Stunning Compact Apartment Just Outside Looe

We had a lovely few days in Downderry.

It was a really lovely apartment with plenty of space for us even though it was compact. Comfortable, attractive and clean. There was also some welcoming goodies awaiting us on our arrival. Highly recommended!

Beautiful apartment but unfortunately in the evenings when it got a bit cooler no way of operating the heating.

Had everything we needed for our stay, well located for the local beaches and within walking distance of a couple of places to eat/drink.

Second bedroom is very small with the double bed in, it would probably be better with a single, or bunk beds.

Close to beach,beds super comfy.John the neighbour was pleasant 😊The owner super friendly & very prompt in replying.

Picture advertised is not representative of how it looks now(misleading)The area was rather run down & not maintained to a high standard,felt that the apartment was over priced for what it was.

Great communication from the owner before our stay so that we knew what to do. The place was spotless and it had everything we needed. Our neighbours were really welcoming and helpful. A wonderful little apartment to stay in.

This really is a little gem of a place. Beautifully presented, with lots of lovely little touches (including an Easter egg and chocs for Easter weekend) and fantastic views. Downderry itself is stunning, with great amenities including a cafe and couple of pubs. The apartment is a short walk to the beach with lots of rock pools and another short walk to Seaton with more pubs/cafes and a play park. The delights of the South Cornish coast are easy to get to by car including Looe and Polperro. Whilst it’s booked through Travel nest, Carla the owner takes over once the booking goes through and she’s a very responsive and helpful host. Please do heed the details in the listing - it is a ‘compact’ apartment with a second small bedroom but it was perfect for our little family and is definitely somewhere we’d stay again.
