Eco Accommodation Cornflower Holiday

3 guests · 1 bedroom · 2 beds · 1 bathroom

The beautiful hut on an organic farm in the Clun Valley, where wildlife circulates freely. It can accommodate two adults and a child up to 10 years old. Explore the stunning landscape of Shropshire. Our luxurious hut allows you to stay in the heart of nature and feel safe and relaxed. The romantic hut with fireplace, and fully furnished, outdoor area with barbecue and fire pit is a perfect place for you to enjoy the magnificent view of the valley with a glass of wine. You will have your private toilet in the hut. A fully equipped kitchen is next to the hut also to your own with a fridge with an icebox, a hob, an oven/grill, a toaster, a kettle, pans, cutleries, etc. You will share just the shower with another guest, but it will be cleaned and sterilized daily when both Huts are in use. You don't need to have contact with other guests if you don't want to. Everyone has their own private space. Linen and towels are all included. Firewood is provided for your log burner and campfire. Sure, the birds will be a witness and sing for you and the ducks in the pond are an additional gift and then you will feel refreshed. There is plenty to catch your eye and make you relax. You can walk and sit down around the pond, and look at the animals, in addition, to taking the magnificent views down the Valley. You will enjoy the peace and will need a good book and a glass of wine to unwind. In addition to that, if you wish, you can be supplied with organic meat, vegetables, and fresh chicken eggs from the farm! You also can buy an organic cooked breakfast. Perfect for those who are looking for walking or cycling opportunities with its unspoiled landscape scattered with wildlife and hills. As well as the magnificent views down the valley, you'll have a chance to wander around the pond and look at the farm's animals. Maybe you or your child would like to milk a lovely milking cow called Holly. Also, we offer the opportunity to feed the animals in the morning( with additional little fee). Just 15 minutes away is the historic town of Clun, which has been inhabited since the Neolithic period, about 5000 years ago. You can delve into its history with a look at Clun Castle and a small museum to wander. There are walking routes all around - the most famous of which is the Offa's Dyke Path. If you love to roam in the fresh air and green spaces, we are only a 15 minutes walk to Rhosfiddle Nature Reserve, which is an area of 75 hectares. The town of Craven Arms is 30 minutes away. Don't miss the Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre, Stokesay Castle, and the Land Of Lost Content Museum. From Craven Arms, you can pop on a train to see Shrewsbury, Ludlow, Wales, and Manchester. From Craven Arms, it is 10 miles to Ludlow, known for its gourmet food options and pretty streets. The huts are on the farmland about 100 meters from the farmhouse. Free wifi internet will be available. Leave the stress behind you and enjoy your life! The coziest place we’ve ever stayed

Super cozy hut, fully equipped. Loved the extra details, such as setting the fire, on site honesty farm shop, free logs and kindling, even your own personal dressing gowns. The hosts went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable.

My stay was a peaceful retreat, where work felt like a holiday.

The view was enchanting, with animals wandering freely. The soft murmur of water in the drainage canals was hypnotic, like nature’s gentle song. The wooden stove, a rustic charm, glowed warmly, perfect for a barbecue under the open sky. Though I came for work, it felt like a peaceful retreat, as if I were on holiday. The young kids would love to be here, surrounded by such beauty and serenity.

I honestly loved everything about this place. Trevor was an exceptional host, going above and beyond to make my stay perfect. His warm hospitality made me feel at home, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Tranquility back to nature, great for the soul.

The style and the location of the property are exceptional. Owner were friendly and couldn’t do enough for us.

A strong smell from where previous people had stayed and been smoking in the hut.

was a really lovely experience, would like to come back

very tucked out of the way, so peaceful, loved the scenery, so so pretty! it was so lovely

the only bad thing was the bed, lot of springs, found it quite uncomfortable to sleep, but that didn’t change how much we enjoyed our stay

Relaxing weekend walking break

We loved everything about the beautiful shepherd's hut which is located in such a wonderful & delightfull setting. It felt so relaxing, cabin is extremely cosy with its log burner. Can't wait for another trip, however, all booked up for the dates we require...says it all really. Very popular & inexpensive compared to other similar accommodation.

