Beautiful location everything you need.

Cozy with amazing views. Friendly hosts but gave us privacy. Spotlessly clean.

No where to hang up wet coats, but the hut is very small and there isn't much space to fit hooks etc

lovely place, only stayed one night, would happily spend a few days there. lots of animals around the place. not far off the main road but lovely and tranquil. shower was very good considering, it's a Sheppard's hut.

could do with better signage to find it

Die Lage ist auf einem geraden stückchen Erde an einem Berghang. So ist die Aussicht grandios! Nebenan gab es Pfauen und Alpakas, die ständig in der Nähe sind. Es ist erstaunlich, wiviel Komfort man in so einem kleinen Häuschen unterbringen kann.

Die Matratze war direkt auf Brettern aufgelegt, so war es nicht sehr bequem. Ein Lattenrost drunter würde sicher gut helfen. Es ist halt etwas den Berg hinauf, zu Fuß heisst das: Die Waden sind kräftig zu nutzen.

A beautiful, peaceful location for a very well presented and comfortable Shepard's hut. The owners were very friendly and helpful too.

Amazing peaceful property with fantastic views the hosts couldn’t have helped out more even gave good recommendations on local attractions

The only down side was the lack of internet but if you are going for a quaint peaceful relaxing get away this is definitely for you also is in a great location with lots of landmarks nearby

Nice and remote gave me the break away from everything I wanted, as well as the llamas to chat to when you’re bored

The property was very pretty, clean and had all that was needed for a lovely stay. It’s even more spacious than what you think. The outside sitting area is lovely, views are amazing especially with the animals. We are regular visitors to the hosts rental cottage which is just as amazing, Carol and Don are so friendly too.

Very pleasant, clean and I would highly recommend The Peacock Shepherds Hut as a place to stay. A lot of attention to detail has been paid to the style of the cabin, it is situated in the middle of nowhere, an ideal place to get away from the hustle and bustle of normal life.

Lovely little place in the middle of nowhere. Nice views, wildlife and the hut itself was lovely and clean. Had everything you would need and it's actually bigger inside than it looks on the pictures. Hosts were helpful

There was nothing I didn't like it was perfect. My only issue was my sat nav took me the wrong way, so I was driving around a bit before I managed to find it as its quite concealed

Loved the location, loved how coordinated it was inside. The comfort and thoughtfulness of the owner

The hosts were absolutely amazing, available over email before our stay and over the WhatsApp when we got a bit lost on our arrival. We loved their unobtrusive care when they asked if we had enough wood for our evening bonfires and blankets (it was autumnal stay in November, so their offers were much appreciated, thank you).

There's nothing not to like, don't expect a hotel, but for what it is I can't imagine how you could do better. Sat nav directions to the property aren't great but a quick call quickly got us there. Tip when you get to the garage on the main road turn up the hill it's the first lane on the right with bunting flags on the gate

Stayed here last night. Perfect if you're looking for somewhere quiet to stay. Really nice and clean inside and out. Had everything you could need. I would recommend this place and would book again.
