The Milking Shed at Pencraig

Beautiful place, came here with my partner for a weekend getaway and it was a stunning place, kitchens perfect, living room and bedroom perfect too. The house was super cozy and well heated. Loved it here would definitely come back!

Very cosy, love the fire

Cosy setting with a lovely log fire. All essentials were there for cooking.

The only issue we felt was the bed, as Im 6ft 3 it could have done with being more sturdy and larger! but thats a common issue for me, its not a complaint but just something to be aware of.

This is a gem of a find. The property is well designed, in keeping with the origins of its use; a milking shed. It has been lovingly restored, keeping many of its original features. It is cosy, clean and has many thought out amenities for guest use. Alice (the owner) was very responsive to any questions and more than happy to help. The log fire is gorgeous and adds a further cosy atmosphere to a property already draped in comfort and beauty. This provides more than enough heat to the property. The kitchen has everything that is needed and is easily accessible. The bedroom area is cosy and the bed extremely comfy. A perfect little hideaway to shut yourself away from the world for a few days.

Quaint, rustic and well finished. The log burner is easy to use and there was plenty of wood. Kept it cozy and warm.Owners on hand when needed. Kitchen well equipped..need a bigger frying pan though 😆 Beautifull little property.

A light in the drive or outside area. Bigger frying pan. Some sort of shelving in the bathroom for wash equipment. Bathroom was cold 😔

The place was great. The hosts were very helpful and quick to respond to requests for more logs for the burner etc. Highly recommended!

Great stay at the Milking Shed, exactly as seen in pictures and was lovely and cosy with the log burner. An excellent location for exploring Anglesey, will most certainly be back in the future!

We decided we wanted a long weekend away, somewhere peaceful and relaxing. Somewhere we could snuggle up and chill in comfortable surroundings and this absolutely hit the spot for us. The decor was rustic but romantic and gave a lovely cosy feel. We went during a ‘storm’ and couldn’t have felt warmer and more comfortable while the wind howled outside. 5 stars for everything. It really was perfect

House was lovely, good driving distance to restaurants ect. Only downsides are there is a little light that stays on at end of bed that’s quite bright and the bed was very uncomfortable and loud… apart from that we were very happy!

A lovely Airbnb. Very clean and welcoming feel. Parking right outside. Great base for exploring Anglesey. Small enclosed gravel area great for our dog. Very cosy log fire. Would recommend.

We loved our stay here. What a gem of an Airbnb! Highly recommended for a peaceful few days in Anglesey. Our wee pup loved it too and was gutted to be leaving!

Great place to stay, had everything you need, spotlessly clean.

The cottage was clean and had everything that we needed. The kitchen has all of the cooking essential and appliances. There is also an iron and hairdryer. The log burner is great for keeping warm and cosy. We loved it at the milking shed 🐮🥰

The bed is quite small and could do with some new bedding.

This is a nice place to stay, the inside has been done really nice.

wirklich super sauber und sehr schön eingerichtet. cool dass es noch ein Bild in der Unterkunft gab wie der Kuhstall früher ausgesehen hat. Wenn ich wirklich was suchen müsste was optimiert werden könnte, dann könnte man im Bad ein kleines Schränkchen oder ähnliches aufstellen, damit man seine Badsachen verstauen kann. Aber sonst alles tip top, vielen Dank für den schönen Aufenthalt. Tolle Unterkunft;)

The Milking Shed was a perfect place to base ourselves for our stay in Anglesey. The renovated barn is beautiful, well thought out and pays tribute to the original features. Very easy to check in etc, would highly recommend and go back ourselves in future. Thank you!

Absolutely fantastic stay at The Milking Shed. Such a gorgeous little cottage, which had everything we needed for a two night stay. The location was great with many lovely beaches a short drive away. Would certainly recommend and will definitely be back.

Lovely place in a lovely area!!

The Milking Shed is even more beautiful in person than it already looks in the picture! Me & my partner were looking for a little getaway to escape our busy lives and this location was perfect! The building is located in a peaceful area, easy to find and easy access to amenities within driving distance. Plenty of local beaches and lovely restaurants nearby, the host provided numerous recommendations in a small handbook also. Unique, cosy & comfy - thank you for making our first introduction into North Wales a lovely one! Remember to bring towels!

This adorable little cottage is every bit as lovely as the photos and more! It really was a dream. My only criticism is that air bnb says “host will provide check in info” and nothing was ever received. It actually wasn’t a problem at all as the key was in the door, but I was a bit worried we would have difficulty when we were much later arriving than planned due to horrible traffic. Beautiful place though and wish we could have stayed longer!

Honestly, couldn't fault the place at all. It was beautifully decorated and styled, super clean, comfy. It was fantastic.

Clean quirky accommodation. Well equipped Bed as previously mentioned by guests, unfortunately we did not find very comfortable and noisy with slightest movement disturbing partner

Location was brilliant for attractions, lovely local pubs and chip shop. Hosts were informative prior to trip and very polite. Felt right at home during our 2 night stay.

A smart TV would be the only small improvement so you could connect to Netflix for a night time movie

Wow… Amazing! We came for my partners birthday and to visit the Harbour Front Bistro but this property by far made the trip It was everything we could’ve asked for and more. The property is beautiful and clean, the pictures certainly don’t do it justice. There were also several items there which aren’t listed such as hair dryer and iron. The host had left tea/coffee ect and cleaning essentials. A booklet was provided of things to do, places to eat and must see locations. WiFi password is written in kitchen. The only improvement we would suggest is being a little clearer on check in information. You don’t have to check in/out with anybody and the key is simply left in the front door ready for when you arrive. When you leave, you just leave the key in the door. There is a reception and mini farm shop next to the property with a mobile number you can call if necessary. The owners and their family are about during the day. Everything is a short drive away and easy to access.