Would have liked a mattress topper ànd a couple of big cushions to sit up in bed, but that's my preference...certainly not a criticism.

The perfect hideaway

Completely remote farm. Peaceful with lovely views. Ideal for the perfect "away from it all" break. Trevor and Gleice are lovely people and always eager to make your stay the best. They have a variety of accommodation on the farm to suit different tastes and Trevor is always happy to talk if you want to. Try the farm's own meat. It's so tender and full of flavour.

Lovely farm stay in the shropshire hills

Great stay at a farm with detached kitchen and showers. View on the fields around and a small pond with birds in front. little woodburner in the cabin, which we needed one of the days.

Shower need some extra space to put your things , you need to undress there, beds could do with an extra topper matrass.

Good fun and comfort in a very beautiful, unspoilt area.

Beautiful unspoilt Shropshire Hills. Lovely, interesting owners. Hut was very warm, cosy and very clean. Organic beef was delicious.

Nothing really, given the set-up.

Relaxing countryside stay

We loved the quiet location and beautiful views over the countryside. Trevor is a really lovely man. We will definitely be returning. You have your own accommodation and parking outside.

You have to share the shower facility with next door accommodation people. The roads leading up to the accommodation has loads of potholes. Would recommend using the road B4368.

Welcomed by Trevor and Gleice.. Hut was lovely and warm on arrival, clean and cute, kitchen and shower located over the stream which was also exceptionally clean. Got to hold new born lamb, saw piglets and chickens. Brought some organic meat so looking forward to trying that. Will definitely return in warmer weather

This is a great little property. It has an amazing view of the valley (Clun valley?). The hut is lovely with a cosy, little fire and indoor toilet. Trevor was very welcoming and a delight to talk with. The cooked breakfast in the morning was delicious with all organic ingredients. If you want a little break from the city life and just chill with nature then this is the place for you. The view of the night sky is totally amazing. So many stars!

Trevor & Gleice have a lovely place here, if you need a relaxing break amongst beautiful scenery, you won’t be disappointed! The facilities are well planned, comfortable, and in good condition. The cabin has a brook nearby that gives you an immediate feeling of tranquility. We really enjoyed the hearty breakfasts, which you can either have as a pack of ingredients, or cooked for you - the quality of the ingredients was superb. Trevor and Gleice were very obliging and friendly hosts, who clearly take a lot of pride in what they do.

We had a lovely stay here! Gleice and Trevor were so friendly and accommodating. The welcome package of two veg and one meat from the farm was a wonderful surprise- and we made them into a lovely dinner one evening. They lent us a map and pointed out some of the nearby walking routes- we really enjoyed the one we did. As for the accommodation itself- it was advertised as glamping but this felt much nicer than glamping! The bed was comfy, the log burner gave it a lovely cosy vibe in the colder evening, the kitchen was well stocked with utensils and pots and pans and the shower nice and hot. Looking out onto the pond and watching the ducks, and watching the cows and sheep in the field was such a nice way to start and end the day. We look forward to coming back again one day and have recommended to friends looking for a relaxing break closer with nature.

Cleice And Trevor were amazing hosts, immediately making us feel very welcomed. They offered us a choice of fresh produce from their farm and Cleice even left some freshly baked cakes. Such a lovely touch. The place seems brand new. Sparkling clean. The hut itself was charming and cozy, just like in the photos, with an en-suite toilet. The well equipped kitchen was separate, in the hut next door. So was the shower. We had a wonderful weekend. Thanks you very much! Looking forward to come back one day.

My son thoroughly enjoyed being on a working farm and that the hosts let him get involved and showed him the animal! The views from the hut were beautiful and it was so peaceful, a lovely little escape from normality. Thank you for having us! Will definitely return.
