Captivating Isolde Cottage, with pool near St Ives

Swimming pool.

Cob webs and dust. Cottage is in gated garden of owner's house - there were strict rules on where to park your car. Quite expensive.

The cottage was very quaint and suited our purposes very well. It was well appointed and had a little garden at the back that enabled our dogs to run free within the walls.

Great location, nice, quiet and green. Perfect for little retreat. Very cosy and charming property. The owners of the property are very friendly and happy to help with recommendations.

Charming cottage, fully equipped kitchen, loved the outside space. Loved the greenery around the place. Outside space was perfect for bbq and relaxing after a busy day.

it was in a quiet area, clean and had everything you need for you stay. the pool was a big plus with the hot weather.

The cottage is gorgeous and Melissa is a fabulous host - there was a wonderful welcome basket on arrival. The cottage had a lovely little courtyard garden where we could sit in the sun but we also had access to the pool which was perfect for the hot weather. Kitchen was very well equipped - washing machine was useful as we had a sick child one day. Nespresso coffee machine was nice to have. Could access Netflix and Prime which was nice in the evening. Felt like a home from home.

So the only problem with the cottage is that we are tall and it was dinky. You had to remember to duck - on several occasions my husband didn’t! We also had way too much stuff (more than we needed so our own fault) for the storage but it wasn’t too bad.

would benefit from a small tv in the bedroom. seating arrangements in the living room for relaxing ok but for snuggling up together not really comfortable. Smell of animals continues throughout stay, has to purchase plug ins and candles

The host Melissa was available to help and gave us handy tips on our day trips. The cottage is perfect for a couple. All you need for a good base.

Had an amazing stay at Isodale Cottage! Melissa the host was so welcoming and friendly. The cottage is compact but had everything we needed for a great stay. The pool was lovely and in a good location for exploring via car.

A lovely, quiet retreat.Beautiful location and cottage. Very clean and excellent facilities, Melissa has thought of everything to make life comfortable. A lovely afternoon cream tea and drinks were waiting for us on arrival. Location was great, far enough to be away from hussle and bussel, but the loveliest local beach of Godrevy was under 10 minutes. Would highly recommend.

Melissa as a host was wonderful - the lovely welcome hamper was a great touch - fizz, cream tea and some essentials to get us started was a nice bonus. The pool and surrounding garden were great to help us relax into our holiday. Hopefully we will be back and thank you for making us so welcome

The property is very small not good for anyone over 6ft Parking is terrible Its in a middle of no where 20min taxi to anywhere Swimming pool not heated very cold

Beautifully decorated. Perfect location, nicely remote but close to everything in Cornwall too. Melissa is an excellent host, we had everything we needed. Accepts pets and left treats and bed for him too, made us feel very welcome from even before we arrived. Such a sun trap in the courtyard garden, gorgeous for breakfast and dinner, gets the sun morning and evening. Beautiful surroundings, long walks, beach is 10 minutes away.

Would be cold in winter, but lots of heaters throughout to warm up quickly. Small, but then we had a large dog and my partner is 6ft6.
