Beautiful place with a stove for those chilly evenings. Tasteful decor, immaculate, clean lovely smelling bedding as well as immensely comfy beds. Kitchen well equipped and the welcoming hamper was a very nice touch.
We had a lovely stay at Coach House. The apartment is stunning and full of character, spotlessly clean and very cosy. The beds are very comfortable and we felt right at home. I have already recommended to a number of family & friends and we will return in the future.
Spaciousness, cleanliness, central heating (it was freezing cold outside). Very stylish and tasteful interior design. The nearby abbey grounds make the place even more special.
We had such a wonderful stay. The coach house is beautiful and unique, with exquisite interior. You can tell thought has got into every last detail and the welcome hamper was such a lovely touch. Kitchen is well equipped and all furnishings are off the highest quality. Log burner really does keep the place toasty warm! Place was immaculately clean too. Couldn't recommend enough!!
We absolutely loved our stay at the Coach House, such a beautiful place to stay. We couldn’t fault anything and found it ideal for our 2 dogs who loved sleeping in front of the log fire. The addition of some welcome gifts including homemade flapjacks were a lovely treat when we arrived. We booked very last minute and will definitely return. It is ideally located to explore so many places in North Yorkshire.

This is a great location, with nice places to visit not far away. The accommodation is excellent. We enjoyed the open plan, the nice views and the quiet. The beds were very comfortable. The decor was lovely. The instructions were clear and comprehensive. Highly recommended.
Beautiful home surrounded by peaceful countryside and the ruins of an abbey , perfect place for walking the dog . The home was beautifully decorated , well stocked with all the things you need for your stay , very home from home . Fiona and Peter were excellent hosts , lovely touch was the welcoming wine and munch flap jacks . We will definitely be staying here again Thank you both
Everything. Fabulous. Very spacious. It was the best cottage I ever stayed at. Pure luxury. Fully renovated facilities. Top high quality standard. Super well equipped. It had everything (to the tiniest detail) you could possibly wish for. Home away from home. Top quality furnishings with elegant taste in all rooms. Bathroom top: Bath, shower, hot water, soft towels. Kitchen new and fully equipped with gadgets . Great WiFi. Wood oven provides a cosy atmosphere in lounge. Owners very friendly and available in case you need anything. A welcoming basket with wine and biscuits greets you as you open the door. Perfect both for romantic getaways or a one child family or 2 couples. Plenty of outdoor activities within reach. Very good value for money.
Not for non drivers. A car is essential. Far from any shop or pub or restaurant (but this is quite normal in Yorkshire) Not for disabled person with walking difficulty or difficulty climbing stairs. There is a narrow and steep stone staircase to access cottage (it’s on first floor)

Fantastic place to stay, we really enjoyed our time here in the Yorkshire dales. The coach house is the perfect location for spending time walking and exploring all the Dales have to offer. Fiona was very helpful in finding stables so my two daughters could go trekking. The Rocky road and welcome hamper was a beautiful touch, and very delicious. Fiona was very helpful and reactive when needed. Lovely clean accommodation. Would definitely recommend and return again. Thank you.

Beautiful place, the first time to this area in Yorkshire, but I've been staying in Yorkshire for 30 yrs. This is one of the best places I've stayed in that I would most definitely recommend. But please read the description as there are stone steps to the first floor and a sunken bath, not for the less able body!.. Owners are lovely and the dogs! Enjoy.
Nothing I didn't like other than as mentioned be aware of the steps and sunken bath. The shower is over the bath. Would benefit from a bath matt, to be honest.
Beautiful location
What a fantastic idyllic location by the ruins of Jervaulx Abbey. The apartment is beautifully furnished and has everything for a lovely stay. The hosts are very responsive and made us feel welcome with a basket of treats. We have already started looking for dates when we can return this year. The Coach House appartment is accessed via an ancient external stone staircase. The interior is equally full of character with exposed beams and wonderful ironwork - a mix of traditional Yorkshire and comfortable contemporary. Spacious but cosy for 4 adults in two bedrooms. Well worth it. Philip
Perfect peaceful location
We had a wonderful weekend staying here whilst attending a wedding at Jervaulx Abbey which was a short walk away. The apartment was spacious and clean and had everything we needed. A welcome basket with some delicious homemade flapjacks was a lovely touch. Thank you Fiona!
Beautiful accommodation with lovely owners who couldn’t be more helpful
The best way to describe this place is a Beautiful place hosted by Beautiful people. You can see the attention for detail from the moment you step into the coach house. Facilities were incredible, definitely a wow when you enter. bottle of presence and home made flapjacks were a nice touch. The beds are the comfiest you may ever sleep in, and the bathroom is amazing, (I won't describe it so not to spoil your entrance). Fiona and Peter are always on hand to help, and are friendly and passionate about ensuring guests have a great stay. we will be back.
Beautiful location, very peaceful and quiet. Very pretty. The accommodation was clean and had everything you would need. It smelled lovely inside and had really lovely views from the windows. The hosts were both extremely helpful and friendly and we will definitely be returning. This is a little gem.

Cold on arrival
The coach house at Jervaulx is set in a beautiful location. Everything is within easy reach and yet it’s a very peaceful spot. The house itself is stunning, well equipped , clean and comfortable. There’s also a beautiful , peaceful garden for outdoor dining . The hosts are lovely. We were greeted with an amazing welcome basket,which was very much appreciated.
