Lovely 2-Bed Apartment in Blackpool secret house

Upon arrival, we were asked to call 10 minutes before so that the host could meet us, I did call, and the host said to get the keys off the guys from the downstairs apartment. The apartment was spacious, but as described on booking.com, there were 2x double bedrooms and a sofa bed to which there was not. There were 1x double bedroom and bunk beds in the second bedroom and a sofa bed! It was not as described, and I was annoyed that we had been misled. My partner and I travelled with his mother, aunt, and young daughter aged 2. The sofa bed was not comfortable at all, there was no way I could expect our elderly mother and aunt sleep on there nor the bunk beds, I was told that the host would call me back first thing in the morning as when we finally reached the apartment after we had been on the road for hours due to a terrible crash on the m6, the host lied! The host never called back,nor did they try to make our stay any better for the weekend whilst we were there. The host said to me on the phone that he would arrange a refund but never answered the phone again, nor did he ring back. In the kitchen, there were hardly any cook ware or cups, for a family of 5 staying for the weekend it was not equipped nowhere near enough. There was a terrible smell in the apartment as I think they were smoking in the apartment downstairs. It was horrible. There was rubbish all strude up at the back of the apartment, which was a lovely view from one of the bedrooms!! The smell from outside was horrendous when we tried to ventilate the kitchen by opening a window. There was a leak coming from the boiler, the thermostats did not work for the heating. There was crusty food that had been left on the side table in the living room. Overall disappointed and will never stay there again.

It was a death trap for toddles too many stairs none gates the windows are all easy too open there was no pots too cook with for the money wee paid for the week it’s no worth it house is stunning tho

Not to far from north pier. Tram stop just at bottom of road. Nice big bathroom with decent shower. Master bed comfortable.

Would have been helpful to have instructions regarding WiFi and working heating controls as had to contact host regarding this. However, they did respond very quickly which was appreciated. It would have been useful to have some more equipment in the kitchen to use when preparing food e.g grater, more pans. Astro turf outside could have been tidier. Would have been useful to have option to hire highchair and stair gate as we stayed there with young children.

Good spaces for the number of guests.

No toilet roll, some items left in the fridge/freezer and the bathroom from a previous stay.

Lovely and clean. Modern Put my mind at ease due to first night away with a baby

You can get a parking space as long as you are lucky.. it’s roadside parking. However the whole road is full of parking both sides so wasn’t an issue.

Let me share my experience with you guys I stayed at secret house Lytham road it was amazing place it is same as in pictures we had good time everything is nice and clean everything is perfect like you are at your home, I recommend this place for everyone to visit and you will have good time with your family and friends best place to book and spend your weekend,

Just got back from this lovely apartment in Blackpool & already booking it again for January, it ticks even box especially if there are a few of you, good location, nice & clean and the owner of the property couldn't have been any more helpful, 5 star and already looking forward to our next stay here.
