some snack or easy food to prepare in case you don’t want to go out in the night.

La struttura è immersa nel verde con vista sul parco nazionale. Tutto pulito e come da descrizione. Alex fantastico!

La struttura, che si trova nel giardino del proprietario, risulta piuttosto isolata e la notte, tra buio e silenzio fa un po’ impressione :) Ma è anche il suo bello.

Make sure you use the Eircode provided by the host to locate the property - otherwise you might struggle to find it!

Het uitzicht vanuit het bed over de Burren is prachtig. De extra keuken en privebadkamer op ongeveer 20 meter maken het extra luxe. De tips van de gastheer ware goed en fijn

The views were lovely from the dome. It was so nice to be away from the hustle and bustle of the city and towns. Alex was a fantastic host making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed to make our stay a relaxed and chilled out one. We were provided with lovely fresh bread, eggs and milk, for our breakfast, the dome and annex were spotlessly clean. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and for making breakfast etc. I would highly recommend it for a stay and break away from the norm.

Awesome spot in the Burren area. The pod is wonderful, slept amazingly every night. Has its own private deck area, and attached kitchen and bathroom, everything you need to be self catering and contained. Really nice and helpful hosts who are very knowledgeable of the area. Will definitely be my first choice when revisiting the Burren.

A beautiful location with amazing views. The hosts were so helpful, providing ideas for trips to enjoy, areas to explore, and restaurants to eat out. The dome itself is fantastic. It provides a panoramic view of the forest and night sky while being generous in size. The kitchen facilities and private bathroom were an added bonus. We spent 3 nights, however, would have gladly stayed longer as there was so much more to explore in the area. If you enjoy walking/ hiking and the general outdoors, this is a fantastic spot.
