Beautiful Home from Home in Manchester

It was a nice place

clean and close to venue. comfortable beds

no banister at the top of the stairs. sofa very low. front bedroom light not working

Cosy. Really comfortable bed and settee, just laid out wrong to be able to watch the tele comfortably. It was warm. Had all of the main things we needed.

It’s a bit tired in places . The kitchen sink looks like it suffered from a touch of subsidence. The shower water was scalding hot so I had to run a bath and use the bin in the bathroom to collect cold water from the tap to get the right temperature. The little area that is set up to eat from is very small for two people and with a microwave in the way, not really practical. Could have done with a couple of trays so we could eat on our laps in the lounge.

Beautiful and friendly host as we met her when we was leaving bringing in fresh pillows and bed linens, Lovely house on a peaceful neighbourhood with local shops and takeaways places with bus routes directly to the centre not even a 5 minute walk away, House smelt absolutely beautiful when we walked in off fresh lemons, I’d definitely recommend to anyone that was debating staying or not, Thankyou for a lovely lovely stay Florence and TravelNest.

It is a lovely modern clean house, with everything you need

The only downside was it was freezing. I had to put the gas and electric on when we arrived which then took all night to try and heat up

booked this bnb on October 5th 2024 for 9th and 10th of November, put the offer in and it was accepted all good right? nope I messaged 2 days before asking how would we check in so we didn't have to rush around, messaged me saying that we was double booked! and had to cancel our bnb 2 days before the concert! absolutely inconsiderate even after accepting my offer snd taking my money but apparently some other people booked on Travel nest in August! August! for that weekend but still accepted my offer DONT BOOK HERE go anywhere Else but here as they'll most likely double book you again absolutely horrible as I've had to rush around and book somewhere else!

ended up getting double booked on the day but the owner phoned me and was lovely about it offered to pay for another place to stay for the night which she did , wish we did get to stay in this home but still thankful she booked another place to stay

Bathroom has been well done however loo seat is ill fitting. Bed and bedding good. General decor needs to be brought up to standard and kitchen needs revamp / damp smell when adjoining door opened. Clearly spent a lot on electrical fittings but let down by poorly finished decor

Nice place with great location. For the next time i will rent the same place here certainly.

I loved the entire look of the house! Very modern and homely.. Loved the touch light switches. The bathroom was stunning!!!! I could literally move in!!

I would have liked a hand rail on the stairs as I suffer with back problems and I have a weak knee.
