The hut was in a really good condition, furnished and equipped to a great standard. Really warm inside even in winder when the fire place is on. Well insulated hut!

The telescope on site, if one like gazing at stars at night, did not seem to work. The hut would also benefit from a little fridge, like the ones in hotel rooms.

This is such a lovely spot, peaceful and quiet. The shepherds hut is lush, really well equipped, clean and beautifully decorated. I stayed in early September and it was warm enough and held the temp through the night. Jennifer and Kevin are great hosts. Communication was really clear and easy, which made checking in a doddle. Jennifer was really helpful and gave some fab local tips. There were even some breakfast treats left in the hut which I super appreciated. Would 100% stay there again.

Had a really lovely time in owls roost and shall be returning at a later date.

Was a nice and quiet location surrounded by fields. Great to see the cows in field waiting for us when we returned from our meal.. There were two shepherd huts plus the added bonus of a covered wooden bench/picnic table as well as separate table and chairs. for each hut. Firepit was great plus the added bonus of a telescope to use on a clear night which was unexpected. The hut was a really good size, bigger than most we've stayed in. Nice decor and the layout was great. We were provided with tea and biscuits on arrival plus a few breakfast bits, which was a nice touch. Bathroom a good size also, didn't feel squashed up on loo like you do in some! Host were lovely and even gave us a tour of the farm. Was nice to see the calves and chickens, even gave us a couple of eggs to take home!
