Pottsville Cabin - short walk to Praa Sands Beach

We have just returned from a weekend stay in Praa Sands at Pottsville Cabin. First off, the communication in the lead up to check in was excellent, clear, and helpful. We did have a little trouble locating the correct cabin however I have no doubt this was down to tiredness after a rubbish journey! Once located, there was a clear parking bay right next to the cabin. Key safe entry, for which we had been sent the code in good time, as well as other necessities such as WiFi code etc. The lights were on and it was lovely and toasty upon our arrival. The cabin itself is absolutely beautiful, well kept, in pristine condition/cleanliness and well equipped. V comfy beds too which can be hit and miss in these statics. The park was also very nice; well landscaped, quiet and in walking distance to the superb Praa Sands beach. Park facilities also open which I was surprised about given low season. Hosts themselves were wonderful and v clear a lot of effort goes into ensuring a 5☆ stay for guests.

Joules was really amazing and responsible, the stay was lovely and would highly recommend to visit this place!! Absolutely beautiful and serene ❤️❤️ Will definitely visit next time 😍😍

The chalet was absolutely wonderful. It was warm & comfortable. It had everything you could possibly need and more! Thoughtful touches like dog bowls and towel. Comfortable beds and great shower. Would love to return!

Lovely Caravan, really cosy and welcoming. We only stayed 2 nights due to my husband working nearby. Wish we had booked another night. Would definitely return.

We (three adults & a pooch) had a wonderful two night stay in Jules & Damyon’s relaxing cabin - We slept so well! Along with the wonderful location of the cabin, it was a great base for exploring the local area. The cabin was so lovely, very clean, with lots of little extras. We felt right at home. Communication was superb & hosts were so friendly. Would totally recommend & we will definitely stay again. Thank you so much Jules & Damyon 🙏

Just stayed for two nights whilst visiting family in area, very happy with the accommodation, extremely clean and very comfortable, host was very helpful with arrival instructions, left lots of tea,coffee etc for arrival. Very peaceful location on beautiful lodge park, close to beach, would definitely recommend

we really enjoyed the stay in the cabin. the sea is close and the area is very quiet. the only thing we did not like was the smell in the cabin as it seems like normally also dogs can stay there. but it was clean and cosy

The location was excellent, 5 minutes walk away from the lovely beach. Caravan itself was clean and modern. Great facilities.

Nothing! Would have been fantastic if the washing machine did work, but not a huge deal.

Everything was to our satisfaction it was a great place to stay.

There was nothing we didn't like, the only thing that was a bit disappointing was that the washing machine was out of use and we had to use the one on site, which charges a fortune to wash and dry clothes

Everything was beautiful and felt very homely lots of little extras like a dog bowl and towel for those with furry friends there were sachets of tea, coffee and milk and washing up equipment everything you needed A very informative welcome pack I have bad mobility issues and struggled with the hills so we had to use the car everywhere but that was just me A lovely break away and Daymeon and Jules were excellent hosts thank you for everything

Die Lage der Ferienwohnung ist spitze - ruhig in der Natur und nur 8 Minuten zu Fuß zum Strand. Viele schöne Orte sind mit dem Auto erreichbar. Die Wohnung an sich ist sehr privat, schön, klein, sauber und hat alles was man braucht. Fabelhaft. Wir haben uns von Anfang an wie zu Hause gefühlt.

Tiny beds in 2nd bedroom as adult had to sleep in it.

Everything we wanted and more! Absolutely wonderful accommodation and fantastic hosts. There is nothing I can fault about our stay. The location is great, with just a short walk to the local beach, a 30 minute drive to Sennen Cove to watch the sunsets and the cabin was absolutely spotless with all amenities we needed… and a perfect spot for us and our 2 dogs. The icing on the cake was the hosts, they left dog towels and bowls and a booklet with good recommendations for restaurants etc. On the day of arrival we were running late and the hosts went out of their way to meet the delivery driver at the cabin and unpacked all of our food shop. The only fault is having to come home 😢 Would highly recommend and will definitely be back next year! Thank you Damyon and Jules.

Nothing about pottsville, the beach is beautiful but such a shame that local shop had closed and most things are driving distance.

Lovely place to stay, clean, well equipped, comfy, close enough to the beach to walk to. Would highly recommend staying here.

An amazing place to stay as a family or couple especially if you have a dog. Spotlessly clean and everything provided that you would need. Short walk to beach but if you have any mobility issues it is a one minute drive down with plenty of parking. Would definitely recommend and stay here again

Great location. Centrsl to all to see in Cornwall. Well appointed and cosy for 4 adults.

The only fault was washing machine was out of order.

It was very clean, tidy & modern. The heating was very efficient & facilities were great. It was very well positioned for the beach & good location to visit other Cornish landmarks. The site was very well maintained & extremely dog friendly. The owners were very helpful.

I will 100% be coming back to stay it's the most amazing and most beautiful place I have seen so clean and comfortable had everything we needed and would like to know your availability for this lodge again from 7th off June to 11th

Nothing everything was perfect

The cabin itself is spacious and clean. It came with a lot of added details that were a suprise, the complementary dog towel and blankets for the dogs to be on the sofas. There was a whole booklet of recommended places to walk, eat and visit which was great to dig into when we got there.

No shops in walking distance

Everything and more had been provided that was needed, making it a lovely welcome, even down to the dog bowl and towel. It was immaculately clean and fresh and very comfortable. I'm sure if they could have sorted the weather, they would have done. Thank you hosts.

This stay is absolutely amazing! I can’t honestly recommend it enough and the hosts are wonderful. The area is just beautiful and it’s a real hidden gem. We stayed here for my birthday and it was the relaxing weekend we needed. Everything is on hand and the hosts recommendations are fab. We had pizza at The Welloe recommended to us by Jules and it did not disappoint! Lovely food and lovely views. We look forward to rebooking another stay here in the near future. Lovely accommodation thank you. We were very happy with our stay and felt that our host, not only thought of the finer details to provide a home from home for us, but also for our dog. Beautiful location, caravan was spacious, warm & cosy. Loved the nice touch with the dog bowls, ball & towel. Wouldn't hesitate going back. Only downside that's not down to the owner was lack of exit signs out of the park.

where do I start. I had carbon monoxide alarms going off all night which is very concerning.. I had to remove batteries. There was pubic hairs and other hairs in the bedding and sofa was extremely dirty and stained with mould in the corners. The fire did not work in the lounge and the washing machine was out of order, Loads of cobwebs throughout the caravan more like Halloween set. Lighting out side did not work causing my friend to slip on the decking. Vents dirty full of grease and black fluff never been cleaned. Broken window catch on back window, and blinds needed replacing in shower . The front room light was filthy and contained a mixture of odd bulbs. All fitting was full of sticky dusty dirt even over the cooker. Spinders and dead flies in corners and earwigs. I was supposed to stay for a 4 night stay.. I left at 7 am in the morning couldn't stay any longer was feeling very tired due to no sleep worrying about the Carbon monoxide alerts. I kept itching all night .

The perfect weekend away. Everything was so wonderful, I've booked to come back next year.

peaceful and quiet location, beautiful nature. Just a short drive from Penzance. The cabin has all the necessary conveniences and kitchenware. Dogs friendly hosts - we were provided dog bowls and covers for the sofa.

would be good to have some basic soap in the bathroom. We did not know it was missing and it was too late when we arrived to go to buy it in a shop. Some of equipment needs repairing: the washing machine and the seat in the toilet.

Our stay was very enjoyable great place to stay for the beach and walks with the family and dog would stay again if alls good thank you
