We had a wonderful 3 nights at the Cow shed. it was the perfect size for our family of four and we felt right at home. the furniture and finishings had no expense spared which gave it a luxury feel. the super king bed was a joy and we now want to buy the same one! we loved the open log fire and the hosts brought us fresh kindling and logs as soon as we asked. the tea and coffee provided was appreciated. the kids loved the double and single 'nook' bed upstairs and the mezzanine to peek over. great location, on a quiet campsite. rural with chickens and ducks roam, but only 10min to local shops pubs restaurants and the standard fast food, McDonald's etc all in all we really enjoyed it and will definitely return. thank you!

Great place with lovely surroundings - short drive into Rhosneigr town where the lovely beach and walks are. Would definitely come back and recommend!

Log burner peace and quiet & lovely clean property

Beautiful accommodation, finished to a high standard and in a quiet but convenient location. Good kitchen facilities, and comfortable super king size bed. Nice fireplace with logs provided.

I understood that no towels would be provided but I didn't realise that would also mean no tea towels! There was also no sponge for washing up or an oven glove which was a little inconvenient. We found it quite cold in the accommodation and time consuming to heat up with the fire due to the large open plan area. The wall heaters barely made any difference so we ended up bringing the single duvet down to the couch to keep warm in the evenings.

One of the best air bnbs we've stayed in. The place was immaculately clean and renovated to a very high standard. The main living space is light and airy and benefits from a log burner with plenty of supplies provided, the sofas were also very comfy (quite a few we have stayed at have been small and uncomfortable). The bathroom has a large shower and again renovated beautifully (note towels not supplied but does state in description). We slept in the ground floor bedroom with the king sized bed, the room was snug but not an issue as only used for sleeping. Outside is a loose stone area which is enclosed and great for the dog and you are able to park right outside the gate. The place was quiet given the campsite and other dwellings. Good location for getting to the main road within a few minutes. Would 100% recommend and was exactly what I wanted for celebrating my birthday with my husband and dog.

A lovely spot for a weekend away. We stayed in January and it was chilly with just the heaters- we relied on the log burner to make it warm enough in the downstairs space but the hosts offered plenty of logs so this wasn’t an issue. The place is well equipped and beds were very comfy- would certainly recommend.

Brilliant stay. Lovely spacious place. Very clean with all the amenities you would need (other than towels but knew about that before). Great for dogs. They loved to cosy fire.

We stayed for 4 nights in this lovely cottage and there was no issue at all. From arriving to leaving we have had a brilliant time and everything in the cottage was brilliant. There is plenty to do around the area, if you’ve got a family or just want a peaceful getaway. The cottage surrounding were also lovely with incredible views. I would highly recommend to anyone who is thinking of staying.

The Cow Shed was lovely. Super cosy and finished to a very high standard. Great location as it was 15 minutes away from many lovely towns and great walks nearby. Will definitely be back on our next trip to Anglesey.

Just returned from a short stay at The Cow Shed and loved it! The place was very clean and cosy, we loved the character and it’s been renovated to a very high standard, and looked even better than the photos. As Airbnb hosts ourselves too we understand the hard work that goes into each short stay, we thoroughly enjoyed our time and would love to return in the future.

Absolutely fabulous space, couldnt reccomend enough. Was super cozy, super clean and just what we needed.

We chose the Cow Shed as we’d picked lots to explore round Anglesey and the stay was perfect. Close to the activities we had planned and so quiet at night! The cottage was spacious and comfortable, with everything we needed easily at hand! Great location and as described on the website with Alice being very responsive on everything we needed! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend for anyone wanting to explore Anglesey

Clean, cosy and comfortable little stay :)

We had an amazing stay at the Cow Shed. Although it was on a campsite and there were guests in the surrounding buildings, we felt completely isolated and it was so peaceful. It was absolutely perfect for our first family holiday. It’s in an ideal spot for exploring the local area, with so many gorgeous spots within a 20min drive. The accommodation itself was beautiful and had everything we needed to feel right at home. The equipment for baby that was supplied by the host (cot, bath and highchair) meant we didn’t have to stress about packing the huge stuff! It was amazing to have that already there. Gorgeous kitchen and a lovely space. The bed was so comfortable even the baby slept more through! Thank you so much. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Cow Shed! It’s beautifully decorated and feels so cosy and welcoming as soon as you walk in. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space for us as a family of three. The location is great and nice and close to Holyhead - we really recommend Enoch’s for fish and chips and Reuben’s for fantastic coffee and breakfast.

There was no washing machine but this was only a minor inconvenience, definitely wouldn’t prevent us from booking again!

