Kudhva is a 43 acre off-grid accommodation experience which boasts 180 degree views of the North Cornish coastline. A rugged slate track (please take it slow) leads you to our car park, from here you walk up the track into a willow grove and our reception building, where you will be warmly welcomed by our front of house.
Kudhva is an abandoned slate quarry, turned sustainable holiday destination, but it's wild and rough terrain remain - we welcome adventurous travellers and curious hardy folk to join its splendour. Pack to suit; waterproofs, head torches, sturdy footwear and backpacks are all recommended.
That's not to say we don't throw in a touch of luxe. Come and stay in our architectural hideouts which have been designed to give you an elevated experience, immersed in nature.
The architectural cabin sleeps two in a mezzanine bed, with a seating area below, facing the floor to ceiling window which frames your view out into the wilderness and up to the stars.
Each Kudhva comes with bed linen, towels and candle for evening lighting. You will also have your own private fire pit and outdoor seating area.
Our shared kitchen, showers and loos are just a few minutes away in our reception building, with large communal fire pits and dining spaces set amongst the willow grove for you to use.
A woodfired hot tub with ocean views, delicious breakfast baskets and bags of local, sustainable firewood are all available to book upon arrival for an extra fee. Please contact us to find out more.