Gorgeous little air b&b, easy private parking and cute garden area - wood stocked up well for in / outdoor log burners, long walks locally - perfect for walking dogs!

This place is just like the photos with everything as listed. It is out the way from local pubs but that wasn’t what we were there for. The only thing I’d change would be the mattress (we didn’t have the best sleep). The hosts were on standby if we ever needed anything and in general the place was lovely.

My wife & I found the accommodation was perfect. Well presented, rustic and just what we wanted. Quiet, local to various beaches and restaurants exactly what we wanted.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in The Milking Shed, which was a great spot (driving distance/easy access to sights, the coast, etc.) and cosy. It had everything we needed. We also noticed that the hosts have already responded to previous comments about the privacy/seating area in the front -- which they've now built a fence around -- and firewood -- of which we had more than enough for three nights. Everything was clean and comfortable, and the hosts were readily available for anything we needed to ask. Lovely spot and highly recommend it!

It’s a barn so sort of expect it but it was pretty cold we even with the little log fire on whenever we were in plenty of wood was made available though. First time we have ever had to take our own towels somewhere. No brush, I always like to sweep up before we leave.

Absolutely beautiful accommodation, like no other !! After sharing it on my social media after our stay i was asked many times for the link from people i know very interested in staying there ! Hope they got more bookings off the back of our stay.. great hosts all the stars 🌟

Absolutely stunning place to stay, everything is done to the highest standards. Everyone we came in contact with were very friendly and welcoming. Our dog was also allowed which was great. Its a little out of the way, so you would need to I drive of you want to explore. It's a very high class place, just missing the fluffy towels, maybe a bigger tv for a cozy night in by the log burner. The bed is very comfortable, however it squeaks of you even move slightly. These details wouldn't put me off booking again we were visiting the area.

The Milking Shed, so much to stay about the place! To begin with the location and surroundings are beautiful and very peaceful. The site was easy to access and clean inside. The bathroom is stunning, and shower and height is great. I'm 6'2 and often have problems with showers but this was very comfortable. The open plan and fire place gives a very relaxed and rustic atmosphere. I booked this for my girlfriends birthday and she cried when she finally got to see it. ( of happiness ofc! ) We did not want to leave after such a lovely stay, and she even said about buying the property! The logs, kindling and matches were appreciated when we got there and soon used them for a cosy night in. Thank you for hosting, and helping make a memorable birthday for my partner.

Lovely place to stay I would highly recommend it!

Stunning accommodation with everything you could need. We loved the Milking Shed which is ideally situated for local amenities with the A55 just 5 minutes away and Holy Island just 6 minutes away. We had no issues at all but needed to ask host a couple of questions which were answered immediately.

The only thing that would Completely out that place head and shoulders above any competition would be to potentially garden off or seclude the front and add a hot tub and then the already exceptional venue would be out of this world. Really can’t thank Alice enough she was great, even went out of her way to setup birthday surprise trimmings for my partner before our arrival she was incredible.

Great place Nice being around nature. from a milking shed to accommodation, alls simple there nice down stairs and balcony bedroom above. very clean and contained. I usually try places and try other places but I'd go again..

We had an amazing two night stay! A cosy place to stay, tucked away. The bathroom was clean and pristine, don’t forget to bring towels and shower gel ect. The kitchen had everything we needed, microwave, toaster and tea/coffee bits were included. The living room was homely, comfy sofa and tv. The bedroom provided us with a great sleep! We were ten minute drive from a retail park with lots of supermarkets and shops, five minute drive from the beach and chippys.

Suggestion to provide towels or tell people they are not available beforehand. Only matches and larger logs available to put in log burner; no kindling or firelighters.

We’ve just come back from a long weekend at The Milking Shed. What an absolute GEM. Super cosy and absolutely spotless, it has a very cute, rustic feel. The host was easily contactable and responded straight away with any questions we had. All local attractions are 15 minutes or less away - so very close and we covered so much ground. It’s our first time in Wales and we can’t wait to come back!

What a beautiful little place in perfect setting..so quiet and has everything you need..it truly has been decorated to a very high standard❤..the cute log burner and logs ready to go..the gorgeous bathroom..well equipt kitchen and the quaint gallery bedroom..outside the front door is a small bistro set to sit and enjoy the beautiful pots full of pretty flowers...there wasnt anything i didnt like about this place... it most deff deserves 10/10..the host was fabulous arrived as we got there ...no messing about told us all we needed to know and dissapeared just as quickly..Thank You very much for a perfect few days away The Milking Shed made it even more special

the property was finished well, lovely interior.

There were no personal touches, no towels, or shower gel no welcome pack, the property doesn’t over look a view as it says it does, it’s very dark and doesn’t have a private garden. The staff member was incredibly rude, and said because we borrowed a towel that they apparently had to throw away because it had dog hair on it 🤣 that we should leave a review. not sure this is the one they wanted! there was also some dog hair in the plug hole that was taken a huge offence too and also blamed us for a dog poo out side which wasn’t us. it was laughable really, because they promote being dog friendly but is far from the case. we cleaned the house but missed some dog hairs in the plug hole and dried our dog with a towel after he had a wash. But they are not considering that part of what you pay is cleaning and if it’s DOG friendly then that cleaning has to consider that.
