Rustic Lodge Retreat at Riverview Holiday Park

We only needed one night as we had late night stargazing at Kielder observatory but would have been happy to spend longer. Very comfortable, clean and much more spacious than we thought it would be.

It was lovely and cosy, extremely well equipped kitchen, had everything we needed, nice and warm with electric heaters on

Clean, tidy, warm and cozy and attention to detail from the hosts made for a very relaxing and enjoyable stay

Really comfortable. Fantastic bathrooms and comfy beds. It was good that the floors were wooden for folks who go on walks or who have dogs. Really enjoyed our stay and everything was fine.. nice touches such as a pint of milk in the fridge. All of the electrical appliances looked brand new too.

Thanks for letting us stay, sadly it wasn’t long enough but the place is fabulous and I’m hopeful to return and make proper use of the lovely warm, peaceful and calm surroundings

This is a great place to stay, highly recommended. The hosts were extremely helpful. The lodge was generally very comfortable and clean. The location is remote and peaceful. I would definitely visit again.

Just an overnight stay on travels. Phone signal for us was zero! Difficulty locating in the dark. Download maps pre arrival!

The hosts were great with communication. Sent us a map of the holiday area before we arrived so we knew where the cabin was. The cabin was immaculate and had a very cozy vibe. The complimentary wine was also a great touch!

It was a cold summer day and I was elated there was a fire place! A really comfortable place, I would loved to have stayed for a week!

I couldn't lock the front door but felt safe enough. There was a drainage issue with the ensuite shower, that may have been a temporary issue. Don't let that put you off. It's a great place. It's on my list for next time

We really loved staying here. It’s super remote which is great. There are a lot of pot holes on the road in to the holiday park which would have been a challenge in my husbands car but we were okay as my car is higher. Hawick is lovely as is kielder forest / castle. We’d definitely stay again! The host left us a mini bottle of red and white wine which were a really nice treat as were the fresh flowers in the kitchen. Thank you!

Very homely lodge and perfect for bringing dogs. Very well equipped and nice quiet area for walks with the dogs.