A faultless Airbnb. The place was spotless and cosy yet spacious. The location was great for travelling around Anglesey. It’s perfect for 2 couples or a family with children. Would highly recommend this place and we will be returning. The host was happy to help when we asked questions.

We recently stayed at the Cowshed. The cottage was as described. It was clean and tidy and renovated to a higher standard. We know the area well & it was convenient to get to the places we wanted to go to. However, our granddaughters were unable to sleep in the upstairs bedroom as it was far too hot even though a fan was provided. It wasn’t particularly hot weather when we visited. There is no window or skylight upstairs so any heat rises. I had to put the children in with me in the king size bed & my son & husband slept on the sofas as being over 6ft each they could not fit upstairs. It was all rather cramped. Not ideal when I paid almost £600 for 3 nights. Therefore, would not stay again. I would suggest a few more essentials in the kitchen like oil. kitchen roll & extra bin bags.

Myself, wife and 2 young daughters had a lovely time staying at the Cowshed, it was really cosy and had everything you needed. the location itself was great as so peaceful with stunning countryside all around. Anglesey is such a great place for family holidays and this was a very central location for exploring the island. We will definitely return in the future as we had such a nice time.

We stayed for a long weekend at this beautiful cow shed and it was absolutely perfect for what we needed. We eat in both evenings and had the fire pit lit one night and ate outside which was really special for the family. Dogs allowed which was absolutely perfect for us and just some incredible beaches and scenery not too far away! There wasn’t a huge amount of pots and pans but we made do and wasn’t an issue. Remember no towels which again wasn’t an issue. Amazing stay I’d definitely be interested in going back!

Very well presented and great location

Great little place for a small group. Tastefully designed and peaceful location. The log burner was great and they give you plenty of logs. The host responded to any queries within moments. We had an issue with some plug sockets losing power and the host was there within 5 mins, and called an electrician over within 15 mins which is unheard of. A couple of things that could have been better.. the living area and bathroom were very cold. The log burner helped in the living room but the bathroom was permanently freezing and it was in March so be prepared for that! Though bedrooms were nice and warm. This obviously wouldn’t be a problem in later Spring/summer months though. We also knew beforehand to bring bath towels so we made sure of that, but was a bit surprised for there also to be no hand towels in the bathroom. But overall, a great stay in a charming little home. We all had a great time and would definitely recommend.

The Cow Shed was gorgeous, cosy and perfect for our weekend stay in Wales. Alice was a great host who was above and beyond helpful. We will definitely be booking again.

Our host was amazing too; we had an issue with Netflix, Alice couldn’t get it working but also didn’t give up and trying again the next day. She managed to fix it and everything worked smoothly. Beautifully decorated, lovely wood burning stove and a really good sized accommodation. Unfortunately no instructions were sent prior to check in. Had to contact travel nest on the morning of check in who gave details for the owner. Thankfully owner was very helpful and details to find the property/check-in were sent over immediately. Once in the property the owner was responsive to messages providing the WiFi code etc, but it would have been best if this was all provided in a message or email prior to check-in. We didn’t pick up on the list of amenities that towels are not provided at the property. We drove to the nearest supermarket (about 10 mins away) to buy some, but make sure you don’t miss this as we did! Otherwise, the property has everything else you’d need and we had a lovely comfortable stay.

Amazing little place to stay over new years, we wanted somewhere quiet for our dog during fireworks and this certainly ticked all the boxes. Only downside would be the water pressure in the shower wasn’t great but it would not stop us from coming back again! The host was always responsive with all the answers we required. Thankyou again for a great stay!

What a beautiful place to stay! It took our breath away when we entered the property. Old features restored and new ones complimented the old. We felt so lucky to be there! We were there during a storm and felt warm and protected the walls are so thick! The place is so cosy and the WiFi kept the teenagers entertained. The owners ensured plenty of cleaning products and wood for the fire. There was also a fire pit and patio set outside but it was too storing for us to venture out there unfortunately. The location is easy to find and not far from Valley, just off the main road about 2 minutes away. Treuaddur Bay and Holyhead are minutes away. We will try our hardest to get back to the Cow Shed but I suspect that this little gem will book up very far in advance! There will be very many happy visitors to this place!

The cow shed was perfect for four adults and one toddler. The open plan space made it easy to relax and cook with a child. They had every utensil needed to cook a full three course Christmas dinner. It is newly renovated and finished to a very high standard, which is not normally the case in a holiday rental. Spotlessly clean too Communication from the hosts was great and very accommodating. Would recommend the cow shed to anyone looking for a relaxing stay exploring north wales.
