Excellent location, in a beautiful and peaceful spot. Ideal for hill walkers. At this time of year it is, however, very cold at night, so visitors need to be prepared.
A microwave would be useful in addition to the mini oven.
One of my most enjoyable stays. Trevor and Gleice were amazing hosts. (Left my towel outside to dry when we went out , Found it hung up inside when we got back) (Left extra firefighters out as we were in need of more) These are just 2 things over the weekend that Trevor and Gleice did amazingly! Have already recommended to all our friends before we even left. And hopefully we will be coming back very very soon. Thanks again Trevor and Gleice!!
Everything. The scenery was amazing. Everyone was very friendly.
The steps into the cabin were incredibly slippy. Could do with some grips on all of the steps.
it was the perfect location to stay in and a surprise birthday weekend for my boyfriend . it was quiet and the owner was great .

Amazing location, friendly and very helpful owner. As a solo traveller it was the perfect place to escape.
Beautiful location, spotlessly clean, you have your own toilet and kitchen, shared shower with one other cabin. BBQ & log burner. Everything you could possibly need. Host Trevor was welcoming and helpful. Planning on going back there.
Couldnt fault anything really.
Breakfast good, location tranquil and scenic.
You need to be used to the single track roads locally.
The shepherds huts were fully equipped with everything you needed for your stay , Trevor & gleacie also offered a cooked breakfast if you requested one and with it been an organic working farm they also offered eggs, lamb, beef & pork to take home , all I all a lovely eco friendly stay
The location is very quiet. The accommodation has almost everything that you may need for a quick holiday. Trevor and Gleice are both very kind and friendly. He gave me the tour of the farm and we had lots of conversation about farming, about life and just everything in general! They made breakfast which was amazing with home-made bread, farm eggs etc. The kitchen had supplies for tea/coffee and you can buy fresh milk from them. Though it's on a working farm but still very quiet!
It's probably my fault that I probably didn't check it, but the shower is common for two cottages (not that it mattered much to us). The kitchen is outside the accommodation. It's a proper rural location (which is what we wanted) with no restaurants nearby so you need to plan accordingly. It wasn't an issue for us as we dont mind driving! I guess they can add a few basic things like salt, pepper, oil etc
Such a beautiful location. Very friendly hosts who were happy to sort requests and queries.
It is a small cabin, as expected, being very tall the beds were a bit short. Not a complaint in any way. It’s a little cabin so it’s a small bed. Wonderful beautiful place to stay. Hosts were lovely. What a fantastic place to stay! Hopefully we will be back in the not too distant future.

Delicious breakfast and nicely delivered
I love the environment, the host and his wife were exceptional human beings. I love the room, the kitchen, the toilet is clean and the idea of village life was amazing 👏 🙌 👌 😍 ❤️ 😀.
I would suggest the bathroom 🚻 should be, every client has access to his bathroom and the toilet should be changed to a normal toilet, where water could be used to flush after every usage.
Remoteness with stunning view. Peaceful setting in a hidden part of England
Superb location a short drive from many places of interest. Nice little get away from it all break..hosts very welcoming and helpful...
Leaving to come home 😁
The location was stunning and the property was too.
Nothing at all.
There are a lot of shepherds huts around, but Foxglove is an example of one done really well! Everything worked as it should, and it was a pleasure to stay in. It was beautiful inside and the set up was excellent, small enough to be cosy but spacious enough to not be cramped. And the bedding was so soft! It was good having the kitchen separate, which was just a few metres away, and well kitted out which allowed me to cook and I liked eating my breakfast in there overlooking the duckpond and hills. The shower was also in the same block, although I shared the shower with the other hut I never had to wait. The toilet is a 'separat' style compost one, which worked very well. The wood burning stove warmed the hut up fast, and the fire had been made before I arrived so I only had to light it! Gleice and Trevor were very friendly, and Trevor gave me a good tip for a cycle ride on the Kerry Ridge nearby which I really enjoyed. Gleice showed me the adorable lambs and kittens in the barn! The Clun Valley is a gorgeous area of rolling hills and, at this time of year, frolicking lambs. Thanks so much!

Trevor and Gleice are fantastic host , really kind and helpful. We stayed in this cottage for 4 nights and it was perfect.Lovely cosy little cottage.Had everything we needed there. The location was unique and extremely pristine. Excellent area for walk and Enjoy nature and relax.Newborn lambs had enhanced its beauty🤩Every morning we were surprised to see ducks in front of the cottage. We enjoyed seeing the woods in the fireplace at night was truly incredible. The bed is super comfy. Storage under the bed is super handy. We experienced the best days in this cozy, beautiful and clean cottage. Would highly recommend this place to stay 👌.We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for everything, kind couple.
Lovely location and the hut was just right in comfort and simplicity. Everything needed and no extras so it felt uncluttered and easy to be there. A lot of attention to detail and kind hosts.
An earnestly awe inspiring landscape, a comfortably warm and cosy little hut and a wonderful host. The accommodation was warm and inviting, with a double bed large enough for me to hog the bed and my boyfriend to still get a good night's sleep! The log burner kept us very warm despite shivering temperatures outside and the wood provided was ample for the two days and nights we were there. There was plenty of space and I felt perfectly happy to spend the evening lounging around the hut chatting. The organic breakfast from the farm was a savoury delight that satiated the palette and the soul, comprising of a couple of hearty sausages, an orange yoked egg still warm from the chicken, and two rashes of the freshest bacon I've ever tasted, with some of Gleice's, extraordinary, bread (I am genuinely salivating thinking about it). Trevor was a lovely and gracious host who brought us our breakfast each morning with a chuckle and a smile. He was happy to talk about the farm and even sorted us out with some mince from his cows, which made a lovely bolognese that evening! As for the scenery...Steep rounds of hills that frame a horizon painted in 1000 shades of green across every vantage. As your eyes adjust to the pure rural glory, and past the tears of joy, you will see pines, oaks, birches, beeches, heather, ferns and gorse poking out of the hills in their various colours and sizes. Hedgerows border the fields with socks of moss carrying nests for sparrows, wrens, robins and tits of all varieties (soon to include myself, I'm sure) that spend each day competing their song with the calls of the crows and magpies. We saw more than a few birds of prey hardly struggle for dinner in the local area; a red kite, a buzzard and a kestrel were some I could identify. The walking opportunities in the area are hardy for a man from the flats of Lincolnshire like myself, but the panorama ridge of each hill is definitely worth the sweat. I spent most of my time staring at the landscape in various places up to an hour away from the farm, in the pouring rain and blasting wind, and I honestly would have spent the rest of the month doing the same if I could. I would and will recommend this place to anyone and everyone looking for true British countryside.
Everything !
Beautiful views of the hills and stars! Would recommend staying at this quaint shepherds hut for an escape, with fantastic hospitality from the hosts.
