The location was amazing, just a minute walk from the center and we were pleasantly surprised by how much nicer it looks on the outlook compared to Google street view. The bathroom was good, bed was comfy, good storage space, and a big fridge. We didn't expect a hob but there is an induction hob big enough for two pans, and some tea bags were also provided with a complimentary bottle of white wine. The shutters allowed fresh air to enter the room without the light, or shutters open and windows closed made the studio very well lit and pleasant. The shower was good, perhaps a little smaller than shown in the photos, but shampoo and shower gel were provided. There was a hairdryer, and an extension plug for the sockets. We were also messaged through booking.com for a few events that were happening during our stay which was really good.
The 'air conditioning' in the listing is actually a floor fan. While this did help in the 34° heat, it did not provide the same cooling as proper air conditioning. Under the bed was not clean, there were many dust balls and hairs under it which was not pleasant to find. There is no freezer, which was a shame as we wanted to freeze things due to the high temperatures, and there is also no oven (there is a good microwave to replace this feature). We did not know where to put our bins, as they filled up within the week that we stayed and wanted it out of our studio, so we noticed other bins and recycling downstairs on the ground floor so we put it with that however the next day we were left a note saying "do not leave bins in here!!" which is understandable yet provided no alternative for the bins. The washing machine and dryer were good however the dryer took a lot longer than it tells you on the setting and didn't fully dry our clothes. We were only provided with a few washing tablets which ran out inevitably as we needed to wash towels from the beach, the singular cloth for cleaning out the studio, and sweaty clothes. We are also warned to prop something against the washing machine as it leaks (?). We were also a bit confused to find no hand soap in the studio, either in the bathroom or the kitchen. When we wanted to relax we switched the TV on and sat on the bed to watch it (you can't sit on the table and chairs as you cannot see the TV from this angle) however we found there were limited channels such as Africa, CNN, and many many 18+ channels which was a little shocking. Apps such as Netflix, Disney+, Spotify were all installed but could not watch anything on them without using our own password and username which we refrain from doing on holiday, especially as it was all installed on the Google TV which is logged into the owners account.
